Lashburn, Saskatchewan, Canada
Central Region Hawks
Winkler, Manitoba
The Central Region Hawks have been in existence since 1997, where they were the host team for Western Canadian Championships in Winkler, Manitoba.  The team consists of players from eight different communities in the south west region of Manitoba.  They are a committed group of individuals who show a lot of dedication to the game of softball.  Of the eleven team members, six are in their last year of Midget "A" Softball.

In the past six years they have played in the Winnipeg Women's Super League and attend many tournaments throughout the playing year.  They have been fortunate enough to have participated in the past two Canadian Championships (1999 and 2000) and again 2001.  Some team members have actually got a complete set of gold, silver and bronze medals from the last three provincials.  A lot of travelling is done by the players throughout Manitoba.

Two players picked up to play with the Hawks were Katy Van Deveire and G Sinclair also with another coach added, Jim Esau.
