The Arnada Cafe is located on the corner of Broadway and 18th in Vancouver, WA. This is your classic Rock and Roll dive - I love this place! The tables here give tribute to some of Rock's greatest! Jim Morrison... Jimi Hendrix... and so forth. Arnada's walls ooze with character, and remind you of that small bar you used to go to every weekend to see your favorite band before they made it big. The service is extremely pleasant and friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. The sound system is great - and there's someone to monitor the levels for a good mix. During the week you can drop a cover charge and see live Rock and Roll bands. But on Wednesday night it's a Songwriter's Showcase, hosted by the Arnada's own Miguel. It's strictly Acoustic sets of three to four songs. If time permits, you can sign up again to perform at the end of the evening. Sign-ups begin at 8:00pm and the music starts around 9:30 - 10:00pm.
