• Don’t beg. This means don’t ask for free items, gold, swimsuit votes, or anything else. If you want or are trying to get something and don’t want to pay, you’re begging. People give away free stuff all the time, just be patient.

• Use the appropriate chat channel.
     - If you are buying, selling, trading, asking for a price check, looking for a service, etc it belongs in auction.
     - Emotes are for role playing.

• Don't ask for votes. Votes are when you say something like: Everyone who likes pizza type 911! This is inciting spam and is grounds for being muted.

• Don't start lottos. Lottos are things like: Whoever gives me 50k will get 2Mil back! These are considered to be SCAMS. So don't do it.

• Don't badmouth RWK. If you don't like the game, then don't play it.

• Don't advertise other games. Talking about other games is okay, but not going “Hey everyone should go play runescape it’s awesome!”

• Do not thank people who give you trivial amounts of gold. This includes people who give you "yellow spam". Thank them in private messages all you want, but do not pollute chat with it. To define trivial: anything under 100 million gold.

• If you purposefully or accidentally break any of these rules or if you are muted/banned and you get on another character before the mute/ban wears off and speak in chat you will be 2 day or permanently banned without question.

• Mute evasion or false claims to unfair muting will result in banning.

• Complaining about being muted or banned in chat is a great way to get banned.

• It is NOT legal to lie in order to scam other players out of their belongings.

• It is NOT legal to mislead other players about aspects of the game in an effort to discourage them or for any other reason. The one thing you may do safely is lie about the identity of your character(s). This allows you to have multiple characters with different allegiances. Keep in mind that if you break any game rules with any of your characters then they could all be banned or we may reveal your identity as a punishment.

• Don't spam. Don't fill up the chat screen with useless, repeated messages, phrases, letters or numbers.

• Don't beg. Don't ask people for gold, items, donations, etc. If you want gold, play the game. If you need items, fight to get gold so you can buy them yourself.

• Don't Auction in Shout. There are certain trigger words (sale, buying, wtt, wts, wtt, trading) that automatically make a message go to auction, but you should NOT rely only on these because you will make a typo eventually. The best way to go is to change from ‘Shout’ to ‘Auction’ so that even if you make a typo it will still go to auction.

• If you wish to buy/sell/trade items from another game you MUST have the templar upgrade. Other players and mods can tell whether you have this upgrade because your location will show as asterisks. The vast majority of low level players offering trades from other games are scammers looking to make a quick buck. This will help prevent scamming when doing deals between other games because each attempt will effectively cost the scammer 50 dollars.

• Macroing or automated playing of any kind is strictly against the rules and will get you banned with no exceptions.

• You can give items to new players if you wish but you CANNOT advertise in chat or auction or any other way that you are trading items or gold in return for receiving /mentor, nor can new players ask for them

• Anyone attempting to buy mentors off new players (or sell or buy swimsuit votes) will be banned.

• You are NOT allowed to post your swimsuit link in RWK chat.

• Purchasing PayPal items for someone else's character in trade for game assets is strictly forbidden.

• Character sharing and trading is no longer allowed. Glitchless claims that they will not be actively seeking out and punishing those who break this rule, but if you auction that you are selling a character, or e-mail them complaining that your clicker stole your character or that you were scammed in a character transaction you will be banned for failing to follow the rules.

• Even though it's not listed as an official rule, you must keep talk about auctions inside of auction. An example would be if someone asks for a price check; answer them in auction, not shout.

• A limit of 1 purchase per week has been placed on the "50k No Trade Ash Essence Element" item. This restriction applies to any PayPal account, person, or character. Failure to follow this rule will be assumed to be fraud.

• Threatening other players with nuking may be part of RWK, however, attempting to extort them for real-life money is strictly prohibited. Anyone found to be doing this will be banned.
