Program Evaluation
The first few minutes that you are exposed to this program is a rare opportunity,
for it is the only time that you will have a 'blank slate' perspective.
Everyone has their own set of assumptions, biases and notions about what this program is,
usually formed in the first few seconds, based on the name of the program.
It is important to capture these perspectives to understand how to communicate
the intent and role of this program. This is especially important with this program,
for it promotes a slightly different perspective of developing from that in common use.
In an effort to capture your first impressions, I've assembled a set of questions that
I'd appreciate your feedback on. This is not an exhaustive list, so any other comments or
suggestions will be warmly welcomed.
If you can suggest additional questions, even better. I'll update this page for everyone's use as a generic template.
In an ideal world, these questions would be answered by a 'fly on the wall' observer, who recorded the actions
of a person actually performing the actions. That would remove the influence of the questions from the natural
actions of the user. This is a bit much to ask for this type of program, but would be an interesting test
if you have the opportunity to observe someone using this for the first time.
I've placed the questions on a separate page, in the event that you wish to 'go for it',
uninfluenced by them. If you choose that route, please look at them after about a half hour of first use,
that way, most of the initial impression will still be fresh in your mind.
