| Red-billed Wood-Hoopoe After nearly 5 years in Africa, we were surprised the other day to discover this beatuiful bird cackleing away in our tree. Basically black with a colorful sheen like a you might see in a starling, this bird, which is about 16 inches long or so makes a loud sound that reminded Larry of the "kukoburro" that he heard in Austrailia. |
