The Jackrabbit
VS. Kid Dynamo
In A: Singles Match
For The: N/A
On: 23 February 2014, OWF Funeral Of Hearts 2014

The camera man shifts his focus away from Nick and Bobby, heading towards OWF Ring Announcer Missy Janson who is on her feet; standing next to the time keepers table with a microphone in her left hand.

Bobby Shavonie - And speaking of bright; it looks like we're ready for the second match of the night, which was actually scheduled to open the show.

Nick Burst - Well plans change. DK is gone, forever, and The Jackrabbit faces Kid Dynamo in the second match. That won't change anything for either man.

The crowd begins noticing Missy's position, but not all of them are keen to it quite yet.

Bobby Shavonie - I hope not; so lets send it over to Missy Janson so we can get them both out here, and see what they are made of!

Nick Burst - That was so awkward of you to say. If I said it, threw in the word "fuck" or "shit" a few times, it could have worked. Not you though.

Bobby Shavonie - Oh give me a break, Nick.

Bringing the microphone up in front of her face, Missy Janson speaks to the crowd.

Missy Janson - Our next match is scheduled for a one-fall, with no time limit...

The crowd stops what they are doing, and gives their full attention to the ringside area.

Missy Janson - Introducing first... from Colorado Springs, Colorado... Kid Dynamo!

"GODDDDD MOOOOODE!!!!!"

The lights in the arena pulse with the rhythmic beating of open hi-hats. After four beats, the thunderous guitars of "Comfortable Liar" cue the lights suddenly maximizing their brightness, a silent explosion that causes most of the audience to look away. As the lights fade back to normal, the audience looks back to see Kid Dynamo standing on the entryway. The audience reaction is of emphatic dissent: not one person in the audience is silent in their disapproval. Dynamo stands there at the top of the entrance ramp, silently demanding the praise and adoration of the fans in the OWF arena, seemingly aloof to the chorus of boos with which the audience is pelting him, while the song's intro plays. As the verse enters, Dynamo slowly begins traversing the entrance ramp towards the ring.

"Broad...is this sea
The salt...enters the wound
My take...on you is simple
So heeeeeeeeal, you're freeeeeee"

Meanwhile, the camera bounces back and forth between anti-Dynamo signs sprinkled throughout the arena and KD himself walking majestically to the ring.

Bobby Shavonie - This match got booked just nine days ago, where Kid Dynamo suffered a tough loss to Greg Jackson. Do you think the outcome of that match will play a factor at all tonight?

Nick Burst - Listen I give Kid Dynamo shit because he deserves it, but if he's smart he will leave whatever happened on Addiction in the past; including him spitting on me. If he's worried about what I'm saying about him tonight, he's going to end up on the short end of the stick.

Bobby Shavonie - He worked really hard against Jackson and nearly pulled out the win, but tonight he goes against a completely different man; a man who he has attacked previously, and will certainly be ready when the bell rings.

Nick Burst - This is an ass kicking Kid Dynamo deserves, but I'm the one who you have to trust when I say that Dynamo is more than capable of pulling out a win here.

Bobby Shavonie - Why have you changed your tune so sharply on him?

Nick Burst - I haven't... He's a fucking asshole and if he comes near me tonight I'm punching him right in the fucking mouth, but last week he proved something to the world; no matter how big of a douche bag he is, when he's inside of that ring he's going to bring it.

He does not interact with the fans, but seems to acknowledge them, continuing to wordlessly profess his importance upon all eyes pointed at him or at a TV watching the broadcast. Finally, Dynamo reaches the ring steps and walks up and into the squared circle, pausing in the near corner as his music fades out. The cameras cut back outside to Missy, as she continues on with her introductions.

Missy Janson - And his opponent... from Parts Unknown... The Jackrabbit!

The arena lights dim, and hysterical laughter sounds through the arena. A series of rabbits appear on the big screen, their eyes a crimson red. "Out Of My Head" by Puddle Of Mudd begins to play, as smoke fills the entrance-ramp and blue strobe lights scan the arena. Onto the ramp steps The Jackrabbit. He is wearing one of his trademark T-Shirts, and his plaid, wrestling shorts.

Bobby Shavonie - This man has had his ups and downs with us, but he is has emerged as a major threat in our roster.

Nick Burst - That's the only reason Kid Dynamo cared enough to attack him. We've seen a lot of shit going back a few weeks with these two mixing it up, and when President Chase Johnson made this match there was no doubting why. Now it's up to The Jackrabbit to win a match on Pay Per View, something he hasn't done since October of last year.

Bobby Shavonie - That has to be extra motivation for a man like him, who seems to be lost and on his own right now.

Nick Burst - When you're as talented as him, you can get by being by yourself; but you need to be able to win matches against high caliber athletes like Kid Dynamo in order to be taken seriously when it comes to this business. No one cares what has happened in the past; it's all about what have you done for me five minutes from now.

Bobby Shavonie - And five minutes from now, The Jackrabbit hopes to be in firm control of this match; and I like his chances tonight.

The Jackrabbit begins to walk down the ramp as the music picks up, and he then runs and slides into the ring as blue strobe lights scan the arena. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle, and laughs outloud to himself, raising both arms and wriggling the index fingers on each as the fans cheer him. The Jackrabbit then jumps back down, and paces the ring, looking entirely as though he has no idea where he is as he heads to his corner; his music quickly fading out.

Now that both men are in the ring OWF Official Calvin Mills motions to the time keepers table for the bell to be rung, to start the match.

NORMAL MATCH
VS
THE JACKRABBIT KID DYNAMO

(Ding, Ding, Ding...)

There's nothing holding these two men back from going at one another so The Jackrabbit and Kid Dynamo rush to the middle of the ring, and meet with dual clotheslines from their right arms; whipping them against each other's chests. They stand stunned for a moment but then quickly this match devolves into a fight as Jackrabbit fires a right hand to the face of Dynamo, catching him right upon his mouth. He goes for a second right hook but KD gets his left forearm up and blocks it so that, in turn, he can unleash a right elbow strike to the bridge of JR's nose. Knocked back a step The Jackrabbit leaves himself open for a rushing shoulder charge to the gut by Kid Dynamo, who forces Jackrabbit all the way back into the corner he started the match in as KD unleashes two more shoulder strikes to the stomach. The blows do their part to weaken his opponent but it isn't enough to keep Jackrabbit out of it as he balls his hands together and delivers a double axe handle smash to the back of Kid Dynamo, briefly dropping him to a knee. As that happens The Jackrabbit bends down to wrap both of his arms around the abdomen of his opponent and tries to lift him up onto his shoulders for what seems to be the beginnings of a powerbomb position; but Kid Dynamo counters, executing a back body drop that flips The Jackrabbit through the air. Somehow, while flipping over Dynamo's back, Jackrabbit manages to grab onto his opponent's thighs and looks to be trying for a sunset flip as KD flails his arms trying to keep his balance on his feet. It is no use as he is rolled down to his back but the momentum carried allows him to somersault back up to his feet before the referee can even get down on the mat to make the count. Taking a step forward Kid Dynamo looks for a soccer kick to The Jackrabbit's face but it is ducked under, and not a second later Dynamo is yanked down to the mat with a school boy roll up; this one the referee manages to slide in for. Just as he is about to start his count The Jackrabbit gets up to his feet and tucks his head between his opponent's legs and uses all of the strength in his upper body to hoist Kid Dynamo up onto his shoulders and into a powerbomb position. Unfortunately for him Jackrabbit cannot maintain a tight hold on KD who rolls forward, getting himself out of harms way while completing a beautiful sunset flip; as the series of counters and reversals these two men are pulling off doesn't even stop there. While managing to pin his opponent's shoulders to the mat, Dynamo is unable to keep him there and The Jackrabbit rolls out of the sunset flip to get right back to his feet. He leaps in the air and looks for a low dropkick to the face of KD, who dodges it to get up to his feet in a single fluid motion while JR pushes himself up to his hands and knees off the miss. Not a second later The Jackrabbit has to yank his head out of harm's way as Kid Dynamo goes for a running soccer kick to inflict massive damage on his opponent. Off the miss Kid Dynamo spins around and The Jackrabbit gets up to his feet, leaving the two men staring each other down as the applause from the crowd rewards both for how they came out of the gates.

Bobby Shavonie - Well I think it's safe to say that these two want to rip each other apart...

Nick Burst - I wouldn't say that. I'd say they're both looking for a victory here that could greatly boost their position in the federation. It's obvious they don't like one another and that only adds fuel to this fire.

Staring at each other it's obvious they are now approaching this match with a different mindset and pace as they begin circling the ring, trying to eye up a weak spot to take advantage of. When neither Kid Dynamo or The Jackrabbit offer up any they head forward and engage in a collar and elbow tie up, jostling for position in the center of the squared circle. At first Kid Dynamo gets the advantage and pushes The Jackrabbit down to a knee where he abandons the tie up for a side headlock with his left arm, wrenching upon the head and neck of JR as he remains on his knees. It's not enough to keep his opponent down as JR pushes himself back to his feet and brings a short right elbow into the sternum of his opponent, followed by a second to that same exact spot causing Dynamo's grip to loosen. Using both of his arms The Jackrabbit reaches up to latch onto the left wrist of his opponent and pries it away from his head, and keeps a tight hold of it. With as much strength as he can summon Jackrabbit irish whips KD towards the opposite side of the ring, releasing him with so much force that Dynamo barely has time to turn so that his back hits the ring cables. As he comes sprinting from them The Jackrabbit leapfrogs high in the air, clearing the height of his opponent, but Dynamo stops short. When gravity comes back into play JR is snatched into a standing fireman's carry by Kid Dynamo who obviously has great intentions, but by furiously kicking his legs The Jackrabbit is able to land back on the mat right behind his opponent. Having avoided the offensive move of his opponent Jackrabbit now looks to perform one of his own by spinning KD around and dipping his head down; picking Dynamo up over his shoulder into a front powerslam position. JR moves all the way back to the corner he started the match in and looks at the empty ring and he dashes forward, intent on flipping his opponent down to his back; but never gets the chance as Kid Dynamo slides down his opponent's back, and shoves Jackrabbit chest-first into the opposing corner. There is such a huge impact that Jackrabbit stumbles backwards as he is propelled towards the middle of the ring, and therefore Kid Dynamo; who wraps both arms around the midsection of his opponent, cinching in a reverse waist lock. At first The Jackrabbit is keen to what is happening and delivers a back elbow shot with his right arm, followed by an exact duplicate of that strike except with his left elbow now. Somehow Kid Dynamo manages to keep the waist lock intact and sensing his chance is fading he pops his hips and throws Jackrabbit over his head with a release german suplex. It's hard to believe but even given such little time to react The Jackrabbit performs a standing backflip and lands flat on his feet, watching his opponent collapse to his back after the suplex attempt. Hanging back JR gets a huge applause from the fans as he waits for his opponent to get himself back to a standing position under his own power. As soon as he does Jackrabbit approaches from behind and butterflies both of Dynamo's arms behind his back, setting him up in a tiger suplex position. It's not as tight as he would like it to be and that allows Kid Dynamo to free his right arm as he spins to his left and tucks his opponent's left arm behind his back into a textbook hammerlock submission. Tugging JR's left wrist towards the sky he wanders around in a circle followed from behind by Dynamo who keeps the hold applied, while Jackrabbit tries to figure a way out of it. Instead what ends up happening is his opponent, Kid Dynamo, shoves him from behind so that his exposed left shoulder impacts the top turnbuckle; and the padding of it offers little to no cushion as he makes contact. As he stumbles backwards on the heels of his boots The Jackrabbit is snatched up from behind and lifted into the air before he even knows what is happening and gets slammed down upon that bad shoulder, along with the back of his head, by a pinpoint back drop suplex performed by Kid Dynamo. As he bounds up to his feet Kid Dynamo stands over The Jackrabbit, who has coiled both of his hands over the back of his neck trying to soothe the pain, but doesn't want to make this moment last. Instead of using the lull in the action to give himself a breather Kid Dynamo crouches down to grab two handfuls of JR's hair, which he uses to peel him off his back and up to his knees. As he reaches that point KD clasps him into a front face lock with his right arm and uses it to stand his opponent back on his feet. Showing off his technical prowess Kid Dynamo delivers a head and arm suplex, flipping The Jackrabbit over onto his back; then immediately turns it into a cross armbreaker submission, working on the damaged left shoulder joint of his opponent. The crowd lets out a huge gasp and gets up to their feet as OWF Official Calvin Mills comes in to check on The Jackrabbit, asking if he wants to give up.

Bobby Shavonie - What a series of moves by Dynamo!

Nick Burst - It's no doubt that when he gets inside of those ropes, Kid Dynamo is a great wrestler. Tonight he's living up to that.

Bobby Shavonie - You may have to give him the edge right now, with this submission applied, but this match has been pretty even don't you think?

Nick Burst - Absolutely and I expected nothing less. It's a big match and they're getting the crowd into it as we speak.

There is no give in The Jackrabbit as he rolls up onto his damaged left shoulder, reaching his right hand forward to clasp hands with his left. Using that, digging deep through the pain, he manages to get up to his knees while Kid Dynamo keeps the remnants of the cross armbreaker applied. From his knees The Jackrabbit stands up to his feet and keeps his center of gravity low so that he can hoist the entire weight of his opponent up into the air, just to slam him right down to his back with a variation of a powerbomb; and it does the trick to release him from the submission. Shaking his arm to get some feeling back into it The Jackrabbit carefully crawls away from Kid Dynamo, glancing over his shoulder to check on his progress while remaining on his hands and knees. When he notices Dynamo hasn't moved a muscle since the powerbomb he gains his second wind and stands up with the fans completely on his side as he heads towards the nearest corner; where he starts to climb up to the top rope with his back to the ring. The sold-out crowd gets louder and louder with every step The Jackrabbit takes as he makes his way to the top ring cable. He balances himself there and takes one last look at the position of Kid Dynamo before backflipping off the top rope; performing a beautiful moonsault upon the chest cavity of his opponent in the middle of the ring. The power of the fall sends Jackrabbit flopping to his back right next to his opponent, unable to complete the lateral press off the aerial assault.

Bobby Shavonie - Laughing Matter on Dynamo! What a display from The Jackrabbit!

Nick Burst - He needs to stay on Kid Dynamo though. Pin him or pick him up for something else, because that fucker isn't going to give up until the match is over. He's shown that, as has Jackrabbit.

Bobby Shavonie - Indeed. They've traded holds, beaten the tar out of one another and tried to deliver some momentum shifting moves and now finally it looks like it's coming to catch up with them.

Nick Burst - That's natural. They busted their asses and now it's up to who makes the least mistakes; and who can capitalize off those said mistakes.

Bobby Shavonie - That's what happens when you have an evenly matched contest like this, with two men who desperately want the victory over the other.

Nick Burst - Can't disagree there.

There is a huge round of applause for both men, and this match, as the fans are all on their feet if they weren't already. They stare at the ring which has Kid Dynamo and The Jackrabbit laid out next to one another, both showing signs of life as the referee for this match, Calvin Mills, refrains from counting the two men down to let them have it out. With both of his arms across his stomach The Jackrabbit rolls onto his left side and eventually up to his knees, finally catching his breath after the huge fall from the top rope while Kid Dynamo is trying to sit himself up but his upper body is failing him. As Jackrabbit stands to his feet he stays close to his opponent but lets KD expend as much energy needed to get back upright, no matter how long it takes. All in all it takes about five more seconds for Kid Dynamo to stand up and when he does he is met with a right handed slap to the face from his opponent, followed by a smack from the left hand of JR; as he now spins around in a circle whirling his fingers in the air. When he turns around ready to complete the Slap Happy combination of slaps he is met with a right forearm shiv to the jaw, snapping his head backwards and dropping The Jackrabbit to a knee. Like a shark smelling blood in the water Kid Dynamo comes in and goes for the shining enziguri but when he kicks his right leg towards JR's face it is caught under the left armpit of his opponent; who bursts up to his feet. As quick as he can The Jackrabbit tosses the right leg of his opponent to his right, spinning Dynamo around a full rotation, and decking him with an open handed slap to the face with his right hand once KD is square to him once again. The crowd pops as Slap Happy, or a delayed version of it, is complete; but they get nervous when The Jackrabbit heads back towards one of the corners, climbing towards the top rope from inside of the ring. He eventually stands himself up on the top rope, his back to the ring, readying for another moonsault; but he never gets the chance to pull it off as Kid Dynamo comes up to a standing position, only to shove the legs of his opponent apart. The Jackrabbit ends up crotched on the top turnbuckle facing the crowd, unable to do anything as his opponent carefully ascends the ropes behind JR; making sure to duck his head under Jackrabbit's right arm as Dynamo gets to the second rope. Wrapping both of his arms around the waist of his opponent KD lifts JR up to a standing position on the top rope and joins him there a second later, preparing him for a top rope back drop suplex. As Kid Dynamo falls backwards he lifts The Jackrabbit into the air but JR counters, rotating the weight of his body so he can spin around and land on top of Dynamo's chest with a top rope splash of sorts; but doesn't bother to hook a leg. OWF Referee Calvin Mills slides in and counts. 1... 2... Dynamo kicks both of his legs into the air and summons the strength to get up to his knees holding The Jackrabbit horizontally across his chest in a fallaway slam position. Moving up to his feet he keeps JR there only to swing him away from his body, and deliver a backbreaker across his bent left knee by dropping down to his right. Falling down to the mat The Jackrabbit favors his back in a good amount of pain while Kid Dynamo rises up, arrogantly calling for his opponent to join him.

There's no way The Jackrabbit can get up that fast but that doesn't stop him from trying his hardest as he rolls onto his stomach, keeping as much pressure off his back as possible. Seating himself up on his rear, with his back to his opponent, Jackrabbit readies himself to get up to his feet when he is met with a stunning shin kick flush across his spine; keeping him exactly where he sits now. Carrying his momentum forward Kid Dynamo rushes to the set of ring cables JR is seated facing and nails him with a shin kick across the chest, flattening Jackrabbit flat to his back. Quick to stay on top of him KD rolls his opponent over onto his stomach, then kneels down on the small of his back with both knees. Crossing JR's legs over with his right arm, and hooking his left hand under Jackrabbit's chin; Kid Dynamo rolls to his back, bending The Jackrabbit backwards over his knees in a bow and arrow submission. The referee moves in to check on the condition of The Jackrabbit as he is trapped pretty tightly by Dynamo; who isn't budging an inch. Wiggling his legs as much as he possibly can somehow JR manages to uncross his feet, and backflips out of the submission; planting the soles of both boots on the canvas as he ends up standing over Dynamo. Dealing with the pain in his back The Jackrabbit hesitates and that brief moment allows Kid Dynamo to sit upright, preparing to stand himself up. Unfortunately for him his opponent has other plans as Jackrabbit brings his right knee cap forward between the shoulder blades of Dynamo, then remains on that knee to deliver downward elbow strikes with his right and then his left arm; directed to either side of Kid Dynamo's head and neck. Suddenly finding himself in control now, The Jackrabbit stands up to his feet with the crowd cheering him on as he uses both hands to lift Kid Dynamo up a moment or two later. From behind he shoves Dynamo chest-first into the ropes but KD violently spins around to face The Jackrabbit; and the two men knock heads. Dynamo is sent right down to the mat but JR is knocked backwards; his elbow catching OWF Referee Calvin Mills right upon his face, being knocked unconscious.

Nick Burst - Oh shit... Referee is down!

Bobby Shavonie - And he's bleeding! Jackrabbit didn't mean to hit him!

Nick Burst - Perfect timing for The Movement to come down and get involved, I bet...

Bobby Shavonie - Well now you probably jinxed it.

The Jackrabbit regains his senses and immediately walks over to Mills, trying to pick him up but it's no use. He has a look of regret in his eyes which soon fades away as he lays them back on Kid Dynamo, who has his right hand on his forehead as he tries to stand up under his own power. Stepping in JR helps KD to his feet and immediately pushes him backwards into the nearest corner; where he peppers away at his chest with rapid middle kicks. Slowly Jackrabbit works Dynamo down to a seat in the corner where the kicks from JR now turn into stomps, with no official there to back him off. He really gets an advantage on Kid Dynamo then resorts to lifting him back up and isolating his right arm, managing to irish whip his opponent all the way across the ring. As soon as he releases KD, The Jackrabbit runs across the ring right behind him; ready to crush Dynamo as soon as he turns around. A second later he does so that his back can absorb the impact of the padded turnbuckles and in that moment Kid Dynamo uses it to burst forward, leveling Jackrabbit with a rebound clothesline that sends both men to the mat with an extreme amount of force upon collision. First to his feet is Dynamo who heads to the ropes to keep his balance as he keeps a careful watch on The Jackrabbit as he sits himself up, holding his chest as he tries to catch his breath. Seeing an opportunity KD moves in to grab The Jackrabbit by his hair and uses that to stand him up, held in a front face lock which Kid Dynamo uses to bring a stunning right knee into the sternum of his opponent; making it even harder to breathe. Allowing the immediate release of his opponent Kid Dynamo follows it up with a sharp knife edge chop to the chest of The Jackrabbit, knocking him back a step. A second chop also finds it's mark upon JR's chest as he takes a second step back, but immediately makes it up with a left forearm shiv to Dynamo's face; whipping his head backwards as he nearly loses his balance. Doing whatever he can to keep this advantage The Jackrabbit closes the distance between himself and his opponent to deliver another left forearm strike, this one even harder, and it knocks Kid Dynamo back-first into the ropes. Using the spring of them Dynamo comes at JR with his right arm cocked back behind his head, but completely misses his haymaker attempt; so badly, in fact, that Jackrabbit is able to dip around behind Dynamo and sets him up for a back drop suplex. The second JR tries to hoist KD up he is met with a series of three downward elbow shots to the back of his head, facilitating the clean release of Kid Dynamo all while the referee is still face down on the mat just feet away from the action.

Kid Dynamo bends over with The Jackrabbit right behind him so that he can catch his breath and then willingly sprints off towards the ring cables, turning so that his back can bounce off of them. He does so and comes back towards his dazed opponent, who sees KD preparing for a clothesline, and hooks his arm to float over and around; trapping Dynamo in a front face lock now, but he is unable to keep it held as Kid Dynamo swings out of it keeping a hold of JR's left arm. He pulls him in for a shortarmed clothesline attempt but for the second time in the match the two men unwillingly headbutt one another; and this time they both collapse right down to their knees right in front of one another. They are knocked loopy and barely register that they are so close as both Dynamo and Jackrabbit are off in their own worlds trying to stay in this contest which has taken a lot out of them. Jackrabbit regains a sense of his surroundings first and catches Dynamo with weak elbow strike to his right cheek bone, sending him back a bit but all it really serves to do is wake up KD as he retaliates with a left jab; followed by a right hook, both to the face of his opponent. Giving himself a little bit of a breather Kid Dynamo starts preparing to stand up but gets caught with a closed fist from The Jackrabbit that is driven right under his sternum, allowing JR to step up to meet him along the way.

The two men rise up to their feet facing one another, as OWF Referee Calvin Mills finally starts to stir and gets up to his hands and knees; shaking his head from side to side. Coming in Kid Dynamo steps up onto the back of the referee with his left foot and kicks his right foot up; catching The Jackrabbit with the shining enziguri with the help of the referee.

Bobby Shavonie - Bad Luck Charm! Out of nowhere!

Kid Dynamo collapses on top of The Jackrabbit, hooking both of his legs as tightly as possible in the view of Calvin Mills; who remains on all fours to administer the count. 1... 2... 3!

Missy Janson - The winner of this match... KIIIID DYYYYNAMO!

Nick Burst - Wow.

Bobby Shavonie - What a match, and what a finish!

Kid Dynamo pops up and exits the ring in a flash, looking for nothing out of the referee as he holds his hands high in the air to a chorus of boo's.

Nick Burst - Man The Jackrabbit is NOT going to be happy about that. How in the hell can you count that fall if you're Mills, after a great match like that?

Bobby Shavonie - I don't think he realized that he was used as an assistant by Kid Dynamo on the Bad Luck Charm. He got knocked for a loop there.

Nick Burst - That better be the case... I wasn't alone in enjoying the bout that JR and KD were having.

Bobby Shavonie - They brought out the best in one another and regardless of how it ended, Kid Dynamo picks up the victory.

Nick Burst - Ugh. I can't say he didn't deserve it because he was great tonight. But The Jackrabbit may not have been beaten if the referee didn't get knocked down in the first place.

The Jackrabbit rolls off of his back and gets up to all fours, digging his head into the mat where he cups both of his hands around the back of his head to deal with the pain. The cameras follow Kid Dynamo as he heads up the ramp soaking in the hatred from the crowd around him.

Bobby Shavonie - You can talk about if's and but's, bottom line is that both guys had a shot to win and Dynamo did it.

Nick Burst - I guess you're right...

As Dynamo reaches the stage, "Shout at the Devil" by Mötley Crüe hits and EJ Slayer steps out onto the walkway, a microphone already prepped in his hand. Dynamo gives him a steely glare and mouths "I’m done here" at him before pushing past. EJ remains on the ramp, only turning his back on Dynamo when he has passed completely. Now he stares down to the ring, where Jackrabbit is still on his knees, nursing his head.

EJ Slayer - Well well well, there is a shocker, the jester-in-shining-armor falls off his horse and lands on his face. How many times do you need to fail before reality sinks in Jackrabbit? How long will this go on before the obvious staring you in the face becomes clear to you?

The audience breaks out into violent boos, and begins throwing their trash at Slayer- always coming up short, however.

EJ Slayer - The same typical shortsightedness that has plagued this company for years. The fans cheer you when you came out on top against Eva. They cheer you as you took on that has-been Kid Dynamo. They don't stop to realize that I'm responsible for all of this. They don't realize that I was the one that had you take on Eva, that I was the one that called for you to face Kid Dynamo. They don't realize that this befuddled fool in the ring has been doing all of my dirty work, and they have applauded you for it. Take a bow, Jackrabbit, you played the part of Jesse Williams to my Zack Perry perfectly.

Jackrabbit doesn’t look angry, and doesn’t look deflated. A blank stare crosses the distance between the two.

EJ Slayer - The saddest part of this is that none of this ever clicked in the brain of The Jackrabbit. He never stopped to think about the fact that Eva de la Cruz never did anything to him before he attacked her. Never considered the fact that Kid Dynamo likely never would've even realized who The Jackrabbit was had he not been talked into jumping him. No, like all the other sycophants that populate this company, The Jackrabbit gleefully did whatever it was that I convinced him to do, simply because he felt it would get him that much closer to that brass ring, that much closer to the empty praise and shallow glory that the fans and powers-that-be in this company would grant him, and he can't even succeed in doing anything but sit stuck in his own mediocrity. Go on Jackrabbit, get yourself a microphone, tell the world how predictable you are.

As if on cue, Jackrabbit grabs the mic from Missy, finally a look of rage in his eyes. Slayer simply laughs at the continued predictability, a complete look of disinterest on his face as Jackrabbit starts to speak.

The Jackrabbit - I told Eva.. I told Dynamo.. and I’s telling you, and all your whackball Movement buddies. I spent too long being beaten and battered, too long being double-teamed and triple-teamed and too long being overlooked and under-booked!

A "Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit!" chant breaks out in the crowd, which seems to instil even more confidence in Jackrabbit stood in the ring.

The Jackrabbit - Jackrabbit is nobody’s victim anymore! So how’s bout you come on down here and I’s show you what I mean!!

EJ begins to storm towards the ring, and the crowd explodes in premature cheers at the prospect of Jackrabbit and Slayer going toe-to-toe. But EJ stops at the bottom of the ramp, laughing once more and spinning on his heels. He keeps his back to Jackrabbit as he marches back up the ramp, an arm held out wide as the cheers turn to damning boos.

EJ Slayer - Unlike you, Jackrabbit, I am my own man. I don't allow myself to be manipulated by these fans, or Zack Perry, or anyone. You say you aren't a victim, but the fact of the matter is the only people that aren't victims in this company are part of The Movement. We all realize that we aren't slaves to empty promises and hollow cheers. There won't be any retribution for you or for your fans. You made yourself a victim and an example of everything wrong in this business, and you get to spend the rest of your career thinking about how you are nothing more than a puppet and it has cost you at every turn.

"Shout at the Devil" hits the speakers once more and EJ disappears being the curtain, leaving an enraged Jackrabbit in the ring, kicking the ring ropes and slamming the microphone out to ringside. The cameras immediately cut to the commentary table where Nick Burst is seen pouring himself another glass of scotch.

Bobby Shavonie - You have nothing to say, Nick? You're just going to drink?

Nick Burst - No I'm rewarding myself for staying silent through all of that shit, as we got EJ Slayer on a Pay Per View that he isn't booked for. I deserve this drink for that.

Bobby Shavonie - You don't even want to say anything about The Jackrabbit?

Nick lifts the glass up to his lips and takes a generous sip, then places the glass down on the commentary table.

Nick Burst - Oh it's going to be great when The Jackrabbit finally gets his hands on EJ Slayer. Conversely it's going to be fucking horrible when he becomes brainwashed into joining The Movement.

Bobby Shavonie - Those are two opposite sides of the spectrum, Nick, and I think Jackrabbit made his intentions clear tonight. He wants Slayer.

Nick Burst - Then just go back there and find him. Beat the shit out of him back there. It's just as rewarding.

Bobby Shavonie - I don't know about that. If I was Jackrabbit coming off a hard fought loss to Dynamo, the last thing I'd want to do is go against EJ Slayer and The Movement; all of whom haven't lifted a finger inside of the ring tonight yet.

Nick Burst - True. That's a good point. So then next Addiction, I think it's March 7th. Do it then.

Bobby Shavonie - Oh come on Nick. EJ and JR dealing with one another isn't a new thing. Don't you think if The Jackrabbit was going to get at EJ Slayer backstage he would have done it already?

Nick Burst - Maybe. But tonight could have pushed him over the edge. Fuck. It would have pushed me over the edge.

Bobby Shavonie - This is a sport of emotions. If The Jackrabbit loses sense of himself, then he might as well sign up to join The Movement.

Nick Burst - But...

Bobby Shavonie - Look at Jesse Williams. He didn't harm Zack Perry and you wanted him to, yet it got Zack lost; didn't it?

Nick Burst - Yeah and...

Bobby Shavonie - So maybe The Jackrabbit can get rid of EJ Slayer by playing his game, for now. You ever think of that?

Nick Burst - Bobby you're pressing me too hard. You're right, okay... Just chill out. I get what you're saying.

Bobby Shavonie - Good. That's all I was trying to do, just conveying my point.
