The Doomsday Engine is an enhanced and extended version of Doom, Heretic, and Hexen. It was originally based on the Hexen source code but parts of it have later been completely rewritten.

The jDoom Resource Pack (jDRP) is a set of Doom addon resources for use with the Doomsday Engine. The goal of this project is create quality resources to help bring the graphics in Doom up to modern standards whilest keeping true to Doom's classic style. In it's current state the pack is a mixed bag of the good, bad and the ugly. The pack is still very young and over the coming months will go through many changes.
