this is a page of photos of yao dong

i hate being hungry, why do i still run out of money like i did when i first started share housing in West End? when i lived on rice and oatmeal? and then magically, the 3rd years arrived back from a camp and they had left over raison toast!! yay! which i ate and i was very happy,

the weather is cold again, and today i went on my first bike ride to tafe, and i started a new painting today, my 1st study for my 1st canvas, which has to be of one of my collages,

i am painting on gesso, called a ground, and i have put the gesso on sort of papier mache stuff filters that come out of wine vats, the gesso is really smooth, and like plaster, and very absorbant, the paint dries really quickly, i am painting my 2nd layer already this afternoon because of the gesso,

hmm, i have noticed this about Marie Claire, they talk about anything that is really news, there are a few websites about yao dong

it is always hot and stuffy in this room so i am going to go back to painting, and see if i can scab some more raison toast
