The Ninja Shinobi

The ninja Shinobi have embraced the art of deception.  They are the eyes and ears of their respective Sects.  It is normally a lonely life and a ninja who undertakes this path gives up much of her personal freedom.  She undergoes advanced mental training so that she can perfectly infiltrate and acquire information as required by her Sect.  The Shinobi is a place of high honor among those chosen for the training.

Total Perception, Altered Identity 3/Cover

 

 

Altered Identity

A Shinobi learns how to immerse herself in the guise of a cover identity.  In early stages of training she can only assume 1, but may add a new on at 15th and 20th level for a max of 3.  A Shinobi may take 15 on disguise checks when using a cover identity.  She also gains a +1 for every 5 levels on gather information and bluff checks (a max of +4 at 20th level) while using altered identity.  She can freely change one of her current identities with 1 week of training and practice.

 

Clean Slate

A Shinobi through intense training can remember perfectly a particular image, text, or speech.  She can remember 1 item per Shinobi level this takes 1d10 minutes of concentration.

 

Evasive Mind

A Shinobi learns advanced arts to deceive detection; She adds ½ her class level to spot check to locate sensors and against ‘divination’ spells that target her or her possessions.

 

Iron Mind

A Shinobi can shield her mind from spells and effects that detect the alignment the Shinobi.  If a Shinobi wishes she can return false information.

 

Shin in a Uso

A ninja under the successful guise of an altered identity may use bluff in place of a diplomacy check to influence reactions.  The effect lasts as long as the ninja remains in the altered identity (negative and positive effect only apply to the altered identity).

 

Worked Slate

A ninja has improved her ability to remember information and can now do so as a full round action.

 

Slippery Mind

A ninja’s training allows her a second save against any enchantment or compulsion spells or effects.

 

One of Many

A Shinobi has learned to avoid notice.  When in a group of people a Shinobi can chose to blend in with the crowd with a successful distraction and hide check.  She is considered invisible against anyone who tries to detect her.  This effect lasts as long as the ninja remains inside the crowd.

 

Improvised Talent

A Shinobi under the guise of an altered identity gains access though training to any job related skills for the identity.  She is considered to have ranks equal to ½ her current level (An 18th level Shinobi posing as a blacksmith would have Craft(Blacksmithing) at 9 ranks.  The training for the skill ranks is included in the 1 week required to learn a new cover identity.

 

Total Perception

A Shinobi who allows divination to be used against her may return information relevant to her current altered perception instead of her real identity.
