| The "Guli Wam Kulu" is a secret men's society in the Chewa tribe. Young boys are inducted around puberty. It is believed that a man will become posesed by ancestral or animal spirits during the time he is in costume and dancing. If a man commits a crime while in costume, he can not be convicted of it because it was not he, but the "spirit" that did it! |

| Each year we have over 500 applicants for the freshman class of around 40. Many of our students have sacrificed greatly for the opportunity to come and study at African Bible College. We count it a great privilege to be able to take part in this work that God is doing in Malawi. |
