..stereotypes..

**********

Don't get me wrong, I am laughing the whole time I am writing this. But for some reason I have noticed on t.v. that guys are often portrayed as being afraid of commitment. But I have been talking to several guys today, and they had all been recently dumped by their girl friends, this was in my math class, so don't think that all these guys were together in a club for guys who just got dumped, but they were talking about how they had been talking about a commitment with their girl friends, and the g.f got scared and left them, so how come guys are always portrayed to be the ones afraid of commitment, I am just wondering, you may see this differently, and why are stereotypes like this formed, for real, now I am not prefect and I find myself stereotyping people often, but is there a point in doing this, I think so, it makes life easier to grasp, people create stereotypes to make life easier, in that, if you don't understand something, but you see a pattern, then stereotype it so that you can now grasp realty better, maybe I am just an idiot, you can send you opinions to me
