As far as I know there are only 5 things to unlock in BR4. these five things are secret characters, which are:

Long The Tiger
Shina The Leopard
Kohryu The Iron Mole
Uranus The Chimera
Ryoho The Dragon

There is only one way to unlock all the characters in BR4 and its simple. Go down to Career Mode start a character.
play throught career mode.

Once you in hit 5,000 Max DNA Points you will be rewarded

Long The Tiger

Hit 10,000 Max DNA point and you unlock

Shina The Leopard

once you get up to 30, 000 DNA points, the next character you unlock is

Kohryu The Iron Mole

Next get to 50,000 DNA points and you get my girl

Uranus The Chimera

Now get get all freaked when you finish the whole map and you only get 69,000 Max DNA when you have to get 100,000 DNA points to get

Ryoho The Dragon

because your supose too. you will have to battle for 50, yeah just 50 DNA a battle afterwards from 69,000 to 100,000 DNA points...have fun.

-Cool Hint-

If you want to fight with you career Character, after you just built he/she up get all those characters, go to any mode go to your character and press L1 or R1 and "CAREER" will show up above you characters portrait.
