| �Did she invite you?� Brian asked me. �No, but I�m inviting myself.� I looked at Shannon and she nodded her head. �Okay, so, the party after the concert then?� Nick asked. I turned to Howie who only nodded his head. �Cool.� I gazed out the window and stared at the full moon. �What are you looking at?� Kevin asked me. �Nothing really. Just the moon. I love looking at it,� I said. I glanced at him and then over at Shannon. She was just looking at me. She finally mouthed �we need to talk�. I just nodded my head and started looking out the window again. We pulled up to the hotel and we all got out. Shannon grabbed my hand and we walked, more like ran, to the elevators. The guys followed us but the doors closed before they got a chance to get in. As it hit our floor, Shannon pulled me into her room. �Resa, what�s wrong?� �Have you ever felt like everything is perfect, yet, you know something is going to make it all fall apart?� �Not really, but I understand what you mean.� �I just, I wish this fuckin� feeling would go away. When I left Kentucky, it felt like I was going into a new life. But, if this is my new life, I don�t want it.� �Resa, just let it go. You know nothing is going to happen, so why worry girl?� �I don�t know Shannon. It�s just odd. The feeling comes and goes. It�s just, just odd,� I said, shaking my head. �Theresa, I�m worried about you. This, you never act like this.� �I know. I�m trying not to think about it�� I got cut off as the door opened and in walked AJ and Howie. �Are you guys ready to go?� AJ asked. Shannon glanced at me and I just nodded my head. We grabbed our jackets and left the room. Two weeks later, we boarded the plane and was on our way to Switerzland. I stole a window seat and Howie sat down right beside me. �How are you?� he asked as he grabbed my hand. �I couldn�t be better and you?� �I�m fine, now that my baby is here.� I just looked at him and laughed. �Howie, you�re so strange.� �Yeah, but you love me, so it doesn�t matter.� I just nodded my head and gave him a kiss. He let go of my hand and moved it over to my thigh. I pulled back and looked at him. �Howard, we�re on a plane,� I said, a small smile appearing on my face. �Fine, whatever,� he mumbled, grabbing my hand again. I glanced over at Shannon and she mouthed �can we talk�. I just nodded my head and she came over. �Excuse me D, girl talk time.� �Fine. I can see when I�m not loved.� �Exactly,� Shannon and I said at the same time. �Oh fine.� He quickly got up, but I pulled him back down. I gave him a kiss and pulled back. �You know we love you.� He smiled and got up again. �If you need me, I�ll be with Bone, asking him how he got that hickey.� He smiled and left to go sit with AJ. �So, what did�.SQUEAKY!� �What?� She looked at me and asked. �What were you two doing?� I glanced around and noticed all the other people giving me weird looks. And as I glanced at AJ and Howie, they both had amused looks. �Yes, I know I have a hickey. But, it�s not as bad as yours.� �Excuse me, I don�t have a hickey.� �Yeah sure, you burned yourself, right?� �What do you mean? I really have a hickey?� �Yes, you do. And it�s pretty dark.� I quickly got out of my seat and ran to the bathroom. I pulled my hair back and noticed the dark hickey Shannon told me about. �Great, just great. My hair has to be up for the show and now everyone is going to see this thing,� I thought to myself. �Actually, look at it like this. You and Bone will both have hickeys and you can�t hide them.� I pulled my hair back and glared at her in the mirror. �You are such a bitch Squeaky.� �Thank you.� I sighed and we left the bathroom. I sat back down and looked at Howie. He looked at me with a look of �what happened�. I pulled my hair back and pointed to the hickey. He just smiled this proud smile at me and went back talking to Bone. I rolled my eyes and started talking with Shannon. �Hey Resa?� �What?� �Thank you for trying and making it.� I just looked at her, not knowing what she was talking about. �When you said you had to audition and you said who you would be dancing with. I just wanted to thank you.� I looked at her and smiled. �Glad to see you�re happy.� She smiled and we started talking about the past. �Hey Resa?� I turned my head around and saw Nick sitting down next to me. �Enjoying the view?� �Oh yeah. What did you need Nicky?� �Hey, don�t call me Nicky,� he said, pouting. �Aww, poor baby. Here, let me kiss you and make it better.� I leaned forward and gave him a kiss on the cheek. �Feel better now?� �Yeah, I do. Thank you.� �Now I�m jealous,� Howie said, coming over to our seats. �Aww, my baby want a kiss too?� He nodded and sat down on my lap. I groaned at the weight, �Get off of me,� I shouted. He just looked at me and laughed. He finally got up and went and sat down with Kevin. �So, Nick, what�s up?� �Nothing really. Just thought I would come and chill with my home girl.� I smiled and nodded my head. �How are things going with you and Steph?� �Oh, great. Thanks for your advice. It really helped.� �See Nick. I told you that you had to be yourself.� �Yeah, so, if you ever need anything, give me a call, okay?� �Sure Nick. You�ll be the first person I�ll call.� I looked up as I saw Brian walking over to us. �Hey Nick, Resa. What�s up you guys?� �Nothing. Just thanking Resa for helping me with Stephanie.� He smiled and nodded his head. |
