| hailing from eaton ohio, last years hero is ready to break out. coming from a town that's really only known for one thing, the "preble county pork festival" it's easy to see why they want to make something happen. forming in the late summer of 2000, they've come a long way from the first songs they've originally written. crunching guitar riffs and heart felt vocals make for a perfect combination. from singing their heart out to screaming their loss, emotion is what this band is all about. last years hero consists of justin kreitzer/vocals&drums, josh hauser/guitar, jeremy hauser/bass and shawn mccoy/guitar and vocals. their live show is definitely one that needs to be seen to believe. you would think that by the end of the set, their legs would fall off, but they keep going. bands like "Thursday", "The Used" and "Thrice" would be who they liken themselves to. so if you're into "emo/screamo" style music, come out and check them out. also check out their first demo "only this far", with the songs "i wrote i love you on your trapper keeper", "remember the alamo", "two cakes" and "pauper's heart" all on it. this is their first "real" recording, and hopefully not their last. so if you're out and about, come check this band out. |
