To make this world a better place…

I want to make this world

A better place to live,

As story of one wise man told,

We have to learn to give.

Can people learn to share?

Can they preserve a delicate peace?

Can they forget of warfare?

Can they come back to days of ancient Greece?

If men can honor women, children,

If truth can be worth more, than grudge,

If we’ll grow our own gardens of Eden,

Light will prevail darkness, and this won’t take that much.

All that it will take to grow this and create

Is our honor, trust, love and readiness to help.

We must, then, join hands and take control of our fate.

We must think of others first, to light for others lamp.

To think about it, we can live sharing, even give,

For that, though, we have to learn how to forgive.

We’re only humans, you remember that!

And we can only win uniting our strength in single common net.
