| This is Nathan, the cutest half Puerto Rican I know. He would hate me for saying that. haha. Anyway, I met Nathan a long while back. We went to the same silverchair show back in '99. On that tour Lit was opening for them, and we both happened to go to Lit's webpage and sign their guestbook. When I was looking at what other people had written in their guestbook before me, I came across Nathan. Seeing that he lived in Georgia as well, I decided to email him about the show. And the rest is history. We talked for about a year, then lost touch. Then the next year, we ended up on the same Deftones mailing list, so we started talking again. By this time he was going to school in Nashville. I didn't actually meet him in person until August of 2001, when he graciously let Melina, Akeem, Janelle and I crash at his place after the Chimaira/shun/[minus] show. Anyway, Nathan is really cool. He's the only guy I know that owns up to liking silverchair a lot, and no matter how much he hates their new stuff, I know he'll be excited when they start touring the states again. Nathan is spoiled because he gets to see shun more than us Georgia kids do. But he's moving back to Georgia at the end of this summer, which will be awesome 'cause then we'll get to see him more, and take more pictures of him when he isn't looking. Just kidding Nathan! |
