The first people I should have told was my sisters so they could have been there for me.� Shannon and Megan walked over and gave me a hug. �It�s okay honey. You�re forgiven,� Megan said. I smiled and wiped the tears away. �So, did I hear you playing the piano?� Shannon asked. I sniffled and shook my head. �Kevin came here. He needed to talk to me about something. We wrote a song called �Found Love�.� �A slow song?� Terri asked. �More importantly, a love ballad?� Shannon asked. �Yeah. But it�s really pretty. And I wanted it as a duet.� �Not a shabby idea,� Megan said. I laughed and shook my head. �Where do you want them to shoot that at?� I walked in on Meshelle talking to someone. I leaned against the door frame, waiting for her. �You want them here. Not on tour? I think I can arrange that. How soon? Wait, a couple days? They�re supposed to be recording. Yeah, fine, three days, I�ll let them know.� I raised my eyebrow at her and smiled. �What�s going on?� �MTV is coming over.� �That�s great. For what?� �Remember those videos you selected?� �Of course.� �Trinity�s top50 videos.� I busted out laughing and shook my head. �You�re not joking?� �Nope, sorry.� I frowned. �We don�t have the time for that.� She shrugged and I groaned. �Whatever man. Anyways, we�re going into the studio, see what we can come up with.� �Have fun.� I smiled and walked back out the door. I ran into the studio and slammed the door. �Something wrong?� Shannon asked. �MTV wants to do Trinity�s top 50 favorite videos. They�re going to be here in like three days.� �That takes way to much time and we don�t have that kind of time.� I shrugged my shoulders at Megan. �That�s bull shit,� Terri said. �I agree,� Jennifer added. �We all think so. But we don�t have a choice, let�s play.� I walked over to the drums and waited for the rest of the gals. Two hours later, we all sighed. �If you change this, you might as well change the whole song,� Megan cried out. �Look, we�re working on this as a group. We all put our input on it,� I said. She glared at me and I smirked at her. �Look, let�s play the little bit we have.� I tapped my sticks together and let Shannon do her little riff. She played 10 bars and on the 11th, the vocals came through. �You better not stop (listening)/ And you better watch out (oh yeah)/ Cause we�re gonna get into your hearts�.� Terri had the lead and Jennifer and I did the little parts. This was our song for the fans and we wanted it perfect. We entitled it �Why We�re Here� but not sure if we wanted to keep it or not. �I�m tired,� Shannon whined. I rolled my eyes and knew I agreed. �Let�s rest up some. Lunch sound good?� Terri asked. �Or dinner. It�s pushing 4,� Jennifer announced. �Damn, we played around for a while,� Megan said. �Pizza!� I hollered out. We ran out of the room and headed for the car. The camera zoomed in on us sitting on the floor in the living room. �Welcome�� Terri started. �Dude, it�s morning. Don�t say welcome. Say something like good morning. Welcome MTV and the fans.� The girls just busted out laughing at me. �You�re chillin� with Trinity. And the rest of the day, we�ll be here and so will you,� Megan stated. �All mine! Now I can take their brains and take over the world!� I yelled out. �Well, it was an idea,� I mumbled. �Don�t pay any attention to her, she�s crazy.� �Takes a nut case to know a nut case,� Terri added on. �Anyway, let�s get started on our number 50 favorite video. TLC and �No Scrubs�,� Jennifer announced. I was getting ready to punch Megan when we were told we were on. I smiled so very sweetly. �Hey, welcome back. Resa and Megan here. You all are chillin� with Trinity and their top 50 favorite videos,� I said. �That�s a lot. Wow! Anyway, the other girls went to go do something so you have us. Lets head straight into the number 49 video, Madonna with �Express Yourself�,� Megan said. I got back up punch her and she ran away. �Hey, hey, hey, what�s up out there? Well, if you don�t know, than ya should know. I�m Resa from Trinity. Megan ran away cause she thought I was going to hit her. I might have.� I laughed. �Anyways, I�m going to take you on a little tour, and just maybe we might meet up with someone else. This is our very spacious living room. It�s nice. We want to the buy this house, but it�s quite to much for me.� I walked into the kitchen. �Where we eat, from time to time. Trinity�s girls just loves to eat out. That�s one of our many bad habits.� I walked into the game room and saw Shannon there, playing pool. �Look who it be, my long lost friend. I missed ya.� I ran over to her and gave her a hug. |
