I traced his six-pack and heard him sigh.  I locked eyes with him and he smiled.
What are you thinking about?  I smiled at him, his birthday gift coming to my mind.
Nothing Howie.
I can see the smirk on your face.  Whats up?
What do you want for your birthday?  His finger slid up and down my arm and sighed again.
I dont want anything, you know that.
Thats bull shit.  Would you want one of your fantasies to come true?  He quickly had an in take of breath.
Anyone?
Anyone you wanted.
You would do that?
Of course Howie, youre my man.
If thats the case, you know I would love that.
Ahh, I see.  I cant please you enough.  I smiled and he laughed.  His lips claimed mine in a soul searching kiss.  Good answer.

Hey girl.  Yeah, tomorrow at seven is the party.  You can just go upstairs and wait.  Yeah, Im sure the party wont be that long.  But, yeah, I have to go.  Yup, hes home.  See you tomorrow.  I hung up the phone just as Howie walked in.  Hey baby.
Hey, who was on the phone?
Terri.  Wanted to know what to get you.  I watched his eyes glaze over and quickly changed back.  Yup, the right girl, I told myself.
She doesnt have to get me anything.  He sat down next to me and I took him in.  His defined arms under his shirt.  His black jeans that was doing a poor job at covering him.
She wants to.  But, enough about that, what do you want to do tonight?
Good question.  Wanna go to the club?
Oh, well, Im not all to sure.
Please.  Well invite a few friends.  Like AJ, Brian and his girl, maybe Terri.  Once again, that look was there.  My heart skipped a beat.  Maybe this wasnt the best idea.
Sounds fun.  I smiled, but inside, already dreading the club.

Want anything to drink?
Um, a Sex On The Beach.  Howie smiled as he pulled out my chair.  He glanced at the little group, his eyes landing on Terri.  I sighed, moving slightly in my seat.
Would anyone like anything?  A order was coming and Terri offered to help out.
You know, he totally wants her.  I glanced at AJ and smirked.
Hes gonna have her.
What?
His birthday gift.  He could sleep with any one woman he chose too.  Could have her all night, if he wanted.
Wow.  I would love to have that kind of gift.  But, you know youre taking a chance, right?
I have a feeling.
But, you know youre gonna lose that man.
Thats the whole point.  My feelings have no matter in this.
But they do.
No, Alex, they dont.  Hes the one whos special tomorrow.  Its about making him feel special.
I see.  You could be making the biggest
Stop, now.  I glared at him, not wanting to hear anymore.  Like I didnt know he could fall in love.  Or like he could leave me.  Those were endless possibilities.  And since I asked him, those evil thoughts have been there.

Youre quiet.
Just thinking.
I love the watch baby.
Theres more to come.  His arms snaked themselves around my waist and I sighed.
You dont have to get me anything else.  The party, the watch, the love, that was all more than enough.  I turned in his embrace and looked at him.
No, this, youll love, I promise.  I gave him a quick kiss and smiled.  But we have guests to tend to.
Let them stay there.  I love holding you like this.
Truly?
Of course.  His lips softly brushed mine before taking them by such a force.  His tongue snaked out, tracing my lips, seeking permission and getting it.  His tongue caressed mine and I leaned more into his body, trying to fit against him, but other people had other thoughts.
Sorry to intrude on this party, but that dancin is inside, not out here, AJ said.  I could have killed him that moment, but let it go.  Howie smirked and winked at me.  We walked back in.

We bid our guests goodbye, happy they were gone.
Did Terri leave?  I seethed at the name, yet knew I shouldnt.
She wanted to say bye, but she had something to do.  She left rather early.
Oh, well, I think Im hitting the bed, you coming?  I only smiled and grabbed his hand.  He wanted to speak but I softly placed my finger on his lips.  I walked upstairs, him following me.  I walked into the bedroom and he gasped.  Around the room were candles, softly glowing and casting a soft aroma.  You could hear soft, yet romantic, music playing.
Howie, I have the last gift for you.  His eyes bore into mine, yet, his eyes werent cloudy, like how I knew they would be in just a second.  Terri.  His eyes opened wide and his mouth dropped open and she walked out of the shadows.
Happy birthday Howie.
Whawhats going on?
You wanted her, so have her.  My gift to you.  He looked at me and than looked at her.  His brown eyes took in the long hair, the lovely face, the red satin gown that clung to every curve.  His eyes glazed over and I knew I lost him.
I got a call asking to be your gift, would you still like it?  He walked over to her, slowly touching her cheek, caressing it with his knuckles.
I want it, very badly.  His lips brushed hers and I heard her sigh.  I walked in the shadows, heading towards the door and softly left the two alone.  Once outside the door, I took a steadying breath.  This was not easy.
