Jeff was always mad whenever I talked to Howie, why, I�m not sure. Howie was just a friend. Hell, he was dating a mutual friend. Her name was Cindy. So, why he got jealous all the time is just beyond me. But he did. And just a few nights ago he told me I had to choose between my best friend and my boyfriend. Now, I�m sorry, but ain�t no guy worth your best friend. Howie and I had been through so much. He knew me better than my own mom knew me. I had told Howie every little thing about my life, and something�s that Jeff just didn�t understand. SO, when Jeff told me to choose, I straight up told Jeff, �bye�. Man, he was furious. He threatened to hurt me for this. I didn�t believe him, he wouldn�t do that. So, now, five days later, I�m sulking over him and our lost love. He messed up and I�m not going to forgive him. Who knows, maybe it was for the better that he left!� I laughed and turned off my computer. �Damn, my head can come up with some weird shit,� I thought to myself. It�s been a month since I lost saw him.� �So, you�re alone?� AJ asked. I just nodded my head. �Okay, I can handle this. Hmm, Howie come with me. She should be home around 12:00.� �But I miss my baby,� AJ whined. �Oh shut up already AJ,� I said, sitting down on the couch. �But I want her, here, now,� he said, sitting down on the chair. �AJ, I don�t want to hear this. I�m your sister for crying out loud. Don�t go tellin� me about you�re sex life!� �Oh, sorry,� he said, laughing. I threw a pillow at him and rolled my eyes. �Ya know, that�s why you have Howie bro. This is between you two,� Howie said. �Oh fuck you D,� AJ and I said at the same time. �Hey, leave D alone,� Megan said, stepping into the house. �BABY!� AJ said as he jumped off the chair and ran to give Megan a huge hug. �I missed you so much sweetie,� AJ said, giving her a deep kiss. �Ugh, go get a room you two,� I said. �Wanna watch TV?� I asked Howie, completely ignoring AJ and Megan. �Anything is better than watching and hearing those two.� I laughed and flicked on the TV. I tuned it out as I thought back on my past. I was with Dan for about two years. It was hard watching him up and leave. But I knew once he found out, he was going to. That�s the kind of guy he was. �Man, I�m always getting into the bad guys. I need a guy who is sweet, caring, charming, a guy a lot like Howie,� I thought to myself. I felt someone shove me and I and I looked up and saw AJ lookin� down at me. |
