(259) Evil DM: GAME ON -=No OOC In MAIN WINDOW PLEASE=-
The group has been in the old lion tier city for about a week now with no sign of a portal and no real leads to go on. A massive creature prowls the streets day and night and the group has been very careful to avoid the beast.
Sahato on 8th day in the massive city has a vision of a great library filled with mystic tomes and ancient knowledge. Merclynn and Oro have gone to explore the southern reaches of the city and leave Sahato and Chi-Te to find the Library.
(259) Evil DM: "Are you ready Lady Sahato?" he asks peeking out onto the roadway.
(259) Chi-Te: "Are you ready Lady Sahato?" he asks peeking out onto the roadway.
(261) Sahato: "I suppose. I wish I had a better idea where to go."
(259) Chi-Te: "Well you visions have yet to lead us into anything we cannot get out of." he says "Let us hope this library exists it would be dishonorable o return with nothing for our efforts."
(261) Sahato: "Very well."
(261) Sahato has a look outside.
(259) Chi-Te peeks around the corner then dashes into the next building.
(261) Sahato follows him?
(261) Sahato: "Tamat, come."
(259) Evil DM: Tamat follows close by your heels
(261) Sahato tries to remember any clues to aid their search

(259) Evil DM: You have a feeling that this street holds a secret but you are unable to delve deep enough into your memories to find the answer right away.
(261) Sahato: "Oh well let's keep going."
(259) Chi-Te takes a quick look around the building you’re in.
(259) Evil DM: You hear a loud snap followed by a scream and a loud thud behind you Sahato where Chi-Te was.
(261) Sahato turns to see what happened
(259) Evil DM: There is a human sized hole in the floor and Chi-Te is gone small splatters of blood line the broken wooden floor.(261) Sahato: "Oh no ...... just great."(259) Evil DM: You hear the sounds of battle from below and the twang of Chi'Te's blade again stone and metal.
(261) Sahato tries to figure out how to get there to help him
(259) Evil DM: Your vision allows you to see him in combat against multiple smaller foes. He reaches down and grabs a glowing scroll with a seal you cannot quite make out on it.(261) Sahato looks for a way to go down to help
(259) Chi-Te: "Take this to the phoenix clan Sahato.. they should be able to decipher it meaning." he yells as he toss the scroll up to Sahato then charges into the fray of creatures his life forfeit in the act.(261) Sahato: "What! I can't just let you .... How can I help you?"
(259) Chi-Te bleeding from tainted wounds and kneeling slightly on one leg he looks up one last time.. "Go.." he says in a calm voice his concentration locked in the battle. "My honor is upheld so long as the scroll makes it there safely."
(261) Sahato looks upon him sadly and heads back as he desires.
As Sahato exits the building a small cloud of smoke can be seen in the distance the noise has attracted other attention, deadly attention the massive beast swats buildings down as if they were flies as it begins to head in Sahato direction.
(261) Sahato keeps moving now trying to keep out of site and escape to deliver the scroll.
This colossal beast has the body of a dog covered in long massive spikes the still screaming bodies of long since dead humans and spirit folk are impaled on the spikes the souls forever trapped on the beast. An earth shaking roar informed Sahato the creature has her scent and is moving to add another soul to its collection.
(261) Sahato keeps going trying to get to a place that will suit her

(261) Sahato is then trying to find a way to exit the city quickly.
(259) Evil DM: You recall a quick path out of the city, but this would leave Merclynn and Oro to their own destinies.
(261) Sahato feels the need for safety and keeps going
Sahato and Tamat set of towards the Phoenix tier city high in the northern mountians it will take weeks of travel but the poison marshes hold no surprises for Sahato.
Life in the Dragon Tier City is in a bit of an uproar the finding that the Lion Clan has sent an expedition to an ancient city and offered no member of the Dragon clan a spot has left a sour taste flowing through the clan. Yoshiaki of the Miyazaki clan stands at his post near the great library until he is summoned by the high council.

The walk to the chamber is a long one with the city designed as a maze on purpose. Many dead-end and endless loops are common a hidden defense one outside the clan would not be aware of unless they were to venture alone in the city.
The Council chamber is a massive building second only to the great sealed library. Honor guard stand outside and question you carefully before they allow you entrance.

(259) Honor guard: "Name and clan please." he demands as he looks at a list.
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: “Yoshiaki of the Miyazaki clan”
(261) Sahato looks upon the walls of the great city of the Phoenix with some relief. She knows she is almost free of her duty now. She approaches a large gate and enters. (259) Honor guard ponders over the list a bit of a sneer on his face... "I guess they will allow anyone within these sacred walls.. Do not stain the floor with your families scent."
(259) Honor guard: "You may enter."(285) Mitsuki has sent you a tree node...
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki bows and enters the building
The walk to the chamber just like the rest of they city is a bit of a maze with signs and symbols that only a Dragon clan would be able to decipher.
As Yoshiaki enters the chamber he is once again greeted by more guards.
(259) Honor guard: "Good you’re on time I cannot say the same for the others."
(259) Honor guard: "The Council will see you now."
(259) Honor guard he motions to a door.

Three elderly men sitting on large elevated pillows in the plane rather dark room greet Yoshiaki with the slightest of nods.
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: "great council you have summoned your humble servant. I am head to hear your will”
(259) Council member: "It has come to the councils attention that you have been a loyal soldier within the city’s guard ranks for many years yet never have you sought a promotion."
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: " I have not Looked for a promotion because there is still much for me to learn were I am before I am ready for greater things "
(259) Council member: "Indeed you have started down a long path to and end you cannot foresee."
(259) Council member: "There is a stranger to this city that carries and item of importance they do not yet comprehend."
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki raise and eye brow
(259) Council member: "They will become lost in the maze and will need a beacon to find their way out. You will assist them as a guide and a protector."
(259) Evil DM: Sahato after traveling for well over 30 minutes you are fairly sure your walking in circles.
(261) Sahato is looking for a place to purchase some food after her long journey.
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki bows “as you wish honored elders. How will I know this lost one among the other lost ones in the city?”
(259) Evil DM: Sahato >> You see a road side stand that warm cooked food and a bath house nearby as your travel through the wilderness has been less than cake walk.(259) Council member: "She does not belong, yet she does." One smiles as the three enter a deep state of connected meditation.
(261) Sahato: "Ah at last a place to find some comfort."
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki bow and leave the chamber out in to the city
(261) Sahato heads to the food stand and then eases her hunger. She decides a good bath would be nice too.

The door seems to shut on its own as you exit the chamber. The guards stand vigil as you never leave their sight till you reach the entrance.
(259) Evil DM: Sahato >> The stand merchant seems to offer you slightly higher prices than the rest of his customers.
(261) Sahato smiles and thanks him for the food anyway.
(259) merchant: "You seem a bit lost... strangers not welcome in these parts ma'am. Maybe you should go back where you came from."
(261) Sahato: "Yet this is where I must go to complete my journey."
(259) merchant: "Journey only a fool would journey in this lifeless world. What is so important you cross the poison lands to come to our city?
(261) Sahato: "A dying man's honorable request."
(259) Merchant eyes Sahato "Honor seems to be missing from a lot of people now days. Humph... Consider this meal free...” he then turns back to his other customers.
(261) Sahato: "My thanks honorable merchant."
(259) merchant: "Yeah yeah...” he says in a disguised gruff voice.

(261) Sahato has satisfied her hunger and now wishes to wash the road away from her so she will feel better all over.
Fate tosses the die as Yoshiaki and Sahato are about to cross paths will Yoshiaki notice Sahato before she enters the bath house though...

(261) Sahato: "Hmmm, Ah yes it is most pleasant indeed."
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki looks the lady over carefully
(261) Sahato is trying to keep her face hidden under such an examination. "Is it wrong to wish a bath?"
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki : " no but it seems that you are the lost one among the many lost ones i was sent to find.."
(261) Sahato: "A what? Speak plainly. I have just arrived and wish to get clean."
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: “if I am right you carry something you do not understand”
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: “and you are lost in the great maze that is our fair city”
(261) Sahato: "Getting lost is not hard. Trying to figure you out is worse."
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki smirks “you should enjoy your bath i will wait for you”
(261) Sahato looks at him suspiciously. "Why?"
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki : " the elders have ordered me to find you and guide you ."
(261) Sahato nods her head and heads into the baths
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki takes a seat and waits
(285) Mitsuki: A rather exotic looking woman walks down the street towards the baths. She is dressed in a simple black dress, but it appears that her back is completely bare to the afternoon sun. She finally gets the bathhouse and looks around. She nods politely at the curious man seated outside of the house, "Are you a new guard here sir?"
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: " no i have been here a great many years"
(285) Mitsuki: she cocks her head to the side and gives a sideways grin, "well you seem to at ease guarding this marvelous bathhouse. I suppose that skill would take years to develop."
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki looks the girl over careful from head to toe
(285) Mitsuki raises an eye at the inspection, "find anything interesting enough to detain me or should I go in and take my bath now?"
(273) Yoshiaki Miyazaki smirks and nods
(285) Mitsuki: the woman nods her head gracefully, and slips past the man, heading into the bathhouse. Reaching the water, she quickly disrobes and enters the water, relaxing into the warm water by what seems another afternoon patron, "good afternoon miss. A fine time for a warm bath is it not?"
A small group of rather well dressed men enter the bathhouse about 5 minutes after Mitsuki.

(285) Mitsuki: the young woman smiles a friendly smile to the other woman, but looks at the men that enter the bathhouse. she doesn't bother to conceal herself, only turning slightly in the water, "what do you gentlemen want in here? I seem to recall this was not normally a coed bath."

(259) Evil DM: Go ahead and place your selves in one of the Four pools I've drawn.

(261) Sahato is just trying to get a good soaking
(259) Thug: "We got no business with you now stay quiet and you won't get hurt... We want the scroll.. Now!" he says.
(300) Mitsuki raises her eyebrow, taken back by the thugs directness. she looks around to see if they are talking to anyone else((did it look like they were asking her or Sahato?))

(301) Sahato glances at the men and slowly reaches up until her hand is on her blade hilt.
(300) Mitsuki: the young woman grins, gesturing at the water, "where do you think i might be hiding any scroll?" she shakes her head, almost laughing, "besides I don't know what you are talking about. I have no scroll, and i have no interest in dealing with rude, honor less thugs that would threaten an unknown woman in a private place"(301) Sahato: "Yes please leave. I wish to bathe in peace."
(259) Thou: "I won't tell you to be quiet again." he snarls at Mitsuki. "We know you have it our agents have been following you for a week.. lady Borogai."
(301) Sahato: "Who?"
(300) Mitsuki snickers, "well it's been a long time since I've been called lady, but I'm afraid you poor, misinformed gentlemen have been given the wrong information. Borogai is not my name."
(259) A thug points at Sahato "I'm talking to her not you. But you were warned knock them out and get the scroll we don't want to get the guards in on this one boys."(301) Sahato: "Defend Tamat."
(301) Sahato climbs out of the pool with blade in hand and ready for action.
(259) Tamat: "Ruff!!"
(300) Mitsuki hops out of the pool, towards her clothing and the twin fans tucked in the beltline

I'm sure you're so honest." she moves a little closer, waving her fans as if to cool herself, flicking little flecks of blood, "since you're being so honest, what is so important about that scroll you want?"
(301) Sahato: "You interrupted our bath and to some that is a capital offense."
(259) Thug: "Umm well it was an accident ya… Was an honest mistake.."
(304) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: " let me see we have armed assault, attempted mugging, willful entering the ladies bath, and of course verbal assault. You ladies think he may have been trying to rape you both as well?”

(259) Thug: "If she had been quiet we'd have seen you were not the right person." He says sweating profusely.
(259) Thug: "What! We just wanted the darn scroll... I mean we were just looking for that bogorio person...”
(301) Sahato: "I think he was going to try kidnapping too."
(300) Mitsuki: "so who told you who to question then?" she creeps a little closer, "what is so special about the scroll?"
(304) Yoshiaki Miyazaki: " i am fairly sure the sure the punishment around here for rape is much worse than for kidnapping”
The man begins to foam at the mouth then falls over a not even 5 seconds later his lifeless body hitting the floor with a thud.
(301) Sahato: "Oh? Well then rape it is."
(301) Sahato: "Now that's odd."
