From left to right: 

1. Antique or Classic lock.  Body made from maple, shackle made from black walnut.  Key is black walnut and white oak. 

2. Three number Combination lock.  Body made from black walnut, dial from white oak & walnut button. Shackle is from maple. 

3. "Yale" type lock.  Body is 5 glued up layers.  Top layer is black walnut, next layer is maple, third is white oak, next is cypress, fourth is red cedar, and bottom layer is cherry.  Key is made from maple. 

All locks are 100% wood including internal parts.  As such they will eventually wear out and internal parts and keys will break if forced.  However with care and gentle use, these locks will give many years of pleasure and generate lots of conversation.
