Chrono Trigger

A game that came out for the ever popular Super NES, it dealt with a young hero, named Chrono, who, through certain events, travels back in time. This event triggers a complete chain of events where Chrono will have to save the world from a creature more horrid then ever imaginable.

Storyline/Plot= 22%
Great storyline throughout the whole game! The time travel theme is very unique, and the way they evolve each problem is great. Most of the scenarios you undertake will have some effect on another time.

Sound= 16%
The soundtrack was pretty good for this game. A couple of slow tracks, but otherwise great.

Graphics= 8%
For when the game came out, these graphics were pretty darn good.

Enjoyment= 25%
All I can say is that if you like RPGs, then you'll love this game. The characters evolve in a way that you'll just want to look into each one more and more.

Slowdown= 5%
None at all.

Other= 15%
No other problems.

Characters:

Chrono- A young boy living in the world 1000 A.D. He seems to be quite adept at using a sword, and most that cross his path don't survive. His adventure will begin when he goes to the Millenial Fair.

Marle- A young girl who acts a bit tomboyish and is deadly with a crossbow. She is often seen around Guardia castle, yet when questioned, she won't tell anyone why. She befriends Chrono at the Millenial Fair.

Lucca- A longtime friend of Chrono and a mechanical genius. She can build almost anything with the proper materials and tools. She meets up with Chrono at the Millenial Fair when she offers to show him her telepod.

Frog- A warrior turned toad due to the evil magics of the leader of the Mystics, Magus. He is extremely talented with a sword and is the best friend of Cyrus, the best warrior that Guardia has ever known. He searches the world over for the legendary sword Masamune.

Robo- A robot from the year 2300 A.D., he was broken down and in desperate need of repair, until Lucca came along. He is extremely loyal to Lucca and is gladly willing to help her and her comrades in battles by beating opponents with his incredouble strength.

Ayla- A cave woman from the distant past, she only will befriend those who are able to prove themselves tough enough in battle. She has incredouble strength and displays it when she uses her fists to knock opponents out.

Magus- The leader of the Mystics, who seemed to disappear after the year 600 A.D. While is motives are unclear, it appears that he has a serious grudge against humans. His extremely powerful magic and ability to use a sickle can really leave his foes realing.
