| In all these years and through the different flavors and aromas of the foods, I discovered that from them the identity of each people emerges. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| En todos estos a�os y a trav�s de los diferentes sabores y olores de las comidas, descubr� que de ellos se desprende la identidad de cada pueblo. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Esto aunado a mi amor por la cocina, despert� en m�, un inter�s para obtener conocimiento acerca de su arte. Para ello tuve la necesidad de ir adquiriendo informaci�n de la cual hice una colecci�n de m�s de 600 libros culinarios. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This combined with my love for cooking, awoke an interest in me to obtain knoledge about its art. For this I had the need of aquiring information of which I made a collection of more that 600 culinary books. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| My absence fron my beloved Costa Rica during long periods of time, made me look in my visits to the country for the flavor and aroma of our tipical food. This motivated in me a desire and compromise to rescue our culinary art. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mi ausencia de mi querida Costa Rica, durante per�odos prolongados, hizo que en mis visitas al pa�s buscara el olor y sabor de nuestra comida t�pica. Esto motiv� en m� el deseo y compromiso de rescatar nuestro arte culinario. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| De ah� que me di a la tarea de hacer realidad un restaurante por medio del cual el visitante nacional o extranjero descubriera nuestro pasado cultural y se sintiera orgulloso de �ste. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Hence I gave myself the chore to make a reality a restaurant throgh which the national o foreign visitor could discover our cultural past and would feel proud of it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Con ello quiero despertar en nuevas generaciones un inter�s real por valorar el legado de nuestros abuelos. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
