Love you baby.� �Love you too.� I hung up my phone, grabbed my purse and headed out to the car. Okay, so I lied, the girls didn�t really call me, they were waiting, patiently. Ha! Club time for us. We walked in, and our eyes scanned the crowd. I grabbed Shannon�s arm and she turned to look at me. Talk about some fine black men! I pointed over to the two sitting at the counter and she smirked. �Is that Ja Rule?� �Oh, good Lord, it is.� �Let�s go hit him up.� �I�m down. Bye ladies.� We walked over to the two men talking and stood behind them for a couple of seconds. They finally turned around and saw us. �Theresa.� �Will, how are you doing?� I asked, giving him a hug. �I�m fine. Hey Shannon.� He gave her a hug and turned to Ja. �Man, met two of the hottest girls here. Shannon and Theresa.� Shannon shook his hand and I rolled my eyes. �What are you all having?� �Just a couple of mixed drinks,� Ja answered. I raised my eyebrow and felt someone looking at me. �Bitch alert,� I heard Shannon mumble under her breath. I turned around and locked eyes with Jennifer Lopez. I leaned back against the bar and waited as she walked over to me. �God, this crowd is hoppin�,� Jennifer yelled to the remaining ladies. �Of course. They smiled at the men standing there. �Hey guys,� Terri answered. �What�s going on?� AJ asked, walking over to Megan. �Nothing, just, um, getting out for some fun.� �And baby, you didn�t invite us?� �No, sorry.� AJ shook his head and smiled. �Let�s hit the floor.� They left and Nick walked over to Terri. He touched her cheek softly and gazed at her. �I missed you baby.� �Same here. Few days is just not fair.� His eyes watched the crowd on the floor and smirked. �Let�s go show them up.� Terri nodded her head and followed Nick. Jennifer sat down and Kevin sat down right next to her. �Is D here?� �Came with J. Lo.� Jennifer sighed and shook her head. She leaned back against Kevin�s chest. �Do you find that situation a little, odd?� �Everyone does. But they are close as friends.� �Ever wonder if it�s been more than that?� �All the time.� Kevin looked down at her and kissed her forehead. �Don�t think about them though.� �And the whole gang is here,� Shannon whispered. �What�s wrong?� Ja asked. �A long story. Come on though, let�s hit the floor.� Shannon walked away with Ja Rule following her. I smirked to myself, and than I locked eyes with Brian as he stared at her and shook his head. �What are you doing here?� I turned to glance at Jennifer. �Having a girls night out. And you? Following my every move now?� �That�s so no it. Someone asked me if I wanted to go with him and I agreed. Seeing how his woman was always working.� �I take it you mean D?� �Of course, who else?� �Well, than Jennifer, have a wonderful evening.� I smiled, turned and took the seat next to Will. I heard her heels click against the floor, letting me know she was walking closer. �I done told you I would not let you hurt D.� �I�m not hurting him. I�m talking to a friend. He�s the one bringing other women to the club. Big difference.� �You know, he has needs just like every man. If you could stop being the fuckin� slut you are, than maybe you would, or could, see to his more often.� �Oh, so now I�m a slut?� �You�ve always been one.� I glared at her and felt my arm start to raise. I glanced at Will as he covered my arm and shook his head. I turned my back on her and ordered a drink. I sipped it, knowing she was still standing her. �Jennifer, let�s dance,� I heard Howie say. I turned around and glanced at him. �And just were where you when you called me?� He turned around and smiled. �Baby, I didn�t know you were here. I was on my cell of course.� �Of course. Go, have fun, party all you want to.� I jumped off my seat and felt Will right behind me. �Chill girl. Just chill. Don�t get worked up over them.� I glanced back to him and rolled my eyes. �Let�s sit down at the table,� I said, nodding my head towards the group. We walked over and we sat down. Brian said something and Kevin agreed and both busted out laughing I took a swig of my drink, having a blast hanging out with the guys and I felt Will tap my shoulder. �Wanna dance?� I heard the latin beats come on and smiled. �Come on guys, let�s see what you got?� They smiled and the three people got up as well. We walked out on the dance floor and I laughed as I heard Will Smith�s song came on. �What?� �I have this CD. I know this song.� �And the problem?� I shook my head and smiled. �Not a damn thing.� He placed his hands on my hips and I swayed mine with his. I shook my shoulders to the latin beat and turned. He pulled my back against his chest and I smirked. My eyes followed the crowd as they moved back and I saw J. Lo and Howie dancing. I turned back around and nodded my head to Will. �We gotta show them up, please?� �No problem shorty.� |
