| �Okay Megan. What can I do for you two?� �Just wanted to say hi. And why are you bored?� �D is gone, everyone else was busy. Didn�t really want to go out in that heat. And in this house, there�s nothing else to do.� �You hate being off of the tour, huh?� AJ asked. I sat down next to him and put my leg over his lap. �Very much so. I hate not having anything to do.� �I understand so very much,� AJ said. I leaned against Jennifer and closed my eyes, and completely passed out. �No, no, Resa turn to the left. Right there and Megan, bend down. Yes, just like that.� He took another 10 pictures like that before he called a break. �I�m fuckin� going to kill him,� Megan said, coming up behind me. �I do not blame you. He�s pissing me off,� I said, rolling my eyes. We went and did a quick change of clothes and walked back to the picture room. �Now I want individual pictures. Shannon�s first.� She walked to one wall and there took 25 pictures. That was what he was doing with all of us. These pictures were going to be used for two things. Our next magazine spread with YM and our next album pictures. But, we weren�t working on that yet. We only released two singles off of Trinity and just getting ready to release our third single. But, it was a slow jam. This man was strange. He wanted us to be hot, I don�t mean look hot, just to be really hot. Black and white leather. That�s what he made us wear. Megan had on black pants and a white halter top. I had on a white skirt with a black halter top. Jennifer was dressed the same as Megan. And Shannon and Terri were both wearing white tank tops and black skirts. �I think we should wear this tonight, what do you say?� Megan asked me. I glanced at our outfits and smiled. �It would totally throw the guys out of the loop.� He called out for Jennifer, Terri, Megan and told me I was last. Once that was finished we went to another room and took the five chairs. This was the interview part. �Welcome today ladies. I�m Rachel, from YM. Let�s talk about some other stuff for a change. Like what�s going on with you ladies and with Britney and J.Lo?� �It�s quite simple. As musical artists, we respect them. They have talent and that�s a good thing. They use it, even better. But outside that, we don�t have much respect for them,� I said. �Rolling Stones quoted us and the girls read it and they took it to heart, thinking we meant we didn�t like them at all. Which is not true,� Terri added. �There�s a fine difference between not liking someone and not respecting someone. If they changed their attitude a little, we might respect them a little more,� Shannon finished off. �I see. So, have they said or done anything?� �No, they haven�t bashed us. At least, not that we know of,� Megan said, laughing. �Is it hard for you Resa? We all know J.Lo and D are good friends.� �It�s not hard at all. Just because I don�t respect her does not mean that D has to stop being her friend. I don�t choose his friends and I wouldn�t put him in that position.� �Fair enough. Let�s move on. You guys have been riding the stardom train for a year. Only released two singles, why is that?� �Who knows? �Bad Girls� is still doing very well. We�re still touring and promoting. We really don�t have time to release another song and promote that,� Shannon said. �We want to make it cool for the fans. Our next single, actually, is coming out rather shortly, but it�s a slow song,� Jennifer said, adding a smile. �Why a slow song?� �Well, we read what the critics say lately. That they think that everyone in Trinity is a fraud when it comes to singing. Terri usually takes the vocals, and that�s cool. They�ll admit we can play, but singing is different. This song, is nothing but us singing. Me and Terri take the leads first. Jennifer has the chorus to herself. Shannon and Megan come in next and a whole bunch of other stuff. Jennifer is the only one playing her instrument,� I said. �Why did you guys do it like that?� �Because it�s a very powerful love ballad. And we all know that Trinity plays nothing but fast stuff. So, if you�re going to go out of the norm, make sure it�s powerful,� Terri said. �Weren�t you the one who wrote it?� �Just the lyrics. I had help though.� �The girls have her back. We have each other backs,� Shannon said, nodding her head. �So, you guys are still tight with each other? No fights?� �Oh, there�s always fights. We�re sisters. But, we also don�t go home mad,� Jennifer said. �Fair enough. Moving on, when you guys started, did you honestly think Trinity would become what it�s became?� �Of course not. When you first start out, you don�t think anything like that. You think only of the music,� Terri said. �But now, it�s different. We think of music but we also get the press and the fans. The fans are wonderful. We owe everything to them,� I said. �They took us in and loved us. Bought our pictures, our singles, our album. Anything we�re on or in, they have. It�s a very flattering ordeal,� Shannon said. �Who would you think is your biggest fan in the music business?� �Um, the Backstreet Boys. They have been supportive of us since day one. It has nothing to do with lovers or whatever. They have told us over and over, we have talent and that�s why they watched our backs. Why they gave us support. Why the spread our name out there,� Jennifer said. �Do you think they helped you in the business?� I closed my eyes and sighed. �They didn�t help us. I mean, yeah, they spread the name, but by the time they did, Trinity had made it. The name was on the tips of tongues. So, it wasn�t much of a help. We climbed that road ourselves,� Megan answered. �That is very true. If there this one thing you could say to each and every fan, what would it be?� We all looked at each other and smiled. �That we thank them. Thank them for loving us, for reading about us, for buying our stuff. Just thank you for being them. We honestly wouldn�t be here without them. We owe them everything,� I said. The girls just nodded their head. That was the one answer we all made up in case of that. And believe me, we got it asked quite a bit. �Thank you ladies.� �Thank you Rachel,� Megan said. We all shook hands and walked down to the awaiting limo. Time to hit the club. We walked to the back of the club and waited as the guy let us in. |
