My name is Lauren Van Meter and I am the resident "Spirit Guide" of the group. I started doing paranormal investigations when I was 15 and have been doing it for 5 years now. I got started doing this because at first I just thought it was something that would be cool to do. Then it qucikly changed into a serious hobby of mine. After a while I decided to make a business and team out of it. My first hunt was when I was fifteen. We went to this house in Camdenton, Mo and it was said to be haunted. When we entered the house it was rundown and nasty. We set up one camera and with no wind or anything in the building the camera literally lifted an inch off of the ground and fell over. We pickup up the camera again, set it up, and again it fell down. So, we decided to use a voice recorder instead. We walked around the house without seeing or hearing anything. It was when we got home that we watched the video. On the video we saw what we thought to be orbs. When the camera was lift we heard what sounded like breathing. Also, in the bottom of the screen you could see what appeared to be a persons face or a vortex. And the rest is history.
Many people are constantly confusing the spirit of a person and the soul.
The spirit realm is not a place like everyone thinks for lost human souls but rather a place of life for souls. Most believe that within the spirit realms souls are trapped because of some wrong deed they committed on earth or some unfinished business. They are not lost sould but merely are there because of choices they had made on there own. Withing the spirit realm there are three are three different types of spirits.
The Human Spirit-this is said to be an inhuman spirit that was born intto a body, lived in that body, and left that body when it had past. Human Spirits are said to be the weakest of the spirits within the spirit realm.
The Spirit Helper-Through studies and theories it is said that all spirits were once spirit helpers, including human spirits. It has been stated that all Spirit Helpers have agreed to live as humans at one point in time so that they may gain some sort of self control. Spirit Helpers are there to guide Humans through there life's but are never to physically force any human to make a certain choice. Because to do so would be a violation of all human's right to free will. It is also said that your spirit helper or "spirit guide" can manifest itself to you in a dream but you may never really be able to realize whom that person is unless you are open to this.
The Malevolent Human Spirit-They are said to be able to manipulate earth based things. Turn water into blood, rain to pebbles, and flesh to gelitin. They are also known as demonic spirits and such. They can be very evil. Once you have an infestation of this kind in a place they are very difficult to get rid of. Do not pervoke this kind of spirt. There are ways to get rid of them through what religious groups call exorcisms and such.
