She once told me that if he asked and you two weren�t going out then she would say yes. That�s why.� �Theresa, do you feel, honestly, that there is a chance for us?� I sucked in a breath and thought. I just looked at him and smiled. �Yeah. AJ, I know there is a chance. But the first thing you need to do is become her friend. Then, time will only tell.� �Thanks Esa. Thanks D. I�m going to head on over to bed.� �Hey AJ, man, it was really no problem,� Howie said. �D, you know he still loves you,� I told him. �Yeah, I know. Do you?� I just looked into his eyes, his beautiful brown eyes. Somewhere in my heart, I answered the question. I smiled at him and he smiled back. �Yeah D, I love you.� �That�s good because I love you too.� �Sorry to break this cute little moment, but can I talk to D alone Esa?� �Sure Alexy. See ya in the morning.� He gave me a hug and followed Howie out the door. Once outside, AJ looked at Howie. �Do you really love her or were you just talking about a friend love?� �No Bone. When I looked in her eyes, I felt something, something unexplainable. My soul just came out and said, �yeah, you do love her!�� �I swear D, if you hurt her, you won�t be living.� �AJ, man, I promise you, I won�t hurt her. Man, why would I?� �D, I don�t know. But still. She�s one of my best friends and I don�t want to mend her heart due to my other best friend.� �I understand. But I do love her.� �I know. Well, I�m going to go and let ya get back with your honey. Night D.� �Night AJ.� I picked up the phone and dialed Shannon�s number. �Hello?� she mumbled. �Hey, did I wake you girl?� �Yeah. But don�t worry. What can I do for you?� �Shannon, damn how can I ask this? Okay, I know you. And right about now, you�re probably having feelings about you and Brian. Most likely, a feeling like it isn�t right. Am I right?� �Yeah Resa, you are. Damn how the fuck did you learn me so well?� �Shannon, we�ve been friends for like 8 years now. I know you and you know me.� �True, very true. And yes, before you ask, I am thinking about AJ.� �Shannon, don�t you ever do that to me in public again.� And with that, we both started laughing. I finally calmed down and turned around as the door opened. �Okay, I�m better now. So, what did Howie say?� �What do you mean?� I just glanced at Howie and smiled. My heart just about melted as he gave me a very sexy smile back. I turned around and paid attention to Shannon. �Did he say anything of importance?� �Yeah. He loves me.� �Oh well, good for you. I�m sure it won�t be long before anything else happens.� I gasped as I felt Howie start kissing my neck. He wrapped one arm around my waist while the other moved the hair aside. �Shannon, I have to get going. I�ll talk to you later, okay?� �Okay. Night Theresa.� �Night Shannon.� I hung up the phone and turned around. I stood there, gazing into Howie�s eyes. I felt his hands on my waist, slowly starting to lift my shirt up. �Theresa, I know you may think this fast�� �Howie, just shut up and kiss me.� I pushed my lips on his and he lifted my shirt up. He broke away form the kiss, removed the shirt and started kissing my neck. He moved down a little further, placing soft kisses right above my chest. He slowly paced his hands on the back of my bra but a knock stopped him from going any farther. I grabbed my shirt and opened the door. �Hey B-Rok. What can I do for you?� �Is Howie here?� �Yeah, why?� �Lou is calling a meeting.� �Okay,� Howie said. I jumped at his voice cause I didn�t know he had come up behind me. �I�ll catch you later, okay hun?� �Yeah.� I gave him a kiss and he left. I closed and locked the door. I went to my bedroom and changed and climbed into bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out. I woke up to the smell of egg and pancakes and the sound of people laughing. I got out of the bed and walked into the kitchen. �Good morning baby,� Howie said. He walked over to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. �Good morning.� I sat down at the table and looked around. I smiled at Shannon and she smiled back. Everybody was here except for AJ. �Where�s AJ?� I asked. �Sleeping in,� Howie told me. I just glanced at him and he smiled back. �I�m going to go wake him up.� With that, I left the table and left the room. I walked over to AJ�s room and knocked. He didn�t respond so I just let myself in. I saw that his bedroom door was closed. I walked over to it and knocked. Still no answer. I opened the door and saw him fast asleep. �AJ,� I called out softly. No response. �Alexy,� I called out. He still didn�t answer. I walked over to the bed and gazed down at him. �Okay, you�re to cute but I have to wake you up,� I thought to myself. As softly as I could, I climbed on the bed. I stood, deciding I would just jump on him. �Alexy,� I called out one last time. And still no response. �Okay, 1, 2, 3,� I told myself. I counted down and then I fell right on his stomach. �What the fuck?� AJ asked. I looked at him and he just gave me this evil look. �You know, you could wake me up better than this.� �I know. But I didn�t wan to. Come on AJ. It�s time to get up and get ready for a day of fun.� �Theresa, shut the fuck up.� I just glanced at him and nodded. I climbed off of him and off the bed. I walked over to the door and left. I walked back to my room. |
