i've made it
to the architecture building through the cold rain and wind that
wouldn't let me open my umbrella. i am sitting across from this
couple, i have seen her befor, but never him. she is very pretty and
has the cutest little voice. it's quite amazing really. they are
talking and flirting to each other. it is really quite discusting, i
would give anything to be there. she is truely "lovey" he
acts like he would rather be making out or something but is going
along with the flirtting. i love her voice! only problem.. they are
talking about absolutely nothing. i want to find a girl that i can
talk to that is deep. can talk about interesting things and inspires
me to interesting things and thoughts, that i can talk to for hours
at a time and not notice, but not because we are being cute, but
because some deep philosophical or theological discussion is being
had. today imagined sitting with my wife, at our older ages (50 up)
reading. in silence, watching each other read. in a library/reading
room in our house. with minimal techonology, very sherlock homelsy.
walls covered with books, a writing table, two chairs, and one of
those globes, the big ones! with an office with computer and stuff
off of it, but this room would be void of that kind of stuff. it will
inspire discussion, thinking, reading, and staring into each others
eyes. connection!
