I just started listening to the Banshees last year. I should've been listening to them a long time ago, since they're almost like a sister group to the Cure. They just run in the same vein as the new wave/goth thing that I like so much I guess.
Siouxsie Sioux is an amazingly beautiful person with a beautiful voice and an ummatched style and grace. If you want to check out some of The Banshees music, I suggest starting off with Twice Upon A Time. It's their later singles collection with great songs like Peek-A-Bo and Kiss Them For Me. |
