| �Nothing. I�m just hungry.� I walked to my closet and put my robe away. �I know something is up, what is it?� he asked, wrapping his arms around my waist. I just pulled his arms away and walked to the kitchen. I sat down at the table and pulled my food out. �Theresa, what�?� �Dressed a little quickly and then left D. How the hell did you think I was going to feel? You seemed happy to see Cindy.� �Theresa, I�m sorry. But Cindy was giving me my information for the next two days. And I didn�t mean to make you feel anything, I�m sorry, really.� He placed his hands on my shoulders and started massaging. I just placed my hands on top of his and stopped them. �I�m sorry D. I shouldn�t have exploded like that.� �It�s okay.� He brought his hand to my cheek and then brought his lips to mine. We finally pulled apart and he sat down. �Hey baby,� Shannon called out. �Yo?� AJ called back. �I�m going to go get ready, okay?� Shannon asked. She turned around as AJ walked out of his room, dressed in a towel. She let her eyes travel from his beautiful brown eyes and down his toned chest. She heard a soft chuckle. She quickly snapped her eyes up to his. �I take it by that smile, you like what you see?� �Um, yeah, very much. Well, I do need to go get ready,� she said. She gave him a quick kiss and walked out the door. �God, I�ve wanted to see that for so long,� she thought to herself. She quickly ran to her room and glanced at the time. She had an hour to get ready. We pulled up to the club, all very hyper, wanting to enjoy our last day of freedom. �Damn, I can�t believe we start tomorrow,� Nick said. I just nodded my head, not wanting to think about it. We all got out of the limo and entered �Funscades�, the hottest club. �Mombo Number 5� by Lou Vega was playing. �Let�s dance Shannon,� I heard AJ ask, dragging Shannon on the floor. �Come on, let�s go show them,� Howie suggested. I followed him on the floor, getting looks from everyone. I glanced over at Shannon, I checked her outfit out and laughed. �Shannon, look at what you�re wearing,� I said. She gave me this strange look and then looked herself up and down. �Why don�t we notice this before?� she asked. �I don�t know, but you better stop copying me.� �Me? No, you better stop copying me.� �Whateve McLean. �Whatever Dorough.� She just smiled and took AJ to another spot. �God, you two are funny,� Howie told me. I just smiled at him and gave him a kiss. �Yeah, we are. Get used to it.� �Must I?� �Yes sweetie, you have to.� The song ended and the Boys single �I Want It That Way� came on. �Sorry man, may I cut in?� Brian asked from behind me. �Yeah, sure B-Rok. Want something to drink Theresa?� �Just a soda. Thanks babe.� I gave him a kiss and watched him walk off. �So, how are you doing?� Brian asked. �I�m okay. Totally excited about tomorrow.� �That�s good. I�m sure everything is going to be cool.� �Yeah. People yelling at me is cool.� �Funny. But really, they�ll be nice.� �Brian, no. I wouldn�t be nice if I saw any girl dancing with my favorite Boy.� He just smiled at me and gave me a hug. I heard him softly singing in my ear as we danced. �Resa, if I�ve been an asshole�� �Bri, don�t. I deserved everything. And just leave it there.� He gave me another smile and a kiss on the cheek as the song ended. �Thanks for the dance. Save me another one.� �Oh, okay. I�m sure I can.� I started walking back to the table in search of Shannon and AJ. �Hey, anyone see the two love birds?� I asked, sitting next to Howie. �Nope,� he said, picking me up and sitting me on his lap. �Wanna go outside?� AJ asked, as the DJ played the next song. �Oh, wait. �I Want It That Way� is on.� �Baby, come on. I�ll sing it for you, okay?� �Okay, fine.� She grabbed his hand and walked outside. They went for a little walk and talked and enjoyed the night air. �Your going to be okay with me touring, right?� �Yeah. I know we may not see each other a lot, but I trust you.� �Okay. Now, Squeaky, are you upset that Esa is dancing with me?� �What? Never, that�s a promise. Come on. I know you would never hurt me.� �It�s the truth babe. I never would.� AJ just stopped and looked at Shannon in the moonlight. �Shannon?� �Yes AJ?� �I know I haven�t known you long. Or that we haven�t dated long, but I really do love you.� �Excuse me?� �I said, I love you.� �My God, wow.� "Geez, I didn�t think you would be that happy.� �Oh well, I�ve waited a while to hear those words. In fact, never really thought I would be dating you. AJ, I love you too.� He smiled at her and pulled her in for a kiss. Again, when AJ pressed his lips to hers, sparks just went off. As they pulled away, they both were a tad breathless and just smiled at each other. �Would you like to go back to the club?� �Actually, it�s still early, how about a movie?� AJ suggested. �Hey, that�s cool. Umm, how about Halloween, H2O?� �Sounds good to me.� They walked back to the club in search of anyone. I noticed them looking around and just smiled. �What�s so funny?� Howie asked me. |
