His Sire is Ben Von Ingga and his Dam is Christylee's Electra. Stryker is a black and tan german shepherd and is not neutered. He is owned and registered to my son, Adam and my husband, Perry. Stryker became a member of our family when he was six weeks old. We got him from Gerald Levesque, owner of Christylee Kennels in Grand Falls N.B.
Stryker is an extremely intelligent dog. During the day he is chained outside and during the night he sleeps with Adam in his room. We tried putting him in the kennel with the sibes but he doesn't seem to like it and started showing signs of aggression so we put him back on the chain and he is much more content. When we are outside he runs loose in our yard. He listens remarkably well and WILL NOT leave our yard when he is unchained.
He loves to play with soccer balls and also has an old plastic bucket that he carries around in his mouth and tosses in the air. He also throws it at you so that you will throw it to him. At night he shares Adam's bed and has a stuffed monkey and also a stuffed dog that he sleeps with. We call them his "sookie toys!" hehe
He was evaluauted for a search and rescue dog by J.P. and was accepted but unfortunately J.P. moved to NewZealand and so Stryker was not trained.
Although Stryker and Thunder did not get along, both being dominant males and unneutered, Stryker loved the sibe babies. He often played with them and looked over them as his own and was very protective of them!
Stryker and Adam participate in our local S.P.C.A. dog jog every year to help raise funds for more unfortunate animals. Stryker is a valuable part of our family and we are fortunate to have him.
