Products
Overdrive Electronics is a store where you can find
everything that
your looking for to outfit your R&D lab, Ham Shack, or any
other
facility that requires a selection of low-cost and high quality
products.
Some of the products we carry are Oscilloscopes, Function Generators,
Frequency Counters, etc. In addition we also have a wide selection of
both Active and Passive components. Although we try to keep an
inventory of the most common component parts available, we aren't
always aware of the most current and advanced components or devices. In
cases such as this, please just use the request form at the bottom of
this page. We will contact local manufacturers to find the components
or devices that you have requested. Usually it will take about 3 days
to get a quote back to you along with a competitive price. We encourage
you to also shop around. Though we generally have a set price from our
suppliers, from time to time the prices fluxuate, in which case we will
pass the savings on to you. Finally, to make your next purchase more
convenient, we will add the products, devices and components into our
main inventory. Who knows, perhaps another customer will be looking for
that same product.

History
In 2005 i decided to make a drastic career change. After
about 10 years in the IT market i was ready for something else. What
else could be
more drastic but dropping everything i had, and leaving to a foreign
country and teaching those people English , a country in which i
couldn't speak the language none the less. So, that's exactly what i
did. I moved from my comfortable home in Arizona to Shenzhen, China.
I had always been building electronic circuits as a hobby (usually
dealing with high voltage devices), and i had continued to do them when
i arrived to my own place in china. I didn't know what would be allowed
or not allowed through customs in when i crossed the border, so i
decided to leave everything in America, and start over in shenzhen.
From the first time that i walked through the technical market, i
quickly learned that any piece of equipment that i need can be
purchased here rather cheaply. There are many products that are low
quality and not acceptable to buy, but at the same time, there were
also some very affordable products with equal quality standards as what
i could find in the u.s. From that point on, i decided that one of my
main goals while in china would be to start my own exporting company.
That is what I'm offering everyone today - Quality Products at very
affordable prices.
