Im not.  Just tell him to be nice.  Shannon watched as Terri huffed over and sat down next to her.  Whats wrong girl?
Nick.  Hes being a fuckin baby.  God, sometimes I even fuckin wonder why I choose to love him.
What did he do?
Hes complaining.  He got misquoted in something or other and I was trying to tell him it wasnt that big of a deal.  It wasnt going to hurt him or them or anyone else.  Well, he thinks it will and he told the person who wrote the article, but she wont change it, she doesnt see the need to.  And Nicks whining about it.
Girl, you gotta let Nick be.  I mean, after all, that is him.  Thats what he does best, you know?  You love him, you gotta take all of him.  Even his bad parts, Shannon said, resting her arm on Terris shoulder.  Terri glanced at her and than at Nick.
I know.  Just sometimes he just really annoys me.
Guys are really good at that.
Thanks Shannon.
No problem girl.  Go, have fun.  Shannon watched her walk back to Nick and watched as Brian left.  He walked over and sat down.  What?
Nothing.  Just Terri said she needed to talk to Nick.
Okay, is that bad?
Nick was rather upset.
So Terri told me.
And you solved the problem without hearing Nick out?
Well, if the problem was the misquote, thats not really a problem, just a sign that Nick needs to grow up.
Theres more it than that Shannon.  I wish you wouldnt do that.  If youre going to help, at least hear out both parties.
Brian, youre the one who shouldnt jump the gun.  All I told Terri was that she needed to except Nick for what he was.  Flaws and all.  If you love someone, you overlook the bad, that simple.  I didnt tell her anything else.  Brian sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.  He looked at her and shook his head.  He got up and walked away, in search of someone.  Shannon sighed, knowing she just had another fight with Brian.  She glanced at Megan and Megan smiled.  She walked over and gave Shannon a hug.
Dont worry about Brian.  He just needs to cool off.  Shannon smiled her thanks and locked eyes with AJ.  He smiled and she smiled back, feeling a little bit better.

Three months later, we were back home and happy.  And no one knew my secret.  Sure, people walked in on us when we were sitting on the couch, or with my head on his legs, or us talking, but we were really good friends.  No one even took another thought to it.  Though, there were fights shooting out like all kinds.  First Shannon and Brian.  Shannon always tried to help us, no matter the problem.  And Brian didnt like that idea. He felt that if was to happen, he would see Shannon always dragged into something and he would never be with her.  And than Megan and AJ.  I wasnt all to certain what was going on there, but I had a feeling that Megan thought AJ was cheating. But we all knew AJ would never do such a thing.  And the last, me and D.  But that wasnt anything new.  We always fought.  But things got worse with us when were together so much.  Sometimes you just need space.  I sat my bags down in my bedroom and watched as Howie walked in.  He placed his bags on the bed and looked around.
Everything okay?  I just nodded my head and walked into the bathroom.  I placed my things there and heard Howie putting his stuff away.  The phone started ringing and I waited for a few seconds to see if D would pick it up.  When he didnt, I walked out to the bedroom and picked it up.
Hello?
Resa?
Wow, hey man, how are you doing?
Im great.  And you?  Did you enjoy the tour?
Somewhat.  Are you in Florida?
Yeah.  Im filming a movie.  I was hoping you were back.
Yeah, Im back.
Great.  You know, did you want to meet up for dinner.  I wanted to talk to you about something.
Gosh Hayden, I glanced at D as he quickly looked over at me at the mere mention of his name.  I would love to.  Do you want to meet somewhere?
That would be perfect.  Um, how about Valentinos?
Perfect.  Meet you there about 7, kay?
Ill make the reservations.
Bye Hayden.  I hung up the phone and quickly walked to the closet.  I pulled out a nice dress and laid it on the bed.
Where are you going?
Im going to eat dinner with Hayden.
Is that the way this is going down?
What do you mean Howie?
I meant that we fight and you just run to another man.  I groaned and turned my back on him.
Im not running to another man Howard.  Hayden is a friend, nothing more.  I turned back around and Howie was seething.
Whatever you say Theresa.  Im going out.  He grabbed his keys and his wallet and left the room.  Seconds later, I heard the door slam shut.  I let out my breath and quickly took a shower.

Im glad you made it Resa.  I glanced behind me, feeling someone watching me.
Well, Hayden, you are a friend.  You know I dont mind seeing you.  We sat down and he held the chair for me.
You look wonderful by the way.  That dress is justwow.  I blushed.  It had been way to long since someone looked at me like that.
Thanks Hayden. And you dont look half bad yourself.
Thanks.  He order our food and we made small talk.
Okay, enough with the small chat Hayden.  Whats going on?
Im having a girl problem.  I laughed but took a sip of my wine.
Go on.
I really like this girl.  Shes wonderful, smart, just beautiful.  But shes takin.  And I know she likes me too.  I thought about it for a minute and nodded my head.
Does she not want to leave the other guy?
Well, she does.  But, shes scared.
Hayden, you just have to tell her to let the man go.  You cant stop loving someone.  It maybe painful, but you cant stop it.  If she truly loves you, she would let him go.  You have to help her with that though, too.
