Some time ago a message was left on my guest book that trashed some deep elm bands.. I assume the ones being ridiculed were the appleseed cast and brandston, I have some things to say about these bands and the label deep elm... Personally I LOVE the appleseed cast and brandston&ldots; musically both bands are great&ldots; I am way in to emo and emo.core, the emotion these bands bring to music and the testimony of their hard hitting and personal lyrics moves me. And if you look at the backgrounds of these two bands you can truly appreciate them&ldots; brandston comes from the remainder of six feet deep&ldots; one of the hardest bands I have ever heard, and the front man for appleseed cast is recently saved and out of drug rehab. And has had no exposure to the music scene in quite some time, anyways&ldots; I assume you get the point about that&ldots; and deep elm is doing some great things for the emo scene&ldots; you may hate them as many people do&ldots; but I want you to find a record label with a better quality of production and musicians on it&ldots; and it is CHEAP haha... You may not love their music.. and for all I care, you can hate it, just don't trash it on my page.. I post those bands that I am listening to so that people can see what is good out there.. thanx for listening <>cliftonstuckey<>
