Few of the men in his family have survived the training that all crab warriors go through. He comes from a long line of warriors who have fought in some of the most ferocious and well known battles in the history of the world. His great-grandfather fought in the Dragon / Crab wars and was one of warriors at the battle of Dragon Mau Ki. From that day on his family has held deep and unbridled honor and respect for the Dragon Clan. Though most of his family has died, Nogushi has thrived in the warlike and harsh environs of the training caverns of the Crab.
