Early 1997. Marian and I at an Upward Bound meeting. Marian was a bridge student in 1997. Meaning, she graduated and then attended UB's summer program. If you do that, UB pays for 6 hours of your college.
This was during our counselor training week. Billy,  bought a bunch of steaks  and cooked for the counselors. This is not all of the counselors, just the ones that came to our little cookout. L-R Stacy Boy, Dustin, Billy, Stacy Girl, Gretchen, and Me.

My buddy at the Springfield zoo. He kept squirting me with water. I swear the little sucker was laughing! Shortly after we went to the zoo, this elephant almost died. He recovered, however, and is now back at the zoo.
