Bobby Shavonie -
It's time, Nick! Nick Burst - Oh I
know. My glass of scotch is full, the fans are rabid...
it's time for BRAWLTOPIA! The shot fades to
be picked back up by a camera man at ringside, who is
focused solely on the time keepers table. Bobby Shavonie -
We've had an action packed night, and things are just
about to get kicked up a notch! Nick Burst - I
can't wait any longer! OWF Ring Announcer
Missy Janson takes possession of a microphone on the
table and brings it with her as she stands up on her
feet. She glances out into the crowd and flashes her
pearly white smile. Bobby Shavonie -
You don't have to any more, as Missy is ready to take it
away! Missy Janson -
Without any further adue, I am happy to announce is time
for the MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING... AND IT IS THE
BRAWLTOPIA MATCH! The entire mass of
fans, all at once, get right up to their feet and screech
as loud as their voices will allow. The foundation under
the building rumbles and it sets the tone for what is to
come in the next contest. Missy Janson - The
rules are as follows: this is a Battle Royal, with no
disqualifications where weapons are encouraged for use...
where the only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over
the top rope, with both feet touching the floor. When the Ring
Announcer pauses the fans pick up their volume once
again, allowing Missy to catch her breath for the next
set of announcements. Missy Janson - At
any time during this match only four men will be entered,
and when one is eliminated another will take his place.
The last competitor standing will receive a shot at the
OWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AT OWF HOLIDAY BASH ON
DECEMBER 29TH! That earns another
rousing cheer from the crowd, but they keep their
composure knowing they have a lot more time to express
their feelings with the next match coming up. Missy Janson - The
first entrant to the Brawltopia Match... from Toronto,
Ontario, Canada... PLAGUE! The entire arena
goes black, and silent with exception of the occasional
camera flash and the cheers of the crowd. Suddenly the
the heavy riffs of Bullet with a Name rip through the
silence, followed by the lyrics leading up to the chorus.
"I
GOT A BULLET WITH A NAME ON IT." Simultaneously,
flames go off on either side of the entrance ramp, and
Plague walks out from the back, pausing at the top of the
ramp, before shaking out his hands, and shifts his weight
from one foot to another like a boxer would. "A
BULLET WITH A NAME." With a smile to
the cheering crowd, he heads down the ramp bumping fists
with some of the fans as he goes. Nick Burst - Thank
FUCKING god he got rid of that lame guitar entrance. Bobby Shavonie -
How could he not get rid of that after you bashed it so
hard? Nick Burst - If
Plague wants to have even a fighters chance in this
thing, he needed to come into this match not looking like
a joke. This is way better than what he did a few weeks
ago. Bobby Shavonie -
Besides his entrance, what do you think about Plague's
chances? Nick Burst - As
the first entrant? Not very good. By my count he's going
to have to outlast ten other competitors to win this
match. He'd be better off giving up on that and just
looking to make an impact in a high profile match. Bobby Shavonie -
Oh come on, Nick. Plague is a former World Champion and
he's just as capable of winning as anyone else if he's
anything like he was back in the day. Nick Burst - How
do you know that? You weren't even around when he was
Champion. Neither was I, but unlike you I studied all the
shows I missed while you just read stats off a piece of
paper. Plague is a great wrestler, but his odds of
walking out as the last man standing aren't good. Halfway down he
breaks into a sprint and slides into the ring, heading
over to his corner once he stands. From Plague the camera
cuts back outside of the ring, barely catching up with
Missy Janson as she continues. Missy Janson - The
second man to the ring... from Love Valley, North
Carolina... DUDE JOB! "I don't care
anymore" by Phil Collins starts to play as we see
Dude JoB walk out wearing Trent Steel's trench coat and
sporting his blue hippie shades. The fans are booing
loudly as he struts down the ramp, one foot in front of
the other, looking out into the crowd on his way down the
aisle. When he gets to ringside Dude Job rolls under the
bottom rope and pushes himself up to his feet, discarding
the trenchcoat and sunglasses over the top rope. He has a
wide smile on his face as he walks to his corner and
climbs up to the middle rope, holding his hands high
above his head. Bobby Shavonie -
Once again Dude Job enters the ring wearing Trent's
attire, but he needs to realize this is about much more
than Trent. Nick Burst - He'll
find out soon, because everything I said about Plague
goes for Dude Job too. These two, along with the next two
entrants, really don't stand much of a chance with the
rules we have in place. People are going to get hurt,
Bobby. Bobby Shavonie -
And hasn't Dude Job been a guy who has been known to hurt
people? Nick Burst - He
sure fucking is, and that makes him a threat, but being
in this match from the start sets any advantage back a
few steps. Not to mention he just competed nine days ago
in a grueling match against the Freedom Kid; who he may
just come across later in the match. Bobby Shavonie -
That's true. Hopping down to
his feet on the mat as his music fades out, DJ leans up
against the turnbuckle pads in his corner across the ring
from Plague as the cameras come back to a focus on the
OWF Ring Announcer on the outside of the ring. Missy Janson - The
third entrant... from Parts Unknown... ATAXIA! "Die!
Die! Die, my darling. Dont utter a single
word..." As this comes over
the PA out of the back coming to the ring at a full tilt
is Ataxia. "The Messiah Pariah" ignores the
fans and dives under the bottom ropes and slides across
the ring almost hitting a cameraman. Nick Burst - Dude
Job and Ataxia in the same ring together, with weapons
being encouraged... Bobby Shavonie -
And don't forget, Ataxia's tag team partner was thrown
off a bridge just nine days ago; so you know he has some
pent up rage inside of him. Nick Burst - This
guy always has rage on tap. He's a sick bastard and in a
match like this, he's the kind of guy who could last a
good while. Still, being entered this early isn't the
strongest of ways to start. Bobby Shavonie -
Yes, we understand that Nick. You've been sure to let us
know about that many times. Nick Burst - Hey
fair is fair. If I said it about Plague and DJ, Ataxia
gets the same treatment; and so will whoever comes out
next. He smiles as he
kips up and holds out his arms in a mock bow and heads
off to the corner between Plague and Dude Job, all the
while laughing maniacally. His music fades and the next
shot of the night is of Missy Janson, looking out into
the crowd, raising her microphone up in front of her
face. Missy Janson - And
fourth in... from Los Angeles, California... RAY LOPES! "Just
a step, cried the sad man Sean Price's Mad
Mann plays over the PA system as Ray Lopes, looking as
ornery as ever makes his way down to the ring. He slaps a
few fans hands along the way and then climbs inside,
ready for the match to begin. With all four men
in the ring the cameras cut back outside where OWF
Referee's Dean Stern and Calvin Mills are both out here
to call this match from ringside on opposite sides of the
ring. With a nod to the timekeepers table the bell is
rung; which is met with a huge cheer from the fans. THE
BRAWLTOPIA MATCH THE
STARTING FOUR... (Ding, Ding,
Ding...) Bobby Shavonie -
And just like that, here we go! Immediately Dude
Job and Ataxia exit the ring under the bottom rope,
taking advantage of the loose rules on weapon use by
ducking under the apron skirt. While Dude Job pulls out a
kendo stick and Ataxia brings out a large stop sign,
Plague runs across the ring and clotheslines Lopes with
such force that he flips over the top rope; barely
hanging on for dear life as he holds onto the ropes.
Plague is about to move in and secure the first
elimination of the night but from behind he is smacked
with the kendo stick across the back of his head by Dude
Job, who has just returned to the ring. Ataxia slides
back in and lifts the stop sign over his head, and
wallops DJ over his head denting it severely as he drops
to his knees. Dropping the stop sign to the mat Ataxia
reaches down, grabbing Plague by both sides of his head,
and leading him up into a front face lock. On the outside
of the ropes Ray Lopes steps back into the ring, only to
be caught with a swift kendo stick shot to the abdomen by
the kneeling Dude Job. Plague easily gets out of the
front face lock of Ataxia and irish whips him to the
ropes, waiting for the masked man to return before
lifting him up and laying out to drop him back-first on
the stop sign. With both of them on the mat Dude Job
stands up and goes to town on Ray Lopes with the kendo
stick, working him over so bad that he is leaned up
against the ropes. Dude Job pulls back and with a
baseball swing cracks the stick across Lopes' face;
resulting in him backflipping over the top rope, and
crashing to the concrete floor. Missy Janson - RAY
LOPES has been eliminated! Nick Burst - See
ya, Ray! Bobby Shavonie -
Geez, that was quick! Dude Job turns
around, discarding the kendo stick to the outside of the
ring now that it has been splintered in half, as both
referees check on Ray on the outside. Missy Janson -
Entering next... from Damnation, U.S.A.... REDEMPTION! Nick Burst -
Redemption! You have to assume he's coming into this
match looking for a chance at... well... Redemption! Bobby Shavonie -
Well said, Nick. Redemption steps
out from the back and looks at the various weapons on the
stage. Taking a hold of a steel chair and pulling it from
the entrance way he turns to the ring, and jogs down the
ramp. Sliding in head first Redemption first sees Plague
and destroys him with a chair shot straight to the skull.
Turning around Redemption sees Dude Job coming at him and
drives the top edge of the chair into DJ's stomach,
bending him over near the middle of the ring. Taking the
chair into both hands Redemption holds it up over his
head and brings the seat down onto the exposed back of
his opponent, sending Dude Job to his stomach in a great
deal of pain. Seeing an advantage that he can't just pass
up Redemption discards the chair and reaches down,
grabbing DJ by his hair, and picks him up to his feet
leading him to the ropes. As Redemption tries to push
Dude Job over the top rope, Ataxia has finally composed
himself and notices the steel chair that Redemption had
just discarded. He goes to pick it up but it is stomped
down upon by Plague who throws a right hand into his
face, backing Ataxia off a step. Now Plague bends over
and places both hands on the chair, but Ataxia runs right
back in and boots Plague across the side of his face
spinning him around slightly. Wrapping both arms around
Plague's waist Ataxia tries to lift him up for a german
suplex but receives a back elbow to his face for his
efforts. On the nearby side of the ring Redemption has
managed to get Dude Job's right leg over the top rope,
but that's as far as he has gotten; and is backed off
with a headbutt to the face by Dude Job, who does
everything he can to prevent himself from behind
eliminated. Redemption staggers back towards the middle
of the ring where he sees the steel chair he had brought
into the ring and extends his arms downward to grab it,
but gets caught with an uplifting kick to the face that
shoots his body upright from Plague; who ends up in
possession of the chair. Swinging it wildly at
Redemption, Plague puts all of his strength into the
chairshot only for Redemption to move out of the way; but
it's not all for nothing as Plague hits a glancing blow
with the top of the chair to Dude Job's face, knocking
him down to his rear. Sensing a chance at a huge
advantage Ataxia runs back in to join in the action and
leaps through the air, dropkicking Redemption upon his
back. He is jerked forward and crashes into Plague,
sending both Redemption and Plague over the top rope.
They desperately claw at the ring ropes to keep
themselves from being eliminated as Ataxia shifts his
sights to Dude Job, standing him up and trying to push
him over the top on the same side of the ring that Plague
and Redemption are dangling off of. Bobby Shavonie -
This match has only been about doing damage with weapons
and trying to get eliminations! Nick Burst -
That's what it was meant to be, Bobby. There's no point
in fucking around and weakening an opponent when a chance
encounter can result in an elimination! From outside of
the ring Redemption punches Ataxia from behind Dude Job,
and then springboards up to the top rope to take Ataxia
out with a leaping missile dropkick. With Dude Job still
inside of the ring Plague reaches over the top ring cable
and grabs him around his head, trying to pull him over
the ropes with a modified sleeper hold; but it isn't
going too well with his balance not that steady on the
edge of the apron. Eventually he gives up on that attempt
and elbows DJ upon the base of his skull, knocking him
forward and thus allowing Plague a chance to get back
into the ring; no longer at risk for being eliminated.
It's at that moment that Redemption and Plague stare at
each other and come to blows in the middle of the ring;
Redemption striking first with a short left jab to the
bridge of Plague's nose. Plague returns fire with a
european uppercut under Redemption's chin, and follows it
with a lifting knee to his stomach. Using this brief
advantage Plague grabs Redemption by the fabric of his
mask and tries to toss him towards the ropes, but
Redemption reverses it; unable to toss Plague over the
ring cables, but managing to whip him back-first into the
ropes. Bouncing off of them Plague comes back and nails
Redemption with a leaping forearm to the face, and hops
right back up to his feet. So completely focused on
Redemption, Plague doesn't see Ataxia or Dude Job already
getting back up to their feet nearby and doesn't bother
with either of them. As Plague lays a boot to the fallen
Redemption, Ataxia bends down and takes possession of the
dented stop sign he had brought into the ring earlier. Plague turns
around at the very last second and delivers a superkick
to Ataxia's masked face; not only causing him to drop the
stop sign to the mat, but he is sent flying over the top
rope. It seems like he is going to be able to hold on
after Plague nailed him with The Vaccine, but his grip
isn't strong enough and he collapses to the floor with
both feet touching the concrete. Missy Janson -
ATAXIA has been eliminated! Ataxia stands up
on the outside and has to be restrained by the referee's
so that he doesn't get back into the ring; and he's
guided towards the back. Bobby Shavonie -
Plague with a huge elimination there! Nick Burst - I'd
say. Ataxia didn't even see it coming. Bobby Shavonie -
The introduction of weapons into this bout has made this
a very unpredictable contest, where you have to keep your
wits about you at all time. Nick Burst - And
so far, we've seen the impact that not keeping your head
on a swivel will have. Missy Janson - Out
next... from Parts Unknown... THE JACKRABBIT! Nick Burst -
Here's the former Tag Team Champion, The Jackrabbit! Bobby Shavonie -
And if he's half as angry as I think he is following that
hard fought loss to Talon, he may be the most dangerous
entrant! The Jackrabbit
emerges from backstage to a huge reception, but he has a
stern look on his face showing he is keeping it all
business as he runs down the ramp. As he climbs into the
ring Jackrabbit starts to hit anything that moves in
front of him, first decking Plague with an elbow shot to
the mouth; then turning around and leveling Dude Job with
a flying forearm strike. Popping right back up to his
feet he catches Redemption approaching rapidly and backs
him off with a boot to the stomach, then reaches around
his head to grab a front face lock; leading into a stiff
DDT that spikes the masked head of Redemption into the
mat. As a result of the move the fans lose their
composure and get very loud for The Jackrabbit as he
watches Redemption roll out of the ring under the bottom
rope, trying to catch a breather. Glancing around The
Jackrabbit sees neither of his two valid opponents are
ready to fight so he takes it out on the weapons that
remain in the ring. He kicks the stop sign with such
force that it slides out of the ring like a frisbee and
crashes into the steel guardrail with a huge clanking
sound upon impact. He turns his body and bends over to
grab a hold of the steel chair that Redemption brought
into the ring, and simply tosses it to the outside over
the top rope. At this very moment there are no weapons in
the ring, only laid out bodies until Plague rolls over
onto all fours. Moving in at a fast pace Jackrabbit
stomps him across his back, then spins his body around to
rush back at Dude Job to punt him across the face.
Dominating the control of this match for the time being
you'd think The Jackrabbit would pause to catch his
breath, but instead he goes right back to Plague and
reaches down to grab him around both sides of his head.
Prying him off the canvas it looks like Jackrabbit in
full control until Dude Job re-inserts himself into the
fray, nailing his opponent with a running shoulder charge
from behind. What would usually just send The Jackrabbit
down to the mat actually sends him stumbling forward into
the ropes, almost losing his balance but keeping his feet
planted on the mat prevents him from toppling to the
outside. As Jackrabbit turns around ready to go after DJ
he realizes that he has already moved on to Plague, and
has picked up where JR left off; as Dude Job gets Plague
back to his feet. Squaring off with each other Dude Job
nails Plague with a short right hand, followed by a left
hook then tries to cap it off with a right toe kick. The
boot is deflected with both hands of Plague coming in for
the save, and he retaliates with a back elbow strike to
the right side of Dude Job's face knocking him into a
stumble towards his left. Walking right into a middle
kick from Plague's right leg that sends all of the oxygen
in DJ's lungs up his windpipe and out of his mouth. He
collapses to his hands and knees gasping for air and
Plague is ready for the kill when he is tapped on the
shoulder from behind. He turns around and sees what the
cameras had missed, which was Redemption gaining
possession of an acoustic guitar and getting back into
the ring to tap Plague on the shoulder. As soon as he
turns around the guitar explodes into hundreds of pieces
as it is slammed down across the top of Plague's head;
with really only the neck of the instrument and the
strings attached to a few shards of wood. The fans
explode as Redemption watches Plague fall down to his
back, then turns around and struts his stuff while
pretending to strum on the guitar. The showboating is a
bit of personality that Redemption hardly shows and it
gives the fans a reason to cheer out in approval, but
that ends rather abruptly as The Jackrabbit grows tied of
being just an onlooking participant; and steps in to grab
Redemption from behind, spinning him around into a collar
and elbow tie up that forces him to drop the broken
guitar. Securing Redemption's arms under his he gets
really close to his opponent then with all of his
strength sends Redemption flipping over his head with a
double arm underhook suplex. The crowd feverishly
applauds the huge move but they see what Jackrabbit
doesn't see, which is Dude Job getting up to his feet
ready to pounce on The Jackrabbit in his momentary lapse
in judgment. Jumping up and
landing on his back, DJ sets in a sleeper hold which
completely backfires when The Jackrabbit heads to the
ropes and flips him over; releasing himself from the
submission, while also nearly eliminating Dude Job with
very little effort. Thinking he has gotten rid of one
more adversary The Jackrabbit walks away and turns back
towards the other two men in the match, while Dude Job
holds onto the bottom rope with both hands; his feet
dangling over the concrete floor with OWF Official Calvin
Mills up close to make sure he hasn't been eliminated.
Back in the ring Plague snatches up The Jackrabbit from
behind in a full nelson hold and tries to lift him up
into the air, but his opponent isn't having any of it. As
soon as Jackrabbit lands back on his feet he swings his
head backwards, connecting with the brow of Plague, and
loosens up the hold he has been set into. Instead of just
pulling his arms free The Jackrabbit keeps his left arm
entangled with Plague as he dips around behind his
opponent, escaping the full nelson and applying a
hammerlock upon him; torquing his left arm to the sky.
That weak submission is only where it starts as everyone
watches The Jackrabbit dip his head under Plague's right
arm, keeping the hammerlock applied behind his back, with
the intentions of suplexing him. Those intentions become
reality but Plague isn't going down that easy and lands
on his feet behind Jackrabbit. Nick Burst - First
time you'll see some actual wrestling in a match like
this. Bobby Shavonie -
Well the ring is devoid of weapons right now thanks to
The Jackrabbit, so what else is there left to do? Nick Burst - I
don't know, maybe trying to eliminate one another! Bobby Shavonie -
So you want this match to be short and sweet? Nick Burst - And
bloody, don't forget bloody. He engages him in
a reverse waist lock which is a point of contention as
the two men struggle in this hold for a few seconds. That
sends a camera cutting back to Dude Job who has pulled
himself back up onto the edge of the apron moments ago,
and now returns to his feet. Glancing inside of the ring
to see Plague and Jackrabbit going at it, and Redemption
recovering a good distance away, Dude Job smiles as he
realizes no one is concerned with him. He decides it's
time to make a statement by heading to the nearest corner
and ascending the rungs of the turnbuckle, making it up
to the top rope in almost record time. He perches himself
perfectly and is in range of Plague and The Jackrabbit,
ready to rain on their parade. It's too bad because
before he has a chance to do anything a recently
recovered Redemption runs in, and flips his body through
the air to deliver a twisting spin kick to the face of
DJ; sending him flying off the top turnbuckle and
crashing into the steel guard rail, before ultimately
collapsing to the concrete floor. Bobby Shavonie -
Oh my god! Nick Burst -
Redemption hit the Unspeakable Horror on Dude Job, and he
fucking flew! What an elimination! Missy Janson -
DUDE JOB has been eliminated! Redemption smiles
as he leans over the top rope, looking at Dude Job in
pain on the concrete floor as Dean Stern and Calvin Mills
move in to check on his condition. Bobby Shavonie -
That was a nasty fall for Dude Job! Nick Burst -
Serves him right for trying to go up to the top rope like
that after being tossed over the top. You can't afford to
let your guard down for a second in matches like these. Bobby Shavonie -
One mistake is all it takes, and then the dreams of
challenging for the OWF World Championship at Holiday
Bash disappear just like that! Missy Janson -
Next to the ring... from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania...
TRENT STEEL! Bobby Shavonie -
How ironic. Ataxia and Dude Job are gone by the time
Trent Steel enters! Nick Burst - That
actually will help him, I think. Now he can just be the
son of a bitch we all know. Trent Steel walks
out and immediately turns to the entrance way, grabbing a
closed up table and yanking it from the props. He lays it
on the steel grates of the stage and returns to the
entrance way, looking at a bevvy of weapons to choose
from. Nick Burst - And
would you look at that, he's collecting weapons to bring
to the ring. Bobby Shavonie -
Classic Trent Steel. Since Steel is
taking a long time to make his entrance the production
team cuts back to the ring to see Redemption pull Plague
off of The Jackrabbit, only to level JR with a vicious
elbow strike to the base of his skull. Plague is pissed
and he turns around ready to go at Redemption but he
holds up his hands and then points down at The
Jackrabbit, who is only now getting up to his hands and
knees. Redemption moves in and grabs Jackrabbit around
the waist and lifts him up to a standing position then
calls for Plague to join him, and he does; assisting
Redemption in tossing The Jackrabbit over the top rope.
Or so it seems that way as Redemption stops and tries to
dump both JR and Plague over the top, and it looks like
it may work. Planting his left buttcheek on the edge of
the ring apron, with both hands held tightly to the
second rope, The Jackrabbit holds on for dear life while
Plague lands back-first on the unprotected edge of he
apron; barely hanging on to the bottom rope for support.
Trying to do anything he can Redemption kicks at Plague's
face through the ropes, nearly knocking him out before
turning his attention back to the Jackrabbit and
repeating the same process with him with the same
results. Finally Trent Steel comes back into the picture
as he lays the wooden table on the edge of the ring
apron, and starts throwing the weapons he has collected
into the ring. There are so many that it's hard to take
an inventory but a wooden mop, a cheese grater and a big
wad of barbed wire are some of the many toys Steel has
brought into the fray; including the table which he also
slides into the ring. Nick Burst - Oh
shit, this match is about to get much more heavy Doc. Bobby Shavonie -
My name is Bobby. Doc hasn't come out yet. Nick Burst - It
was a reference to a movi-- you know what, nevermind. Getting into the
ring Trent first grabs a baseball bat off the mat, and
rears it up behind his head. He attacks Redemption from
behind, cracking the wooden baseball bat over the back of
his head. The crowd gasps as they see Redemption fall to
the mat kicking his legs in pain, while Trent Steel
throws his broken end of the bat into the air and walks
back to the pile of crap he brought down from the stage.
Fumbling through it he grabs a hold of the cheese grater
and holds it in the air; when the fans give a mixed
reaction he tosses it down to the mat, nodding his head
with agreement. He grabs the wooden mop and having just
used a baseball bat, it seems fruitless to bring that
into the fray as a weapon so he chucks that over the top
rope and to the floor. All while this is going on both
Plague and The Jackrabbit have gotten themselves out of
the awkward perdicament they were stationed in outside of
the ring by returning back inside of the ring ropes on
the canvas of the squared circle. Finally Trent Steel
settles and takes hold of the barbed wire, and wraps it
around his right hand repeatedly. His own blood starts to
come from his palm but he doesn't show any signs of pain,
while The Jackrabbit gets up to his knees very aware of
what is going on in front of him. Plague isn't so lucky
and as he gets up to his knees he is punches right
between the eyes by Steel's barbed wire covered hand;
ripping the flesh open above his eyebrows. Bobby Shavonie -
Oh my gosh... That's sickening! Plague kind of
just stays there as blood starts to roll down his face
allowing Trent to turn towards The Jackrabbit. He's not
having any of it and runs in, booting Steel upon his face
which knocks him down to his back. Seeing Plague in a
daze The Jackrabbit lifts him up, placing him back on his
feet leaning against the ring ropes. Once there The
Jackrabbit slaps him across the face with his right hand,
then with the left before spinning himself around in a
circle twirling his fingers in the air. As soon as his
shoulders are squared to Plague, The Jackrabbit unleashes
a furious open handed slap across the face of Plague;
sending him flipping over the top rope, and crashing to
the floor due to the move Jackrabbit calls Slap Happy. Nick Burst - Holy
shit! Missy Janson -
PLAGUE has been eliminated! Bobby Shavonie -
Plague is gone! He started this match first, and now he's
finished just like the other three who started out
Brawltopia! Nick Burst - He
had an impressive run, but The Jackrabbit is a man on a
mission here! Bobby Shavonie - I
think you're right, Nick. He's bringing the same fire he
had against Talon, and doesn't seem to be letting his
aches and pains get to him. Nick Burst - Not
yet anyways! Missy Janson -
Introducing next... from Tombstone, Arizona... DOC
HOLLOWAY! Nick Burst - And
now his tag team partner is here! Bobby Shavonie -
Well we don't know that for sure, Nick. Doc Holloway comes
out from the back looking in great shape as he sternly
heads down the aisle, his focus on the ring alone. Bobby Shavonie -
Doc Holloway and The Jackrabbit were a team by chance.
Now that they don't have the belts anymore, who knows how
they feel about each other. Nick Burst - Well
they'd be better off to work together and try to be the
last two men standing. That's just my opinion, and I
think they will. Bobby Shavonie -
We will see! As soon as he gets
into the ring Doc Holloway looks at The Jackrabbit,
before he is attacked by Trent Steel who still has the
barbed wire wrapped around his fist. Doc Holloway
sidesteps him and tosses Steel back-first into the corner
and approaches to deliver rapid fire fists to his
abdomen, all the while keeping a close eye on the right
hand of his opponent. The Jackrabbit comes in and grabs
the right arm of Trent, holding it back so that Doc can
continue his offense which brings a bit of a cheer from
the crowd. While holding Steel's arm Jackrabbit decides
to unarm him by carefully unwrapping the barbed wire from
his hand, and discarding it to the outside which brings a
sigh of relief from the crowd. Feeling like Holloway has
Trent under control The Jackrabbit turns around to head
back to the center of the ring, and is booted in the
stomach by Redemption. From there he is bent over and has
his head tucked between his opponent's legs, as
Redemption sets up for the piledriver he has dubbed
Undeserved Salvation. It is quickly countered by The
Jackrabbit who back body drops Redemption over his head,
sending him crashing to the mat; but Jackrabbit remains
on guard knowing that was only a temporary solution. He
moves in rather quickly but hangs back, waiting for
Redemption to get up under his own power. Eventually he
does so and turns around to see The Jackrabbit throwing a
right hand right at his face; but what nobody has noticed
until now is that Redemption holds the cheese grater
Trent Steel discarded in his hands and brings it up to
cover his face. The bare knuckles of Jackrabbit hit the
cheese grater and he immediately yells out in pain,
dropping to his knees as he clutches his left hand around
his right wrist. Blood is already coming out of the
various abrasions suffered from punching the cheese
grater and the fans in the audience can be heard
groaning, feeling nauseated by the multiple screens set
up in the arena showing the messed up hand of The
Jackrabbit. Discarding the cheese grater to the outside
Redemption looks down at The Jackrabbit and remains
motionless, waiting his opponent's next move. Back in the corner
both Doc Holloway and Trent Steel haven't made a single
bit of progress on with one another. Doc's first instinct
is to cause pain, but at the same time he would be happy
to eliminate Trent; which leaves him in a limbo where he
isn't sure on what he wants to do. Seeing Doc Holloway's
back completely exposed Redemption heads over to the
now-smaller pile of weapons Steel brought in and grabs
onto a lead pipe. Coming in as fast as he can he cracks
Doc between his shoulder blades and he drops to his
knees, moving away on his own will in a great deal of
pain; the first bit of it he has really experienced since
entering the match. Redemption looks at Steel and decides
not to attack him, choosing instead to wrap the lead pipe
around the throat of Doc Holloway; choking the life out
of him. There are no rules in this contest so there is
nothing either referee can do to stop this, and
Jackrabbit isn't in good enough shape to intervene; and
Trent Steel has no interest in doing so. Eventually
Redemption lets go and turns around to see Trent Steel
walking out of the corner confronting him in the center
of the ring. Redemption doesn't make a single move except
hand the lead pipe over to Trent, who takes hold of it
without a bit of hesitation. At that very second
Redemption is grabbed from behind by The Jackrabbit and
tossed shoulder-first through the ropes; making contact
with the ring post. The Jackrabbit turns around and sees
Trent Steel in possession of the lead pipe now, and sees
Doc Holloway down on his knees in a great deal of pain,
and loses it. Charging forward The Jackrabbit leaps
through the air and hits a body splash that is usually
meant to be delivered in the corner, but it sends Steel
stumbling back to the ropes; while JR lands on his feet.
Without missing a beat The Jackrabbit builds up as much
speed as he can and leaps through the air, dropkicking
Trent across his face which sends him backflipping over
the top rope and crashing down to the concrete floor;
lead pipe still in hand even as he is eliminated. Missy Janson -
TRENT STEEL has been eliminated! Bobby Shavonie -
The Jackrabbit strikes again! Nick Burst - He
thought Trent Steel was the one who used the pipe on
Holloway, and he made him pay for it! Missy Janson -
Coming to the ring next... from Parts Unknown... EJ
SLAYER! Nick Burst - This
is crazy Bobby. I just realized that EJ Slayer, Freedom
Kid and Eclipse are going to be the last three entrants! Bobby Shavonie - I
don't know much about EJ Slayer but I hear a lot of
people talking about him as a threat to win. Nick Burst - I've
watched tape of him, and he is fully capable of walking
out of here with a World Title shot. But so are the other
two I mentioned, and the remaining three in the ring
right now! EJ Slayer walks
out from the back to mixed reaction from the crowd, most
of which recognize him from his run in the OWF years ago.
As soon as he gets to the top of the ramp he runs down,
directing himself towards the ring and slides in ready to
go at it with anyone who comes at him. First up is The
Jackrabbit who eats a big boot to the face, dropping him
down to the mat as Slayer moves on to grab Doc Holloway
and lift him up to his feet; seeting him up for an
exploder suplex. Popping his hips EJ Slayer delivers that
suplex and sends Holloway onto his back in a great deal
of pain. Without breaking a sweat Slayer gets up to his
feet in time to see Redemption running at him from the
side; and scoops him up into a standing firemans carry,
before driving Redemption down upon the back of his head
with a death valley driver. Returning to his feet EJ
Slayer stands over three fallen men, all of whom are
considered some of the best in the OWF; all of which he
laid out in the short amount of time he has been in the
ring. Bobby Shavonie -
Well, Slayer made a statement right off the bat! Nick Burst - I'd
fucking say! The fans are taken
back and very unsure of how to react as he heads back to
Redemption, pulling at his mask and tugging him back up
to his feet. Showing a little bit of fight Redemption
nails EJ with a right jab to the nose with such force
that blood begins to trickle out of his right nostril,
but Slayer embraces this and returns fire with a right
hand to Redemption's masked face. Not backing down a
single step Redemption pulls himself upright and
headbutts EJ Slayer upon the bridge of his nose, and some
members of the crowd start to get behind Redemption;
which is shocking enough to note. The headbutt leaves
Redemption a little dazed and he backs off to recover.
Out of nowhere Doc Holloway steps in and punches Slayer
in the gut and ducks his head between his thighs, and
before anyone knows it Holloway has EJ up in a crucifix
powerbomb position; looking to complete the Rod of
Asclepius which sends the crowd into a frenzy. Slayer is
quick to slide down Doc's back, avoiding the maneuver, as
Holloway steps forward and twirls himself around;
leveling Redemption with a discus clothesline. At that
moment The Jackrabbit gets back to his feet and rushes at
EJ Slayer, pushing him back into the nearest corner and
holding him there waiting for Doc. As if on cue Holloway
joins him and the two men begin beating the holy hell out
of EJ Slayer with vicious strikes that hit him at various
points from the waist up. As a team they irish whip him
across the ring and The Jackrabbit volunteers to be given
the same treatment from Doc, which he obliges. Irish
whipping The Jackrabbit from corner-to-corner gives JR
added momentum as he leaps into the air and crushes
Slayer against the turnbuckles with a corner body splash.
Dropping to his knees Slayer tries to seek a place to
recover but The Jackrabbit will not allow it and pushes
him back into a seated position in the corner with his
right hand. All of a sudden the adrenaline wears off for
Jackrabbit and the pain in his right hand comes back with
full force. He has to walk away from EJ and leaves Doc to
continue the assault while he deals with his injury.
Holloway is taken off guard and gets caught with a
uppercut to his jaw and his head is whipped backwards,
sending him stumbling back on the heels of his boots for
the moment. Returning to his feet with a tiny bit of
distance between the two, Slayer looks to close it up by
spinning around while curling his right arm behind his
ear and thrusts it towards Doc Holloway's face. At the
last possible second Holloway ducks under the rolling
elbow and winds up behind EJ, back-to-back with him at
this point in time. That doesn't last as he twirls his
body around and looks for a discus clothesline to the
back of EJ Slayer's head, but as if he has eyes in the
back of his head he drops to a crouching position on the
mat. The force that Doc put into the clothesline attempt
sends him into the nearest corner chest-first, instantly
trying to turn himself around to get back into the match.
As he does so he is met with repeated shoulder charges to
his stomach from EJ Slayer, who does everything in his
power to keep Doc hung up with no way of escape. Seeing
his former partner is in trouble The Jackrabbit stops
worrying about his bloodied hand and looks on the mat,
looking for some sort of weapon to use. There isn't much
left for him to choose from so he grabs the wooden table
that Trent Steel had brought in when he entered, and
holds it up with both hands in front of his face.
Launching it forward the face of the table crashes into
the back of EJ Slayer, dazing him enough that he lays off
Holloway. Holding his gut with his right hand Doc motions
with his left towards the table and The Jackrabbit knows
exactly what to do next, and locks both of the steel legs
of it into place; before flipping it over, completely set
up. Stepping in Doc Holloway ducks his head between
Slayer's legs and lifts him up over his shoulders ready
for an Alabama slam. While he tries to keep a tight grip
of EJ Slayer, The Jackrabbit is clocked from behind by a
running elbow strike from Redemption; who doesn't leave
the scene without laying The Jackrabbit on top of the
table just as Holloway flips Slayer off his shoulders.
Slayer crashes down on Jackrabbit's abdomen and both men
crash through the table, breaking it into thousands of
splintering pieces as a result of the Alabama slam. The
two men lay stacked on top of one another and it's only
now that Doc Holloway realizes he harmed The Jackrabbit
in the process of taking EJ Slayer down a peg or two. He seemingly shows
remorse but he has no time to grieve as Redemption runs
forward and executes a shotgun dropkick with both boots
directed to the chest of Doc Holloway. He is sent flying
backwards into the same corner he was just pressed up
against and finds himself in trouble when Redemption
climbs up to the second rope and begins firing away at
his face with repeated right hands. The fans don't count
out the number of strikes like they would for someone
they fully support, but if they had they would have been
cut off at about six or seven before Doc reaches both of
his hands up between Redemption's legs and flips him over
the top rope. Cameras flash and the fans gasp, but
somehow Redemption manages to grab onto the top rope with
both hands where he dangles with his boots just feet away
from touching the concrete. Doc Holloway moves away, back
towards the center of the ring, while Redemption skins
the cat by backflipping over the ropes and landing back
on his feet on the canvas of the squared circle; avoiding
elimination. Instead of going right for Doc Holloway who
doesn't have his eye on the ball at this time, Redemption
turns his full attention to Slayer and concentrates on
bringing him up off of The Jackrabbit and leading him
towards the ropes. This move unintentionally assists The
Jackrabbit, who writhes in pain while trying to push as
much of the broken table out from under him and to the
outside of the ring. Almost right off the bat Redemption
manages to get EJ's right leg hung over the top rope and
bends down to work on the second leg, but Slayer holds
onto not only the ropes but the body of Redemption to
keep himself in the match. When they reach a stalemate
Slayer unleashes a series of clubbing forearm blows to
the back of the bent-over Redemption that are so full of
power that Redemption collapses to his knees and has to
bail on his attempts to eliminate Slayer. Nick Burst - Right
now it's anyone's match to win. Bobby Shavonie -
This match has sped by for some, but I bet for those who
have been inside of the ropes the minutes feel like
hours. Nick Burst - And
no matter who wins, they will earn this; and consider
this, we still have two more entrants! Bobby Shavonie - I
don't know how much more my heart can take! Nick Burst - Then
they better find me a replacement to call the Christmas
Tree Match with at Holiday Bash if you can't stomach
this. Unhooking himself
from the ropes EJ Slayer walks forward but is grabbed by
his trunks by Redemption and pulled forward, causing
Slayer to shoulder charge Doc Holloway; knocking him down
to his back. Redemption immediately rolls to the ropes
and glares through his mask as an angry Doc Holloway
stands up and sees EJ Slayer standing his ground, and the
two meet in the middle of the ring for a showdown. A
right hand from Doc catches the left cheek bone of
Slayer, but he shrugs off the pain and strikes back with
a left jab to the mouth of Holloway; followed by a
backhanded slap with his open right hand. This highly
offends Doc Holloway who stands up straight and wraps
both of his hands around Slayer's throat, trying to choke
the life out of him without any intention of moving
towards the ropes for an elimination. In fact he actually
manages to lifts EJ Slayer into a double handed
chokehold, but EJ isn't going down that easy and with
both hands pounds downward on the elbow joints of Doc;
resulting in him being dropped back down to his feet. He
needs to pause to take a breather and The Jackrabbit
moves in from behind, as recovered as he's going to be,
and locks Slayer in a reverse waistlock. He pops his hips
and german suplexes Slayer onto the back of his head,
laying him out and shaking the entire ring while also
expending so much energy that Jackrabbit cannot
immediately get right back to his feet. He certainly
tries and manages to keep himself a step ahead of Slayer,
but gets helped up the rest of the way by Doc Holloway
and the two men stand side-by-side; drawing a huge
reaction from the fans. Without any words exchanged they
simultaneously reach down and grab a hold of EJ Slayer,
pulling him up to his feet and immediately laying his
back against the ring ropes. Doc takes a hold of EJ's
left arm with his left hand while Jackrabbit grabs onto
Slayer's right wrist with his right palm. A double-irish
whip sends Slayer across the ring but he has enough
mental capability to hook both of his arms around the top
ring cable as he hits the ropes with his back, preventing
himself from involuntarily being sent back towards the
two men waiting to do damage to him. As a team Holloway
and Jackrabbit take off into a sprint right next to each
other, both of them directing themselves towards Slayer
and not settling for anything except for full speed. The
only problem is that Redemption has gotten up to his feet
and runs right behind them, grabbing The Jackrabbit by
the back of his head and sending him vaulting over the
top rope and crashing down to the concrete floor. Doc pulls up and
stops short of attacking EJ Slayer once again as he
glares at The Jackrabbit on the outside with the fans
booing heavily. Missy Janson - THE
JACKRABBIT has been eliminated! Nick Burst - That
son of a bitch Redemption! Bobby Shavonie -
Just when Doc and JR seemed to be getting on the same
page, Redemption comes out of nowhere and ends that
dream! Nick Burst - I
guess you have to give him credit. He's been in here the
longest of anyone left, and is showing the world he wants
this! Missy Janson -
Entering now... from Parma Heights, Ohio... FREEDOM KID! Bobby Shavonie -
He may want this, but now the OWF Network Champion is
entering the fray! OWF Officials Dean
Stern and Calvin Mills go to check on The Jackrabbit, all
while Redemption stares at him through his mask over the
top rope. Back on the stage Freedom Kid comes out,
receiving a huge pop from the crowd on his way down to
the ring. Nick Burst - Oh my
god! Bobby Shavonie -
Redemption is gone now, too! With the cameras
focused on Freedom Kid on his way down to the ring, the
audience at home misses out on seeing Doc Holloway toss
Redemption over the top rope to avenge his former tag
team partners elimination. Missy Janson -
REDEMPTION has been eliminated! Nick Burst -
Redemption just got rid of The Jackrabbit, and Doc made
him pay for it! Now the final four have been determined
in the blink of a drunk man's eye. It's Doc Holloway,
Freedom Kid, EJ Slayer and... Freedom Kid
finally gets into the ring, making himself legal while
The Jackrabbit and Redemption lay on the concrete floor
side-by-side. The cameras immediately cut away to head to
a shot of the stage, leaving the ring for the moment. Bobby Shavonie -
There's only one person left to enter. Nick Burst -
That's why I paused. If she shows, what condition will
she be in? Bobby Shavonie -
You're about to find out... as Eclipse returns to an OWF
ring for the first time in two months! Missy Janson - And
the last entrant to the Brawltopia Match... from
Anchorage, Alaska... ECLIPSE! The full attention
of everyone in the ring and in the crowd is set on the
stage, and out of nowhere Eclipse comes out through the
curtains to a huge explosion of cheers. Bobby Shavonie -
She's here! Almost immediately
the camera focuses in on her injured left arm, and seeing
how it is being held up. As she walks down the ramp it
becomes clear that a metal brace with a grooved forearm
plate is proctecting Eclipse from further injury. Under
that is many layers of white tape, but that's all that
can be seen by the cameras as Eclipse makes her way to
ringside. The crowd is heard chanting "Welcome Back!
Welcome Back!" at Eclipse which she completely
ignores, and pulls her black baseball mat out of the
sling she has over her back. She gets into the ring and
immediately steps into a staredown with Freedom Kid, as
Doc Holloway is concerned with The Jackrabbit and EJ
Slayer is trying to gain a much needed second wind to
keep himself rolling in this contest. Eclipse smiles,
drops the bat, and holds up her arms ready to fight;
forcing Freedom Kid to return the favor. Her first moves
back in a ring for two months are a middle kick to
Freedom Kid's stomach, a high left kick to the side of
his head and all of it capped off with a lifting knee to
his stomach. Taking all of this punishment FK is still
able to compose himself rather quickly and throws a wide
right haymaker towards Eclipse's face, which she blocks
with the steel plating covering her left forearm. As soon
as contact occurs Freedom Kid turns around and focuses
all of his attention to his right arm which is caused a
good amount of pain by deflecting off Eclipse's
contraption covering her injury. Stumbling around Freedom
Kid walks right into a rolling elbow from EJ Slayer, who
is riding high on an adrenaline rush and now he steps up
to face-off with Eclipse; taking FK's spot. Testing the
brace for himself Slayer punts the left forearm of
Eclipse with his right foot and while his shot is pure,
Eclipse shows little signs of pain. Thinking on his feet
Slayer pops up to the balls of his soles and fires a
one-two combination of alternating left and right jabs to
his opponent's face, which seem to have some effect on
her. Keeping on top of Eclipse he brings a right knee up
into her stomach and follows it not a second with a
lifting left knee to the same point, knocking her back a
step. On the other side of the ring Doc Holloway has seen
The Jackrabbit taken to the back and turns himself
around, looking for the nearest body to his current
location in the ring. While Slayer tries to
systematically use his brawling style to wear down
Eclipse, with little retort from her offensively, Doc
looks and sees the Network Champion just feet away and
comes up from behind him. He snatches him up into an
abdominal stretch but doesn't intend to keep it as a
submission, even as he wrenches backwards for a few
seconds once the hold is applied. When FK least expects
it Holloway swings him up into the air, holding him
horizontally over the mat, then brings Freedom Kid's back
down upon his bent knee which silences the crowd due to
the sheer impact of the move. While Freedom Kid rolls
around on the mat holding his back EJ Slayer has finally
backed Eclipse against the ropes and winds up for one
final punch, which he throws forward; having it caught in
the palm of Eclipse's right hand just inches away from
her face. Using this hold Eclipse sends EJ Slayer flying
over the top rope and he would surely be eliminated if
she had just let go of him, but now with both hands
Eclipse keeps the right arm of Slayer over the top rope.
The fans explode when they see Eclipse pull backwards on
the arm to pull both of her legs into the air,
grapevining EJ's arm to set him into an elevated cross
armbreaker submission over the top rope. Nick Burst - What
a perfect move! If EJ Slayer somehow manages to free
himself from this, he will fall to the concrete floor! Bobby Shavonie -
Eclipse looks like she isn't skipping a beat tonight,
even after the beating EJ was giving her. Still on his
rampage Doc Holloway moves away from Freedom Kid and
heads all the way across the ring to mess with Eclipse's
firm control on Slayer. He reaches down and lifts her up,
unintentionally allowing EJ Slayer to sit himself down on
the edge of the ring apron escaping the arm bar, while
also avoiding elimination at the same time. When the
cameras cut back to Eclipse he is seated on the top rope
and Doc Holloway quickly turns himself around, going
back-to-back with her, to secure both of his hands under
her arms and holding them out away from her body. Moving
towards the center of the ring Doc pulls Eclipse off the
ropes and into a crucifix powerbomb position, which he
delivers by tossing his opponent over his head so that
she lands on the back of her neck; resulting in Eclipse
rolling over onto her stomach, holding the back of her
head following the completion of the Rod of Asclepius.
All the excitement the fans had built up for not just
Eclipse, but Doc Holloway earlier in the contest, is all
gone now as they see exactly what is going on with
Holloway dominating the ring and leaving a wake of
destruction in his path. He doesn't stop for a second and
actually grabs EJ Slayer through the ropes, pulling him
back into the ring where he lifts him up over his
shoulder; then runs to the nearest corner to bring EJ's
back into the middle and top turnbuckle. Doc spins around
and tosses Slayer off his shoulder to complete an
Oklahoma slam on his opponent, and rises to his feet with
his eyes on his three adversaries. Bobby Shavonie -
Something snapped in Doc when Jackrabbit was eliminated. Nick Burst - He
was protecting that guy for a long time, and when he only
has himself to worry about he excels. It's that simple. Having his pick of
the litter Doc Holloway steps forward to go back around
the circle, starting with Freedom Kid, but as he gets
close he drops to a knee. Even though he didn't suffer
horribly in the match he had to start the show, nor the
impromptu cash in that lost him his half of the Tag
Titles, Doc Holloway is starting to find it hard to keep
himself going stamina-wise. This is a slight setback and
while it allows Freedom Kid to get up to his hands and
knees, ready to head to the ropes, Holloway takes point
and decides to help FK towards his destination. With both
arms locked around his opponent's abdomen Doc Holloway
tries to push Freedom Kid over the top rope. When that
doesn't work he grabs at his tights and starts pulling
him up, actually managing to get Freedom Kid's upper body
on the outside of the ring with his lower body dangling
over the canvas. Zooming out the camera man at ringside
captures Eclipse comingupon the bat she had brought into
this match, and discarded for a fair fight with FK, and
pulls it into her possession. Holding onto it with both
hands as she rises up to her feet she comes up from
behind Doc Holloway and drives the top of the bat into
the base of his spine with so much force that he falls
paralyzed to both knees. Freedom Kid is able to pull
himself back into the ring, a little taken back by what
just happened but he is even more surprised when Eclipse
tosses him her bat; implying he should use it on Doc. The
fans cheer out and want FK to go after Holloway, but he
immediately tosses it back to Eclipse and shakes his head
from side-to-side. She shrugs and takes the butt of the
bat and drives it down to the back of Holloway's head,
flattening him out upon his stomach. Again Eclipse offers
the bat to Freedom Kid but he slaps it away, out of
Eclipse's hands, and she retaliates by bringing a left
forearm straight to his masked face. Toppling over like
he was just shot in the face Freedom Kid hits the mat and
remains motionless as the steel plating on Eclipse's left
arm was instrumental in the damage he suffered. Turning
back to Eclipse the cameras capture a rare moment of
weakness in her as he fully extends that left arm and
pumps her hand, eventually falling to her knees wincing
in pain. Nick Burst - I
told you! That arm isn't in good fucking shape! Bobby Shavonie -
She has been using it as a weapon, and she paid for it in
my eyes. Nick Burst - She
wasn't thinking about her own well being. When has
Eclipse ever done that? She's fighting on heart, instinct
and primal fucking rage; and coming back this fast, with
shoddy medical work done, may cost her. EJ Slayer finally
gets up to a kneeling position and looks to see his three
opponents in various states of disarray, and is no longer
interested in taking his time to achieve the element of
surprise. Instead he stands up to his feet takes hold of
Eclipse's bat, and turns his attention to Doc Hollway who
is still fighting his hardest to remain a threat in this
match; and shows it by rising up to a crouched position.
Taking advantage of his stance Slayer runs in with the
bat held high above his head when Holloway moves in and
pulls EJ up into a standing firemans carry; sure to head
away from the middle of the ring. Securing EJ Slayer, who
has lost a hold of the baseball bat as it rolls out of
the ring, over his shoulders he tightens in the torture
rack, which drains the life out of his opponent; but
doesn't necessarily move him any closer to advancing to
the final three in this match. Bobby Shavonie -
The move that got him the win against Adam Wilson earlier
tonight! Nick Burst - Won't
get him a win here! Submissions don't count! Doing everything
he can to fight out of the hold Slayer digs the fingers
of his right hand into Holloway's eyes, backing him up a
few steps which allows EJ to use his body weight to shift
the momentum. What happens next is a stroke of luck and
mastery of craft rolled up into one as EJ Slayer executes
a crucifix pin driver that doesn't drive Holloway
anywhere; but instead sends him flipping over the top
rope landing on his feet and toppling to the concrete
floor. Missy Janson - DOC
HOLLOWAY has been eliminated! Nick Burst - HOLY
SHIT! Bobby Shavonie -
And then there were three! EJ Slayer is laid
out on his side on the edge of the ring apron, staring at
Doc Holloway who is recently eliminated. Doc is well
aware of being eliminated and the fans give him a nice
applause as he moves towards the ramp under his own power
while EJ pulls himself back into the ring. Nick Burst -
Credit goes to Doc Holloway, he had a lot of ups and
downs tonight and he still came out fucking fighting. Bobby Shavonie -
And he went out fighting, too. Nick Burst - No
doubt. He stands up to
see Eclipse standing right in front of him, holding her
left arm a little low but still ready for a fight. Only
two seconds later Freedom Kid returns to his feet, a
little unsteady on them, but it keeps Slayer from going
right after Eclipse. The trio seem to be hung up on who
will make the first move but you can always rely on
Eclipse to solve that as she nails Slayer with a high
roundhouse kick to the side of his head. He stumbles into
range of Freedom Kid who steps forward and leaps up to
bring a lifting knee strike under EJ's jaw, causing him
to stagger backwards towards Eclipse. She unleashes a
vicious clothesline to the back of Slayer's head and he
is sent stumbling forward, remaining on his feet only
because of his resilience; and he walks right into a
hurricanrana performed by Freedom Kid which flips him
down to his back. Once again after that move Freedom Kid
and Eclipse are left as the only two competitors standing
and they don't bother revisiting the tango they started
off with last time. This time they grapple one another in
a collar and elbow tie up that Freedom Kid gets the
immediate advantage in as Eclipse's left arm isn't
providing her with much strength. Stepping forward the
Network Champion manages to force his opponent all the
way back into one of the turnbuckles and releases Eclipse
in an attempt to move on towards eliminating her. Instead
Freedom Kid has to react to Eclipse throwing her left arm
at his face, and grabs a hold of the brace. In that
moment he has a chance to deal an extreme amount of pain
to his opponent but deciding against it Freedom Kid
chooses to guide Eclipse's left arm over the top rope;
keeping it there with a hold of his right arm. All this
allows him to do is punt Eclipse upon her stomach which
forces her downwards to the mat and goes against what he
was trying to achieve when he put her in the corner in
the first place. The one kick is all Freedom Kid does to
Eclipse before bending down and trying to stand her back
up in the corner using only his left arm, still
controlling the left arm of Eclipse with his right hand.
Out of literally nowhere EJ Slayer steps in behind
Freedom Kid, sets him in a full nelson, and pops his hips
to deliver a dragon suplex; dropping FK on the back of
his head as he lays in the middle of the ring. The crowd
falls silence even as it proves the move was too much for
EJ Slayer to endure as he cannot follow up on it, and
remains laying on his back. Right now Eclipse is the only
participant in the Brawltopia Match on their feet, and
she is held up by the ropes as she collects herself
trying to formulate a plan. Trying to think a few steps
ahead of where her body is at physically Eclipse steps
forward and grabs onto the mask of Freedom Kid with her
right hand, her left used mainly for support at this
point. She grabs him around the head in a front face lock
with her right arm, which goes pretty well, but as she
moves towards a transition she is unable to put enough
power in her left arm to secure FK in a suplex hold.
Spinning out of the grasp of Eclipse, Freedom Kid stays
withing striking distance and boots her in the stomach;
moments before picking Eclipse up into a standing
firemans carry. The fans can sense he is going for the
USA Drop as he steps over to the nearest corner, but he
doesn't even get that far before Eclipse flops off his
shoulders and lands on her feet. Trying to keep momentum
on his side Freedom Kid leaps up to the middle rope and
propels himself from it, looking for a twisting cross
body splash that results in him landing chest-first on
the mat when Eclipse drops to all fours to avoid contact
with him. Returning to a
standing position at the perfect time EJ Slayer doesn't
bother going after Eclipse, but instead turns his
attention to Freedom Kid and grabs him by the back of his
mask with both hands. Bringing him up to his feet he sets
him in a front face lock, and unlike Eclipse, that he is
easily able to turn into a suplex hold. Lifting Freedom
Kid up into the air in a vertical suplex the fans gasp;
but their breath is taken away when Slayer performs a
sudden layout and drives FK's head and neck into the mat
with a devastating brainbuster. Bobby Shavonie -
In my notes here, Slayer calls that The Violent End 2013! Nick Burst - How
appropriately titled... since Freedom Kid may have met
his violent end for 2013, and even 2014, with the way he
landed after that move! Bobby Shavonie -
These competitors all know what they signed up for, and
I'm just glad we don't see excessive use of weapons! Instead of
continuing on with Freedom Kid, who he could possibly
eliminate, EJ Slayer walks over towards a now standing
Eclipse and punts her across her chest. She backs up
against the ropes and fires back with a right hand
directed at Slayer's face, but he ducks under it and
manages to hit a second toe kick to her midsection which
backs Eclipse towards the middle of the ring. The first
thing that comes to mind for EJ Slayer is to run straight
towards his opponent who is her heels as is, but as he
gets within striking distance he is met with a thunderous
headbutt right to the face. The crowd doesn't know how to
react as Slayer seems completely unconscious as he leans
up against the chest of Eclipse, which actually backs
them both a few steps out of the center of the ring.
Sensing a huge opportunity Eclipse grabs EJ around the
head with her good right arm, locking him in a front face
lock and painstakingly uses her left hand to guide
Slayer's right arm over her head to complete the suplex
position. Only using her right arm Eclipse shows off her
strength and keeps EJ Slayer up in the air while spinning
him around to the nearest side of the ring. Throwing
Slayer forward she spins his legs down onto her shoulders
and powerbombs him over the ropes, sending him back-first
to the concrete floor. Nick Burst - HOLY
FUCKING SHIT! THE END OF INNOCENCE OUT OF THE RING! Bobby Shavonie -
SLAYER HAD NO TIME TO BRACE HIMSELF FOR THAT. Missy Janson - EJ
SLAYER has been eliminated! Nick Burst - And
now that EJ Slayer is dead, maybe, we have our final two. Bobby Shavonie - I
seriously hope Slayer is okay. Eclipse is just a
monster... Nick Burst -
That's what she is known for, and why she's a threat to
get a shot at the OWF Title she lost two months ago. Both referees are
quick to move in and check on EJ Slayer who is motionless
on the outside. The crowd is going nuts as Eclipse and
Freedom Kid, who have fairly squared off two times before
now, are the last two competitors left. While Eclipse is
still on her feet, her opponent isn't so lucky and is
only now getting up to all fours following being dropped
on his head. In a sign of respect Eclipse hangs back and
allows Freedom Kid the time to return to his feet under
his own power, so that they can do this by the books as
they would say. The seconds that pass as Freedom Kid
struggles up to his feet are tense but the crowd only
gets louder and louder; realizing that their rooting
interests are secondary. Finally back up to a standing
position the OWF Network Champion steps forward and
delivers a moderately strong left forearm shot to
Eclipse's face. She steps back and nods a bit, biting her
bottom lip as she returns fire with a right forearm shiv
to the jawline of her masked opponent. It certainly
phases him but Freedom Kid doesn't show it as he steps
forward and grabs Eclipse in a front face lock before
floating over behind her back, where it becomes clear he
is setting up for the Freedom Rally. As he flips over her
back trying for a three-quarter facebuster Eclipse grabs
FK in a reverse waist lock, and throws him back over her
head the second his feet hit the mat. The suplex attempt,
which is more of a judo throw, sends FK down to his back
but his instincts roll him up to his knees; looking at
Eclipse to keep her in sight at all times. As soon as he
gets up to his feet he sees his opponent charging at him
and dips down to grab Eclipse in a standing firemans
carry; but that doesn't last for long as Eclipse drops
out of the hold, and grabs FK around the head in a front
face lock. Again she tries to use her left hand to assist
her pursuit of a suplex hold by pulling his right arm
over her head; and again she is successful. Hoisting
Freedom Kid into the air for a vertical suplex Eclipse
isn't bothered that this move won't score an elimination
and sets him up for the End of Innocence when her
opponent floats over and lands on his back behind her.
With both hands he spins Eclipse around and once again
goes back to pulling her up into a standing firemans
carry, and lines his body up with the nearest corner. The
crowd hasn't been off their feet since the bell rang and
they jump up and down when they see Freedom Kid climb up
to the second rope and take that final step up to the
top, ready to hit the the death valley driver off the
top; when he is crushed by the point of Eclipse's right
elbow upon the left side of FK's face, crotching him on
the top turnbuckle as a result. Bobby Shavonie -
Oh my... Freedom Kid was going for the USA Drop and now
these two are in a very dangerous position! Sliding herself
off of the shoulders of her opponent Eclipse drops down
so that her feet land on the middle rope, right behind
Freedom Kid as she sits on the top rope; grabbing Freedom
Kid around the waist as the two superstars remain seated
on the top rope facing the crowd. Out of nowhere Eclipse
throws Freedom Kid over her head to hit a release german
suplex; but hooks her legs under the top turnbuckle,
allowing her body to be briefly held upside down in a
tree of woe position. Upside down Eclipse sees that
Freedom Kid's impact has laid him out parallel to the
corner he was thrown from and as she collects herself she
takes a big deep breath and closes her eyes. The sit up
she performs gives Eclipse an easy path to stand back up
to the top rope by first seating her on the top
turnbuckle, then climbing up to the top glancing out the
fans. Backflipping off the top rope Eclipse looks for a
moonsault but Freedom Kid curls his legs up to his chest,
and his opponent crashes down upon his bent knees.
Through the pain Eclipse lands on her feet and uses her
right arm to roll FK over onto his stomach, and as he
gets up to all fours he runs in and punts him upon the
crown of his head. He drops flat to his stomach and
Eclipse drops to her knees, using her right arm with her
left basically there for balance to grab Freedom Kid
around his head. Eclipse leads him upwards when suddenly
FK spins out of the hold, snatches onto his opponent with
a front face lock and floats over Eclipse's back. Front
flipping over he hits the three-quarter facebuster that
he calls the Freedom Rally; but if you had just been
tuning in, you couldn't tell who got the best of the last
move as the last two remaining members in the Brawltopia
Match remain laid out on their backs. The crowd cannot
choose between the two and alternating "Free-dom
Kid!" and "Lets go Eclipse!" chants break
out, splitting them right down the middle. Nick Burst - I'm
all out of scotch so I have to ride this one out, and
it's a great way to do so. Bobby Shavonie -
Seriously. We've seen the heart and the passion from not
only these two, but every single entrant into this match.
All for a shot at the greatest prize the OWF has to
offer. The entire focus
of the sold-out crowd here in North Dakota and the fans
watching at home on pay-per-view is on Eclipse and
Freedom Kid as they start to pull themselves off the mat;
with the fans still chanting their names in alternating
sequences. Rolling up onto his right hip the Network
Champion plants the palm of his left hand into the mat
and uses it to push himself upwards, while Eclipse
chooses to lift her upper body to the sky; resting on her
rear with her back to FK. Just as she had allowed Freedom
Kid time to recover, he affords Eclipse the same
opportunity as he pulls himself up under his legs staring
down at his opponent. It's not long before Eclipse picks
herself up to her feet and throws a right elbow
backwards, which is blocked by her opponent with both
hands. Spinning around Eclipse kicks her right leg up and
delivers a high front kick to her opponent's face, giving
her a chance to step in and set FK up for a t-bone
suplex. He fights back driving the right arm that Eclipse
has ensnared into this hold down into the back of her
head, which causes a change of plans as Eclipse swings
around; preparing Freedom Kid for a back drop driver.
Using his left hand he punches Eclipse upon her stomach
with his right hand, summoning everything left in his
reserves to avoid any more damage. Just when he thinks he
is free Eclipse grabs him by the mask and tugs him
backwards; trying to butterfly his arms behind his back.
Her right arm is easily able to execute the task, tucking
FK's right arm behind his back but her left arm takes a
bit longer to do so. As much as he struggles Freedom Kid
cannot help but have both of his arms locked behind his
back; but in the blink of an eye Eclipse loosens up her
grip on the left arm. The brief hope spot given to FK is
taken into stride as with his right arm he hiptosses
Eclipse over the top rope, trying to send her down to the
concrete floor. He takes a step back assuming he has won
but Eclipse's damaged left arm is all that keeps her
between a chance at an OWF Title Shot and elimination, as
her left hand holds onto the top rope. Bobby Shavonie -
Eclipse is in deep, DEEP, trouble Nick! Hanging on with
just her left hand on the top rope, supporting the full
weight of her body, Eclipse refuses to just let go.
Looking down over the top rope FK punches Eclipse right
across her face, but she doesn't let go. He tries to lay
in a second right hand, but still Eclipse will not fall
down. After glancing around and trying to clear his mind
Freedom Kid reluctantly lays a clubbing forearm to her
steel-plated left forearm and Eclipse topples to the
floor; clutching her left arm to her chest in a bit of
pain. Nick Burst - HOLY
SHIT! Bobby Shavonie - I
can't believe it... Missy Janson -
ECLIPSE has been eliminated! Therefore, the WINNER OF THE
2013 BRAWLTOPIA MATCH EARNING A SHOT AT THE OWF WORLD
HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AT OWF HOLIDAY BASH...
FREEEEEEEEEEDOM KIIIIIIIIIIIID! Bobby Shavonie -
HE DID IT! Nick Burst - What
a huge win for Freedom Kid! Bobby Shavonie -
And even with his favorable entry spot, he still had to
work his tail off to get this achievement. Nick Burst - He
has been working his ass off for seven full months, and
this is the fruit of his labor. He didn't want to go
after Eclipse's injured arm, even though the steel
plating that covered it dealt him severe damge. He had to
do it to win. The crowd is
molten right now, jumping up and down in celebration as
all Freedom Kid can do is falls to his knees at look
outside of the ring to make sure Eclipse isn't too hurt.
She rolls over onto her hands and knees, keeping her left
arm off the floor in a little bit of pain as Dean Stern
and Calvin Mills check on her condition. Bobby Shavonie -
You're right, on all fronts. Freedom Kid hasn't lost a
match since April of this year, he's our current OWF
Network Champion and he has a shot at the OWF World
Heavyweight Championship in just a month. Nick Burst - Yet
he isn't showboating. Look, he wants to make sure Eclipse
isn't too fucked up by him discarding her out of the ring
on her bad arm. Bobby Shavonie -
He's a guy you can get behind, for sure, and the fans
know that. Just listen to them! A close up in the
ring shows Freedom Kid's eyes closed behind his mask, and
he bends forward bowing his head down to the canvas. The
volume of the crowd never waivers. Nick Burst -
They're so fucking loud because they know they're getting
the rematch between Moxie Roxie and Freedom Kid they've
been waiting for since August when FK won the Network
Title from Moxie. Bobby Shavonie - I
didn't even think of that, Nick! And fans, remember that
match is considered possibly the best Network Title Match
in the history of the Championship's existence. Nick Burst - And I
don't know if Moxie Roxie and Freedom Kid even realize it
yet, either. It's going to be insane. Bobby Shavonie -
I'm glad this match is over, even if we were incredibly
entertained by those who put up the best fights. People
like Redemption, Holloway, Jackrabbit, Slayer and
Eclipse; all who could have won if things played out just
a bit differently. Nick Burst - We
didn't see the use of too many weapons, which is a good
thing because the little they were used left our roster
pretty fucked up. We start to zoom
out with Freedom Kid choosing to get up to his feet, and
hold his hands high up into the air. Bobby Shavonie -
And our roster is going to run the gauntlet in the
upcoming weeks, just like they did tonight.. Nick Burst - And
this night, is coming to an end. Bobby Shavonie -
Indeed so this is where we say to all of you fans at
home, thank you for joining us and we will see you next
on December 6th for OWF Addiction! The OWF logo
appears on the screen and the telecast fades to black. |
