VS. Ray Lopes, Doc Holloway, Nicholas "Vacant" Perry,
Trent Steel, Greg Jackson
In A: Pool Of Blood Match
For The: #1 Contendership to the OWF Tag Team Championship
On: 11 August 2013, OWF Blood Bath 2013

From the look at the updated schedule we fade back inside of Madison Square Garden; and the ringside area has been completely changed. The platform that hung in the rafters is now just feet above the floor, covering the plexiglass pools of blood surrounding ringside. The commentary table has been lifted up and moved back, along with the guardrails, about twenty feet away from the pools for safety. The crowd, the commentators and presumably everyone at home is silent as they become aware of the severity of the next contest.

Missy Janson - Fans, it is time for the OWF POOL OF BLOOD MATCH!

An ovation unrivaled so far during this show, even in it's infacy, sets the atmosphere for what is to come.

Nick Burst - Fuck, I'm not drunk enough to call this match right now.

Bobby Shavonie - And I don't know if I have the stomach to.

Nick Burst - Shit! We're unprepared! Missy, stall them!!

Missy Janson - Six men will fight it out on that platform, attempting to avoid being eliminated by being tossed into the pools of blood and trying to become one of the last two men remaining on top; thus earning a shot at the OWF Tag Team Championship in September at OWF Rise or Fall in Philadephia, Pennsylvania on September 15th!

A mixed reaction comes with the mention of Philly in NYC; but ends up turning into a positive one as the stakes are obviously high.

Missy Janson - For this match we have abandoned formal introductions in favor of listing the men who will compete so they can get onto the platform and we can have it raised into position. Coming out first... THE JACKRABBIT!

No music hits, only The Jackrabbit emerges from the back to a mild response from the crowd.

Nick Burst - This guy has a chance to make a big impact here.

Bobby Shavonie - That's true. Some people think this match is only for a shot at the OWF Tag Team Champions at our next PPV; but in reality, this one could steal the show.

He walks down the ramp, as Missy's voice is heard over the speakers again.

Missy Janson - The second entrant... from Los Angeles, California... RAY LOPES!

Just as The Jackrabbit climbs up to stand on the platform, Ray Lopes steps through the curtains drawing a bit of attention for himself.

Bobby Shavonie - Correct me if I am wrong, but this is the sixth match for Ray Lopes in the OWF; meaning his contract is up after this one.

Nick Burst - Yep, you're right. And if you were disappointed by him in week's past, you have to be aware of that fact if you have hopes of him actually impressing in the ring.

Bobby Shavonie - I don't know of a better wake up call than the Pool of Blood match.

Heading down the aisle way Ray Lopes seems apprehensive of getting onto the platform, but the camera cuts away from him before he can.

Missy Janson - Following him... from Tombstone, Arizona... DOC HOLLOWAY!

Starting out with a nice response Doc Holloway comes out to a warm reception, as the crowd has become of his presence in the OWF.

Nick Burst - This guy is my darkhorse pick to win this match. He's been rather impressive in the ring, and I think he can make waves given this opportunity.

Bobby Shavonie - But this being his first Pool of Blood match, you have to wonder if he's ready to step up to the plate.

Nick Burst - If you join the OWF, you have to be ready to test your limits the second you sign that fucking contract.

Ray Lopes is now on the platform, taking up the side opposite of The Jackrabbit until Doc Holloway ascends the steel ring steps and joins the two men he will call opponents in mere moments.

Missy Janson - Up next... from Brantford, Ontario, Canada... Making his return to the OWF... NICHOLAS PERRY!

The crowd makes a lot of noise for Nick Perry, the man formerly known as Vacant, as he shows his masked face for the first time to these fans in years. Walking down the ramp he adjusts his wrist tape, keeping his eyes set ahead of him at all times.

Bobby Shavonie - Great to see Nick Perry back in action, even if it was under nefarious means.

Nick Burst - If he signed his life away to the OWF, that's his fault. Whoever pointed that out to President Chase Johnson is a snitch, but legal documents are a bitch.

Holloway, Jackrabbit and Lopes are all on the platform, testing out it's strengths and weaknesses as Nick makes his way up as well by climbing the steel ring steps set up on the outside.

Bobby Shavonie - At least Greg Jackson has his back.

Nick Burst - If he shows his face.

Missy Janson - Entering next... from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania... TRENT STEEL!

The mentioning of Trent's name gets the crowd amped up for his appearance; even if he looks dimure and out of it as he reveals himself to the fans. He heads down the ramp not looking much like the Trent Steel we have come to know.

Bobby Shavonie - Something is up with Trent.

Nick Burst - Haven't you been paying attention, at all? Ataxia and Dude Job have turned their backs on him, and he's here all by himself.

Bobby Shavonie - That would make him pretty dangerous, wouldn't it?

Nick Burst - His opponent's are about to find out, Bobby.

Steel gets to ringside and eyes up the four men already on the platform for the first time since he came out, before joining them. It's only now that the five men focus on one another, and not their surroundings.

Missy Janson - And the last man in the Pool of Blood Match... from Los Angeles, California... GREG JACKSON!

An explosion of cheers erupt from the crowd here in New York as soon as they see Greg Jackson appear from the back.

Bobby Shavonie - He's here!

Nick Burst - Of course he is... The second you go back on your word with Zack Perry, you'll never be the same. Greg's got enough to deal with, so of course he would show up.

His eyes are lit up with a fire seen only before in his match with Redemption at Determined. Everyone on the platform is turned to watch Greg progress down to ringside.

Nick Burst - Now I just worry about the men opposing him, and their well being.

Bobby Shavonie - Except for Nicholas Perry; Greg was about to quit, and most likely would have, if he didn't have to repay the favor to Zack by watching his son's back.

Nick Burst - A little selfish of Zack to put Greg in an emotional place like this.

Bobby Shavonie - Also inappropriate for CJ to book Greg, at all.

Nick Burst - Good point.

With every entrant on the platform it is slowly lifted up by a pulley system, raising it to a height of fifteen feet above the floor. Every fan who paid to get into the arena is on their feet, and they explode as the bell rings.

OWF TAG TEAM TITLE CONTENDERSHIP
POOL OF BLOOD MATCH
(This match will take play on a plexiglass platform, the size of an OWF ring, hung fifteen feet above the arena floor. Under this set up, where a ring would normally be, open containers filled with blood, pig guts and various entrails of deceased animals are situated. The object of this match is to throw your opponents off the platform into the "Pools of Blood". The last two men remaining on the platform will receive a shot at the OWF Tag Team Titles at the September Pay Per View; Rise or Fall!)

DOC HOLLOWAY

RAY LOPES

NICHOLAS PERRY

THE JACKRABBIT

TRENT STEEL

GREG JACKSON

(Ding, Ding, Ding...)

The bell sounds, the crowd gets loud; but before anything can happen the arena fills with chaotic laughter and all eyes are drawn towards the lone figure quickly gliding towards the platform above them.

Nick Burst - OH WHAT THE FUCK!

The laughter grows louder as the figure, propelled by gravity down a zip line, approaches the platform. Ataxia releases the safety latch and flies towards Trent Steel, spearing him down to the platform.

Nick Burst - JESUS CHRIST! IT'S ATAXIA!

Bobby Shavonie - How did he have a zipline?!

Nick Burst - HE FUCKING USED THE SUSPENSION CABLES OF THE PLATFORM.

The other men in the match quickly huddle around Ataxia, but Ataxia points up and laughs some more. Silence is seen approaching the platform on another zip line from the opposite direction. He releases the safety latch and drops down on top of Ray Lopes with a thunderous double axe handle.

Bobby Shavonie - Why are Silence and Ataxia getting involved in the Pool of Blood!

Nick Burst - The bigger question is, why the fuck did they choose now to get involved?

Ataxia wastes no time in using the distraction to grab Doc Holloway and plant Doc’s face into the platform with a high impact DDT. Silence moves quickly to dispatch the Jackrabbit with a vicious reverse STO. Greg Jackson immediately puts himself between Nick Perry and the team of Ataxia and Silence. Silence motions for Greg to move, but Jackson shakes his head and stands his ground. Silence shrugs and Ataxia charges in. Greg goes down as Ataxia lands on top of him with a Lou Thesz press. Ataxia wastes no time and rapidly strikes Jackson with a flurry of punches. Nick Perry steps towards Ataxia with the intent to help Jackson, but Silence cuts him off. Nick attempts to kick Silence in the head, but Silence catches Nick's leg and easily scoops Perry up into a power bomb position. Silence holds Nick up for a few seconds, says something to Nick, then drives Perry down hard onto the platform. Silence and Ataxia get up and look around at the destruction they have caused. Silence nods towards the back and both men make their way to the edge of the platform. Ataxia laughs gleefully as he leaps of the edge and falls into the pool of blood below while Silence simply steps off the ledge.

Bobby Shavonie - And just like that, they're leaving?!

They emerge out of the pool completely covered in gore, looking like the villains from some horror film. As they walk up the ramp towards the back, Ataxia laughs and the light reflects off of Silence’s dead eye as he speaks to the camera.

Silence - The Desecration has begun.

Nick Burst - Yeah fuck you buddy, get out of here.

As we focus back on the platform, every single combatant has been taken down a peg or two; without formally laying a hand on one another.

Bobby Shavonie - Settle down Nick, this match has barely even started.

Nick Burst - Are you serious? These two fuckers just took out the whole field.

Bobby Shavonie - But they are all back on their feet.

Nick Burst - And their worse off than they were before the bell rang.

Bobby Shavonie - Isn't that the point?

Nick Burst - Shut the fuck up and call the match.

Ray Lopes takes action and goes after Doc Holloway from behind, clubbing him until he is down on all fours; then transitions into stomps to his back, trying to keep him down on the platform. A few feet away Greg Jackson helps Nicholas Perry back to his feet, but has to contend with Trent Steel. The Jackrabbit, on the other hand, is desperately trying to keep himself away from the edges of the platform; looking rather scared. Jackson and Steel comes to blows, trading rights and lefts, and casually Nicholas moves towards The Jackrabbit as they are the only two left without a partner. Jackson sees this and hip tosses Trent to the ground, then comes up behind The Jackrabbit and spins him around so he eats a right hand. Back on the otherside of the platform Lopes is doing his best to keep Holloway down, but the sheer power of the big man is too much for Ray to contend with. Doc gets to his feet and shoves Ray upon his chest, bringing him dangerously close to the edge of the platform. His arms flail but Ray is able to balance himself in time to dive forward at the legs of Doc, bringing him back down to his back with a double leg takedown. As they struggle to get an advantage over one another Nicholas moves on to Trent Steel, who smiles at the sight of his former adversary. Playing bodyguard once again Jackson leaves The Jackrabbit to deal with his own fears, and gets in between Steel and Perry; and a flustered Nicholas turns around, dashes forward, and dropkicks The Jackrabbit right across his face. Steel points behind Jackson motioning for him to look and when he does he is grabbed from behind and planted with a release german suplex; shaking the entire platform upon Greg's impact. Getting back to his feet Steel keeps his head on a swivel and moves over to Lopes and Holloway, prying Ray up to his feet to crack him with a european uppercut. As soon as Holloway gets back to his feet he too is met with a european uppercut from Steel, who seems to be firing on all cylinders as he clobbers Ray Lopes with a right haymaker that brings him down to his rear. Turning on the balls of his feet to face Doc Holloway, Trent is scooped up into the air by Holloway and driven down upon his back with a vicious spinebuster. A few feet away The Jackrabbit is absorbing a lot of punishment from Nick Perry, as he just hasn't gotten over his fear of heights yet and has fallen into being easy prey. Perry soon grows bored and staggers around right into a single-handed choke hold from Doc Holloway. As soon as Holloway secures a hold of Perry he sees Greg getting up to his feet and pushes Nick away, choosing to go back on the attack against Ray Lopes who has just gotten back to his feet. Ray absorbs a lifting knee strike from Doc, followed by an elbow strike to the back of the head; but shrugs them off as he stands upright and headbutts Holloway right upon his mouth. Lopes looks at rush at Holloway but has his foot grabbed by Trent Steel, stopping his progress and leaving Doc alone in the middle of the platform. Finally feeling safe enough with the location of one of his opponents, The Jackrabbit gets to his feet and runs forward; taking Holloway's hair into his right hand and driving his face straight down into the plexiglass under their feet. The facebuster is good enough to get The Jackrabbit some offense and he turns to pummel anything that is standing, which just so happens to be Nicholas Perry. What he doesn't see is Greg Jackson on the war path headed right for him; spearing him down to the ground and mounting him to unleash a flurry of rapid punches to the face. Totally consumed with anger Jackson stays on top of Jackrabbit, forgetting about Nick who bumps into Ray Lopes and Trent Steel. He lands a kick to the back of Ray's right leg, then takes a knife edge chop to the chest from Steel. Now it's Lopes' turn to attack, forearming Perry across the face; before absorbing a toe kick to the gut from Steel. A second kick finds its mark on Ray's abdomen from Trent, opening him up for a lunging uppercut from Nicholas Perry that catches Trent blind and sends him stumbling dangerous close to the edge. Perry moves in to try to eliminate Trent but is grabbed in a reverse waist lock by Lopes, as the two struggle for position. Finally recovered Doc Holloway approaches Greg Jackson and The Jackrabbit, tossing Jackson aside so that he can begin kicking at the prone Jackrabbit. When he feels content with the amount of pain caused Doc places his right foot on the rib cage of The Jackrabbit and tries rolling him towards the edge. The first thing that comes to Greg's mind is to go after Doc after being insulted but sees Nick at a disadvantage with Lopes, and moves in that direction. He doesn't make it there in time as Ray executes a textbook back body drop, curling Nick up into a ball following the high impact move. Jackson doesn't even give Lopes a second to get back to his feet before he begins is attack, firing furious kicks from various angles with the intentions of doing damage. It works but Jackson loses himself in the monotony of these actions, and doesn't even see Trent Steel sneaking up from behind. He ensnares Jackson's head and falls backwards, completing a falling neckbreaker that takes Jackson out of the equation for the time being. Steel gets back to his feet and looks around for anyone standing that he can attack, and the nearest opponent to him is Doc Holloway. His back is turned to Trent so he has no idea the whipping roundhouse kick is coming, catching him upon the base of his skull. Being so close to the edge of the platform, and standing over The Jackrabbit, Holloway is nearly sent flipping down into the vats of blood below but stabilizes himself before the risk gets too high. Having no concern over who was behind it Doc throws his extended right arm backwards, catching Trent across the right side of his face with a standing backfist.

At about the same instant Ray Lopes and Nicholas Perry get up to their feet and pick up where they left off earlier, this time engaging in a collar and elbow tie-up. Ray's strength gives him the advantage as he forces Perry down to a knee, but Nicholas' awareness gives him an edge in escaping. He dips around behind Ray and stands to his feet; using the balls of them to jump high into the air into a seat on Lopes' shoulders. Twisting around Nicholas performs the spinning hurricanrana and flips Ray Lopes down upon the platform where he comes to a sliding stop on his back with his feet dangling over the edge. By this time The Jackrabbit has removed himself from the threat of elimination and is standing back, looking to pick his spots. His opportunity comes as Greg Jackson stumbles up to his feet and walks towards Jackrabbit, receiving a boot to the stomach for his troubles. The Jackrabbit bends Jackson over, butterflies his arms behind his back, and shows his ability by hitting a double underhook suplex; flipping Greg over onto his back dead center in the middle of the platform. Doc Holloway has Trent Steel down on a knee, pounding away at his skull but Steel doesn't seem to mind much; almost egging him on to do so; so Doc obliges, thrusting his right knee cap into Steel's face, finally bringing him down to all fours. He doesn't allow Trent to remain there long as Doc reaches down with both hands and grabs Steel around his head, leading him up to his feet. Scooping Steel up over his shoulder it looks like Holloway is preparing for a front powerslam; but he could also have intentions of tossing Trent Steel off the platform like this. He never gets the chance as Nicholas Perry comes from behind and chop blocks him upon his right knee, causing him to not only lose his balance; but control of Steel as the two men topple down to the platform in a heap. After this Nicholas stands up and regroups with Greg Jackson, checking to make sure he is alright when he is assaulted from behind by a returning Ray Lopes who clubs him with a running forearm. Jackson sees this and grabs Ray by his right arm, tugs him forward, and levels him with a shortarmed clothesline.

Bobby Shavonie - This action is so fast paced, I can't even come up with anything to say!

Nick Burst - Well you would if someone had an advantage, but right now it seems like everyone is pretty even.

Bobby Shavonie - You're right, no one has really taken control yet.

Nick Burst - And that's because these fuckers are scared of losing. It's natural. Nobody wants to be eliminated, and especially not by taking a fifteen foot fall into pools of blood and guts.

Bobby Shavonie - I believe we will see some people try to take control now that the match has gotten into a groove.

Nick Burst - Don't be surprised if they all play a defensive game throughout. It's what I'd do if I was stupid enough to get up onto that platform like these six.

Jackson turns around and sees The Jackrabbit, and hasn't forgotten the suplex he was handed out and Greg approaches. Getting near the edge The Jackrabbit holds his ground and fires a right hand at Greg, which is blocked by Jackson's left arm. He grabs Jackrabbit in a front face lock and moves him out into the center of the platform but encounters resistance in the form of short right hands to the ribcage, eventually causing Greg Jackson to release The Jackrabbit. All tied up in a series of counters there is nothing Greg can do to stop Trent Steel from clotheslining Nicholas Perry across the back of his head; knocking him face-first down into the plexiglass platform. Since everyone else is occupied Doc Holloway and moves in and grabs Ray Lopes by the head and brings him towards the edge of the platform; trying to eliminate him from the match. Holding onto anything he can get his hands on Ray does his best to avoid the fall and is only doing so well in preventing it because of the combination of his upper body strength and his body weight. Seeing that Lopes is fighting more than he expected Doc gives up his hopes of getting rid of one of the competitors in the match and turns his sights to dealing out damage. A double axe handle smash to the back of the head knocks Ray loopy for a second and the best idea would be to stay on Ray, but instead Doc Holloway goes back to trying to eliminate him. It goes just about as smoothly as the first attempt, except this time it ends with Lopes shoving Holloway back towards the center of the platform. He bumps back with Trent Steel, who has been standing over Nick Perry waiting for him to return to his feet. The two men turn around and exchange blows immediately, neither of the two looking to back down. Even with his size advantage Holloway has a hard time keeping up with the speed and intensity of Steel's strikes. Still the two men do their best to weaken one another and it seems to be working as the time between strikes rapidly increases. In the lull between the third strike from Steel and before Doc's fourth both men are attacked from behind; Nicholas with a leaping leg lariat to the back of Steel's head, and Ray Lopes with a running elbow strike to the base of Doc's skull. With those four out of the picture for the time being the cameras focus in on Greg Jackson and The Jackrabbit who have been entangled all this time, trying to get the edge over the other; when finally it comes with a headlock takedown by Jackrabbit. That hold is countered rather quickly by a headscissor lock applied by Greg Jackson, wrapping his legs around the neck of Jackrabbit as they lay on the platform but he quickly kicks himself free from it. The two men roll up to their feet and meet each other with dueling right hands that impact each other's faces at the same second, dazing both men and giving the anxious fans a break in the action to scream at the top of their lungs to show their appreciation. Snapping out of his funk first The Jackrabbit blinding rushes forward at Greg Jackson, who sidesteps him thus showing Jackrabbit off the edge of the platform. He falls but at the last second catches both hands on the edge of the platform, and fear motivates him to climb back up to join the other five competitors as quick as possible. So phased by that scare he turns his back to Greg who steps in behind Jackrabbit to grab him in a rear chin lock, using it to stand him back up to his feet. With both arms The Jackrabbit reaches up and grabs Greg around the back of his head and sits out, dealing him a chinbreaker that brings the jaw of Jackson down upon the crown of The Jackrabbit's skull. Just feet away Nicholas Perry has brought Trent Steel up to his feet; along with Ray Lopes making sure Doc Holloway is steady on his own two feet. Nick lunges forward looking for a forearm but Steel ducks under the attempt, causing Perry to crack Doc Holloway right between his shoulder blades. This gives Ray Lopes a chance to deck Holloway with a shoulder charge, while Steel wraps Nick up from behind in a reverse waist lock. Doing his best to break free Perry has no choice but to go with Trent's plan as he is suplexed over Steel's head; and performs a beautiful standing backflip that lands him a few feet away from the edge of the platform. Returning to his feet Trent looks to go back after Nicholas but is stopped by Ray Lopes, and his hooking right hand that catches him right between his eyes. Dropping to his knees it looks like Steel is at the mercy of Ray Lopes until The Jackrabbit sneak attacks Lopes from behind, laying him out with a double arm clothesline across the back of the head and neck. Ready to return to action Greg Jackson stands up to his feet and survey's the situation, seeing Nick nail a running knee strike to the back of Trent's head relieves him of his duties for now; so he approaches a now-crouching Doc Holloway and grabs him around the head. Doc easily breaks the grasp and stands up to his feet, not looking to engage with Greg for some reason and shuffling away from him.

Nick Burst - Why the fuck did he let him go? Looks like Doc's got a case of indigestion or something.

Bobby Shavonie - That's not indigestion, Nick. I know you're not an expert, but I'd say that's human emotion. It almost looks like something's eating at Doc.

Nick Burst - He better get over that if he wants to be in with any chance of winning this thing.

With Doc Holloway moving away from Greg, he looks at Nicholas again; to see the tide has turned with Trent Steel. It is now Nick who is at risk of being eliminated as Trent has already lifted him up into a crucifix powerbomb nearing the edge of the platform. Jackson rushes towards them and pulls Perry harshly down to the platform and as Steel turns around he is met with a superkick from Greg. He staggers dangerously close to the edge; but ultimately gets knocked off with a cartwheel kick to the face from Nicholas Perry.

Bobby Shavonie - OH GOOOOOD!

Trent splashes into one of the pools of blood, face down in it, and has to be grabbed by officials at ringside to get him out.

Missy Janson - TRENT STEEL has been eliminated!

Nick Burst - And we have our first elimiination! The duo of Nicholas Perry and Greg Jackson get rid of Trent Steel.

Bobby Shavonie - By my calculation, there are only three more eliminations that need to take place to end the match.

Nick Burst - You are correct.

The cameras travel back up to the platform as Greg checks on Nick; while on the other side The Jackrabbit and Doc Holloway have taken turns keeping Lopes down on the platform. Finally they get too close to the edge for The Jackrabbit's liking and he turns around and comes face-to-face with Greg Jackson and Nick Perry. Greg ushers Perry behind him as he heads towards The Jackrabbit who falls to the platform, trying to keep his center of gravity low to avoid getting eliminated. Rushing up Greg stomps upon the chest of Jackrabbit, keeping him down on the platform; while Doc Holloway does the opposite, lifting Ray Lopes up to his feet. He dips his own head between the legs of Ray Lopes and lifts him up over his shoulders, but Ray doesn't have any of it and lands back on his feet. He swings the larger Doc Holloway onto his shoulders and powerbombs him straight down onto the plexiglass platform. Every standing competitor has to struggle to stay on their feet as the structure sways violently for a few seconds after the move. For Nicholas Perry, things are much more dire as he is vaulted over the platforms edge; barely gripping it with the finger tips of his left hand. Jackson kicks into action trying to prevent Nicholas' fall as he leaves The Jackrabbit in a vulnerable position to grab the wrist of Perry, starting to pull him up. The fans are cheering as loudly as their lungs and vocal chords will allow as they witness Greg get Nick up to a point where he can get two hands on the platform. Greg pushes himself up to all fours giving Perry space to climb up; when he is grabbed from behind by Ray Lopes and tossed off the platform.

Nick Burst - HOLY SHIT GREG'S FLYING!

His legs hit the edge of the pool, and he basically nose dives into the pool much to the displeasure of the crowd. He's able to pull himself up out of it on his own power and a gutteral scream can be heard coming from his mouth; the image of which is intensified as he is covered in blood.

Bobby Shavonie - Ray Lopes came out of nowhere and took advantage of Greg's weakness, and it worked!

Missy Janson - GREG JACKSON has been eliminated!

Nick Burst - It's true, if Greg wasn't conned into competing to protect Nicholas Perry by Zack Perry he probably would have stood a better chance.

Bobby Shavonie - Lets be honest, he didn't even want to be here and with good reason. But this early exit isn't going to do him any favors.

Nick Burst - And he broke his vow to Zack. He isn't protecting Nick now, and that was his sole mission in this match. Good luck dealing with Zack Perry on top of all your other issues, pal.

Ray Lopes moves away from Nicholas Perry who sees Greg has been eliminated, and turns to charge at the person who did it. Ray Lopes is ready to stand and fight but The Jackrabbit takes him down with a leaping dropkick from behind. Finally feeling confident with the added room on the platform with two eliminations, The Jackrabbit stays on top of Ray Lopes locking him in a front facelock trying to bring him up to his feet. As he does so he swings Ray up for a vertical suplex, nearly causing Lopes' legs to make contact with the suspension cables, and instead of falling backwards he just tosses Ray face-first into the plexiglass. Nicholas Perry watches all of this and turns in time to see Doc Holloway staring at him, laying in way. Feeling his nerves kick into action Nicholas rushes at Doc and nails him with a running forearm, and as soon as Perry takes his first strike he wishes he didn't as Holloway levels him with a big boot to the face. He doesn't give Perry time to recover as Doc grabs him by his mask and lifts him to his feet and swings Nick up over his shoulder. Perry is able to slide out of the grasp of his opponent rather easily and lands on his feet behind him, taking a look of where he is in relation to the edge of the platform. As Doc turns around Nicholas charges at him and nails a leaping knee strike just under the jaw, bringing Holloway down to a knee. Tightening his right arm around Doc's head, Nick tries to control his opponent; meanwhile, a few feet away, The Jackrabbit is pounding on the back of Ray Lopes trying to keep him down on his knees. It doesn't seem to be working as Ray fights through the pain and snatches up The Jackrabbit, setting him up for an t-bone suplex but it is fought off with a series of elbows to the side of Ray's head. With the little bit of space between them The Jackrabbit takes a step back but is quickly grabbed by Ray Lopes who pops his hips and tosses his opponent over his head with a belly to belly suplex. After contact on the plexiglass The Jackrabbit slides dangerously close to the edge with his feet hanging over; and that's as near to it as he wants to be. Scrambling forward in a good amount of pain he tries to get away from Ray Lopes, but he feels energized and receives a strong reaction from the crowd.

Bobby Shavonie - It looks like Ray Lopes has returned to his old-self tonight.

Nick Burst - He's got a long way to go, but this is a step in the right direction.

Ray reaches up and grabs The Jackrabbit by the back of his head and leads him up to his feet. The Jackrabbit has his back to Lopes, so his only defense is to reach up and grab him around the head. With that he performs a snapmare takedown that flips Ray Lopes to a seat near the end of the platform. Coming up from behind The Jackrabbit hits a dropkick to the back of his opponent's head that forces Ray over the end into a front flip; crashing down into one of the pools near the entrance ramp.

Nick Burst - Well as a disclaimer, when I said he had a long way to go I didn't mean it like that!

Missy Janson - RAY LOPES has been eliminated!

Bobby Shavonie - These guys are literally dropping like flies Nick.

Nick Burst - That's what happens in this match. They've been going at it for a long time, and if this was a regular match you'd assume someone would have exited the ring by this point. Only the ring is a platform hung fifteen feet above vats of disgusting filth.

During the period where Lopes was getting eliminated, Nicholas Perry actually manages to stay on top of Doc Holloway; but seeing The Jackrabbit all by himself is too much for Nick to pass up. He gives up his hold of Holloway and turns himself around to charge at Jackrabbit, nailing him with a front dropkick right to the chest that sends him backflipping onto his head. Mounting The Jackrabbit with little care for their location on the platform, Perry strikes at his opponent's left jawline with sharp forearm shivs; three in a row to be exact. He is content to go with a forth until Holloway comes up from behind, grabbing Nicholas by his mask, and yanks Nicholas back to his feet; but as fired up as Perry is, he takes out his aggression on Doc now. Repeated strikes to the stomach back Holloway towards the edge of the platform, where he makes a rash decision and grabs Perry in a front face lock; turning the tables, so now it is Nicholas Perry who is at risk of being tossed down into the pools below. The young man grabs at Doc Holloway's wrist that is clutched around his throat and pulls himself free, swinging away and almost sending himself off the edge with his counter. Using a shortarmed clothesline position Perry pulls himself forward but twirls around behind his back; bringing the back of Doc Holloway's head to the platform with a swinging sitout sleeper slam. The crowd cheers as Nicholas gets up to his feet, sees The Jackrabbit coming up to his feet as well, and Perry rushes forward to leap into the air and wrap his legs around Jackrabbit's head. Flipping him over with a hurricanrana, Nicholas is quick to get up to his feet and is the only man remaining in this match standing. This gives him even more adoration from the crowd as he has become a man possessed in front of their eyes since Greg was eliminated trying to save him. Choosing to stay on The Jackrabbit, probably due to the wishes of Moxie Roxie, Nick expends a good deal of energy dragging him by his arm towards the edge of the platform. When he gets close enough Perry resorts to the use of his legs, punting the side of The Jackrabbit as hard as he can trying to get rid of him. Doc Holloway stirs, but realizes he doesn't have to go after Nicholas in this moment; because if Jackrabbit falls into the pools, the match is over. He stays back, taking deep heavy breaths to cope with the amount of punishment he's been dealt out and also had much he has handed out himself. He stares as The Jackrabbit grabs onto Nicholas' strong leg and pulls himself away from the edge, jumping to his feet behind Perry to grab him in a reverse waist lock. Flipping him over his head with a release german suplex seems like a good idea, but Nicholas is one step ahead of Jackrabbit; landing on his feet, in a beautiful counter, in the middle of the platform. Trying to get up as quick as his body will allow The Jackrabbit rushes at Nicholas and is ready for some sort of attack; but Nick ducks. When he does that, Perry has no idea that from behind Doc Holloway is also lining him up for a running strike. What ends up happening is The Jackrabbit and Doc Holloway meet each other with a pair of clotheslines across their chests. Removing himself from the situation Nick leaves Doc and Jackrabbit to their own vices as they now square off, trading strikes until Doc gets the upper hand. With the advantage he tangles the arms of the Jackrabbit up and prepares him for a head and arm suplex; but Jackrabbit breaks free with a well-timed elbow to the side of the head. It's now his turn to lock up Holloway, trying to lift him up as if setting up for a spinebuster; but he receives a receipt for the elbow he dished out, with one from Doc on his way up. At a stalemate the two men take a step back and in their hesitation Nicholas jumps back into the picture by literally jumping into the air, dedicating a foot to each opponent, leveling Doc Holloway and The Jackrabbit with a textbook shotgun dropkick. Back in control again Perry heads towards the fallen Jackrabbit, ignoring Doc for the time being in order to scoop The Jackrabbit up by his hair.

Interlocking his fingers behind the neck of The Jackrabbit, Perry brings lifting knees up into the face of his opponent achieving two things. The first is physical dominance over Jackrabbit, and the second being the two men get closer and closer to the edge of the platform with every successful strike. Getting fed up The Jackrabbit waits for the next knee strike and catches the right leg of Nicholas with his left arm behind the knee. Flailing his right arm around the back of Perry's head The Jackrabbit lifts him up, spins around, and falls backwards for a twisting fishermans suplex; performed in the middle of the platform by The Jackrabbit.

Bobby Shavonie - What a move by The Jackrabbit, getting him back into the swing of things.

Nick Burst - Two of these men will get a tag title shot. The other, well, is the number one contender for long, hot shower.

Bobby Shavonie - Who do you think will win?

Nick Burst - It's too close to call. It may be cliche but whoever makes the least mistakes will probably remain standing.

As soon as he gets back to his feet The Jackrabbit tries his best to bring Nicholas Perry to the side of the platform, and manages to get him there without a lot of defense from Perry. As soon as The Jackrabbit tries to toss him off, Doc Holloway comes up from behind and tries to shove The Jackrabbit while he is off balance. It seems to work except for the fact that The Jackrabbit grabs one of the support cables and swings himself around it, bringing both of his feet into the face of Holloway before returning to the platform himself. Trying a sneak attack Perry comes from behind Jackrabbit, but he notices Nicholas coming out of the corner of his eye. The Jackrabbit catches Nicholas Perry with a sharp swinging left hook which spins him around, allowing Jackrabbit to secure him in a reverse waist lock. Nick isn't giving up that easy and thrusts his head backwards, making contact with the bridge of Jackrabbit's nose; loosening his grasp. Reaching up Perry secures a three-quarters headlock and moves towards the middle of the platform, setting up for something.

Nick Burst - He's going for Tickled Pink, I think!

Bobby Shavonie - A tribute to Moxie Roxie, and on The Jackrabbit no less!

As soon as he kicks his legs up into the air The Jackrabbit pushes Nicholas off of him, sending him flying through the air towards a standing Doc Holloway. In a perfect example of awareness Nicholas sees Doc and opens his legs, wrapping them around Holloway's neck in mid-air. Turning his body around he brings Doc close to the edge; looking to eliminate him off this move. Nicholas swings backwards and hits the hurricanrana on Doc Holloway; but Doc holds onto the thighs of Perry, and rolls upwards so that he is seated on the edge of the platform. His legs hanging over the edge he pulls Nicholas off the platform, effectively powerbombing him through the air and down into the vat of blood below.

Nick Burst - HOLY HELL! THERE GOES NICK!

Splashing into the pool, his head just missing the side by mere inches, the match ends on that note with the bell ringing to signify so.

Missy Janson - NICHOLAS PERRY has been eliminated!

Bobby Shavonie - Mercifully, this match is over and we have our two winners!

Nick Burst - Great effort by Nicholas, proving that he really didn't need Greg Jackson to watch out for him.

Bobby Shavonie - But maybe if Greg was still around, he would have stood a better chance.

The camera focuses in on the two men left on top of the platform, standing on opposite sides of it staring at one another.

Missy Janson - Therefore the winners of this match... receiving a shot at the OWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP AT OWF RISE OR FALL... THE JAAAAACKRABBIIIIT AND DOOOOOC HOOOOOLLOWAY!

The fans are all on their feet applauding, not only the win for these two newcomers; but also that it seems like no one was severely injured in this dangerous contest.

Bobby Shavonie - Well there you have it. We have our first match booked for the next Pay Per View. Eva De La Cruz and Moxie Roxie will defend against the team of Doc Holloway and The Jackrabbit!

Nick Burst - And unlike their match earlier tonight, I have no doubt that these two will put their hearts into that match.

Bobby Shavonie - Why go through this otherwise?

Nick Burst - Exactly my point.

Doc Holloway doesn't wait around long, grabbing the edge of the platform and lowering himself so that he hangs only about eight feet above the floor. With a proper swing he drops down to a crouch on the concrete next to one of the pools, and heads towards the ramp.

Nick Burst - Doc Holloway made a quick exit, I guess he's not too receptive of his new partner.

Bobby Shavonie - I don't recall these two really going at it during this match, though. Save for when we got down to the last three. So that has to say something.

Nick Burst - I guess. What will be more telling is how they approach this opportunity so early on in their runs here.

Bobby Shavonie - Very true, Nick.

The trauma done to his mental side, The Jackrabbit is clutching onto one of the support cables just waiting for it to be lowered so he can make his exit. He is muttering to himself, terrified ramblings, when suddenly the arena lights flicker and go out. The New York crowd is plunged into darkness for a moment.

Bobby Shavonie - What the hell..?

Nick Burst - Did I blackout again?

The sound of an eagle reverberates around the arena. The lights flicker back on, The Jackrabbit is still holding onto one of the cable supports. Looking across, he notices something on the platform with him long after Doc Holloway has made his exit. A large figure, dressed in black leathers and torn jeans is laid out, his arms stretched, a piece of lead piping in each fist.

Nick Burst - HEY! I recognize him!

The Jackrabbit walks across the platform, and for the first time in the match he is smiling. He opens his arms for a hug as the figure gets to his feet. The mysterious figure is a foot taller than The Jackrabbit, but he ignores the hug and instead pats The Jackrabbit's shoulder approvingly.

Nick Burst - It is! That's The Enigma, Talon... The Jackrabbit's former Fusion partner!

Bobby Shavonie - Former tag team partner? Wait a second...

Nick Burst - Looks like The Jackrabbit and Talon are forming a tag team regardless if The Jackrabbit has a shot at the titles with Doc Holloway on September 15th.

Underneath the platform, one of the four pools has already been removed. The camera cuts back up to the platform just as The Jackrabbit is making a second attempt at a hug. Talon suddenly rams the lead piping into his gut! The Jackrabbit doubles over, and Talon brings the second lead piping down over the back of his friend's head.

Bobby Shavonie - What the heck is this!?

Nick Burst - I guess I was wrong! Talon's here to hurt The Jackrabbit!

Looking up from his back on the platform, The Jackrabbit seems more shocked than wounded. Talon looks down at his fallen comrade and simply shakes his head, following up with another two shots to the back of the head. Dragging The Jackrabbit up by the neck now, Talon spins him around and launches him from the side of the platform. The Jackrabbit has only a second to flail in the air before crashing down into the pool of blood below, and disappearing instantly below its surface. The lights flicker once more, and Talon has vanished from the platform.

Nick Burst - Well talk about a sweet and sour victory.

Bobby Shavonie - The Jackrabbit just took a huge fall, and was turned on by someone he trusted.

Nick Burst - At least he'll be fully focused come time for his Tag Title shot, right?

Bobby Shavonie - If he can recover in time, sure.

The ring crew pull The Jackrabbit from the pool of blood and check on him, as the majority of them go to work trying to clean up the ringside area so they can set up the ring again. The Jackrabbit is helped to his feet by two men willing to get soaked in blood and is helped out of the way, as the equiptment needed to the show rolling is brought out. With that we cut to a commercial break, showing the upcoming Addiction card.
