Meg, do you want to go to the club tonight?"
"I don't care.   Do you want to take some guys?"
"No, let's go solo. I'm sure that there are going to be some hot guys out tonight."
"Okay, if you say so. Who's going to watch the kids?"
"Umm, I think that we can find a sitter. I'll look in the phone book."
"Okay."
"Come on, Megan. Live it up, girl. It's the last day of the Millennium. Girl, I know you like to party."
I know.  Just a little worried about the kids.
Dont worry.  Theyre be fine, Theresa told Megan.  Megan and Theresa have been friends since they were little kids.  They decided on moving to Orlando and were hoping for a new start.  It was New Year's Eve 1999. The end of the Millennium, and the turning point in many peoples lives.
As Theresa and Megan got ready for their big night out, they turned on the radio. The song Everybody: Backstreets Back by the Backstreet Boys was on, Megan turned the radio up full blast and started goofing around. Theresa put on a tight black mini skirt with a red-spaghetti strap shirt, and Megan put on a short black-spaghetti strap dress. Theresa got her kids ready for the baby-sitters as Megan turned off the radio and went out to the car.
Theresa had gotten pregnant at the age of 18. It was a mistake, that happened and she never talked about who the father was or even what happened that night.  Though, many of her friends do believe that something wasnt right that night.  And the only thing she ever told Megan was that her and the kids father were drunk.  She gave birth to the set of twins six years ago. She named them Justin Alexander and Savanna Rose. They are the two cutest kids Megan had ever seen.
Theresa came out, and got everyone situated in the car, and gave Megan directions to the baby-sitters. It wasn't too far from their house. Theresa was getting Savanna out of the car as Megan got Justin. They both gave Megan a hug before Theresa took them up the house. Theresa was there for about 10 minutes, and Theresa finally came out.
"What took you so long?"
"They didn't want to stay. They didn't remember this sitter."
"Poor kids, I think that it's hard for them living without a father," Megan said.
"Yeah, I know. Let's just forget about it and let's party tonight."
"Alright, which club?"
"That's a stupid question. Sheek of course."
"Alright."
We were there in 10 minutes. Sheek is a small club, but it's pretty cool. Their favorite anyways simply because there are always new faces. Tonight there should be plenty of them.
Theresa led the way in. The bouncer was a friend of Megans. Once they actually dated, but they decided that theyd be better off as friends, it was a mutual agreement. Anyways Theresa went to a booth in the back corner. They sat down and ordered two Martini's.
Do you see any good looking guys yet?" Megan asked.
"A few when we first walked in. I only saw them from behind though," Theresa answered.
"Yeah, I think that the two in that booth over there don't look too bad. I can only see the one in the sunglasses though."
"Those were the two that I was talking about."
"I'm going to go dance. I love this song," Megan told Theresa
The song was Get Down by the BSB. Theresa liked this song a lot too. So they both went out on the dance floor and started dancing.  One of the guys came out on the dance floor too.
"Can I have this dance?" the guy in the sunglasses asked Megan as he took of his glasses.  Megan just gasped at what she saw.  She was looking into those beautiful brown eyes.  Ones you got lost in.  By the way, my name is Alexander James..
But all your friends call you AJ.  Yes, I know, Mr.McLean.
Um, well,..
Dont worry AJ. Im not going to do anything.  But I do know who you are.
Thanks.  Anyway, care to dance?
I suppose.  Theresa just watched as Megan walked away with that guy.  Theresa was shocked to see who it was and wondering where his friend went.  But she stopped looking when she heard someone calling out her name.  She looked behind her to see her boss, Linda, calling out to her.  She walked over and said hi.
Hey Theresa.  Look, I need you to do me a favor.  See, Rachel called in sick tonight and I was wondering if you could work.  I know you probably dont want to, but Ill let you leave in like two hours.  Theresa looked down at her watch and saw it was pushing 11:00.  Damn, she thought.  I dont want to work but thats extra money Ill pick up.
Fine, Theresa said.
Okay.  Well, do you want to change.  I have a uniform in the back.
Fine.  Theresa followed Linda to the back and changed.  Then she walked out.  She grabbed a pen and a little notebook. She walked over to Megans table.  Hey girl.  How are you doing?
Theresa, whats going on?
Rachel called in sick and Linda asked if I could work tonight.  I get off in like two hours, so I can still party.
Okay.  Did you see who was here by the way? Megan asked.
Of course.  AJ McLean.  Hey, theres someone at that booth.  Ill talk to you later.  Theresa walked over to the table and looked at the two men.  Can I take your order? she asked.
Theresa?
Alex?
Oh my, yeah, I would like a Seven & Seven.  Jessie here would like a Tequila Sunrise.  She scribbled it down and started walking away.  Theresa?  She turned around and saw Alex walking behind her.
Yes Alex?
How are you doing?
Im going okay.  So is Savanna and Justin.
Yeah, I was wondering about that.
Dont worry.  Thats really none of your concern anymore.  Look, I really would love to stay and chat but I need to go and get this.  Later.
Okay.  She turned and walked away.  She glanced back and saw Jessie hitting on some girl but Alex kept checking her out.  She just looked away when they made eye contact.  Saul gave her the drinks and she smiled at him.  She walked back over to the table and set the drinks down.  Hey, think you can spare a dance? Alex asked.
Sorry, I cant.  Im working.  With that she walked away.
Hey Theresa?  She looked at the door and saw David asking her to come over there.
