She always sat there uninterested in what I was doing. Not wanting to be bothered with voicing her opinion on anything that had to do with my musical creations. A slight nod would be all that woman would give up, when asked if she liked my latest song. A painfully short "It sounds fine," if I was really lucky.

As I labored day and night to find a melody that would please her, she became less and less interested. I would make up problems I was having with vocals, in the hopes that she would hum or sing along with me and maybe get more involved with the music. All of this was to no avail.

Now heart, was still on a mission to involve her in music so she could let her creative spirit fly. But every effort I made was met with an equal if not larger negative response. I was desperate!

My last attempt to have her give her honest opinion however was a turning point in my musical highway! I had come out of the studio all proud of some new music tracks I had just laid down. A new song with out a title or lyrics. What a perfect time to involve her, right at the ground floor level where she can see how her talent can soar like it was meant to.

"Honey" I said. "Please listen to these new tracks and help me find a title and some lyrics for them." She put down her book and smiled. Wow she's picking at her nails. That means she will actually listen to the song! After the composition played, she picked up her book and without a word continued to read. " Well honey." I meekly said. "What do you think I should call it?"  She picked at her teeth with her little finger and looked almost as if she was actually thinking about a title for my song. "Yes dear'" I said. She smirked and said "I don't care."     "Call it what you will."

Thanks Hun!

CALL IT WHAT YOU WILL

You could call it fate, see it written on the wall
You could call it destiny and have yourself a ball
Call it a catastrophe, if that fits the bill
You can call it anything you want, Call it what you will
Call it what you will, call it what you will

You could call it charity and never see a dime
Call it goodwill cause it happens all the time
You could call David Letterman, send someone else the bill
Hey ET called home, so call it what you will, call it what you will

You could call it magic, like it came from a top hat
call it tragic, a gone wrong high wire act
You could call it sanity, if it keeps you off the pills
Call it anything you want, call it what you will
Call it what you will, call it what you will
