Lion Clan Warrior
Nagamaki
& Combat Expertise as a bonus feat
Much like the animal of old the
Lion clan is proud and at times arrogant. This is not without just cause. Few
would anger the fury of the Lion Clan man or beast for the Army of the Lion also
known as ‘The Pride’ has never lost a battle. The generals of the Lion Clan are
legendary warriors and war makers. The Lion Clan is a military machine. The
children of noble birth are said to wield a weapon instead of a rattle. War is
in the blood and a strict training regiment enforces this. The Lion Clan
Warriors are chosen at birth to be the perfect Leader. The Lion clan are said
to have bloodlines that date back to ‘The Foundation’ and truth may hide in this
fact. The noble blood of the Lion Clan are long lived some have been around for
over 500 years and the current lord is over 800 years old by some accounts.
This is one reason Lion Clan Warriors must be of noble birth a typical human
would not live long enough to learn the way of the Lion Clan Warrior. Training
takes around 200 years and only a rare few are chosen for this honor. The
training is geared around the use of the Nagamaki as only long lived Lion Clan
noble are capable of learning the intricate art of Yu-Chugo to wield this
weapon. Most other clans respect this and none would wish to anger ‘The Pride’
over so trivial a thing. They are also taught advanced tactics and military
techniques that have come to shape the lands greatest generals. The Lion
Clan trains its army high atop the great peaks of Zoul'Kar a once sacred place
to the Lion Clan. Many ages of ancestry are buried within the core of the
massive mountain. The Lion Clan defend Zoul'Kar with zeal and honor.
