The first of Rice's works to see comic print was The Vampire Lestat. This tells the story of Lestat de Lioncourt. Lestat is a modern day devil who bucks the standand vampire lore at every turn. He attempts to start a war between mankind and vampirekind by becoming a rock star and revealing to the world his true nature. In the end, he wakes up evil of the oldest kind. This series was published in 12 parts by Innovation Comics. It can also be found in a trade book.
Next up was The Mummy, published in 12 parts by Millenium Comics. Ramses, an
ancient pharoh, consumes a mysterious elixir and becomes immortal. He is awakened at the
turn of the century and must adapt to 2000 years worth of development of the modern world.
The Master of Rampling Gate is a one-shot book published by Innovation and is
adapted from a short story appearing in Redbook. A mysterious estate is slated for
destruction due to an ancient curse, but Julie and Richard Rampling cannot just sit back
and let it be destroyed. They visit the old castle and discover its horrible secret.

Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned are both 12 issues and
published by Innovation. Interview tells the story of Louis, a vampire borne into darkness
by Lestat. This has been made into a feature film starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Queen
involves a cast of dozens and picks up where Vampire Lestat left off. Only 11 of the 12
issues of Queen have ever seen the light (snicker!) due to the untimely bankrupcy of
Innovation.

Queen of the DamnedISSUE #12 -NEVER RELEASED |
Next we come to The Witching Hour by Millenium. First it's 13 issues, then 12,
then 10. How can you adapt over 1000 pages of print in 10 issues? Up to now, the first 5
issues have been released. Millenium has been less than satisfactory with this series.
Issue #5 was released over 2.5 years ago and since then issues 6-7 have been solicited,
resolicited, and never shown up. It remains to be seen if this series will be completed by
Millenium.
