Pride of the Lion

The Lion Clan was the right hand of the Emperor. Their founder pledged his life and the life of his people to the defense of the Emperor and his sacred bloodline. They were the Emperor’s army, his fist, and his law.

The Lion truly became one with their duty. Each Lion lives for war. They studied it daily, from the basic techniques of weaponry to the tactics of large scale war.  A Lion tactician is truly to be feared by an enemy general, for whatever tactic you may have planned, the Lion has already developed a dozen ways to defeat it. The Lion live Bushido. Many would say the Lion define Bushido. For the Lion there was no greater honor than to serve the divine Emperor, and no greater glory than to die in his name.

With the end of the last great dynasty so far in the past many of the short lived people claim little knowledge of the last true Emperor.  Those of the Lion Clan however with long life and dutiful minds may have even walked in his grace.  The fall of Talinar was harsh on those of the Lion Clan.  The honor and dignity they fought so hard to protect is now fading from the face of the nearly dead landscape.  The warrior spirit and sense of purpose they once had slowly begins to erode with the death of the planet.

What is left of the old tradition is carried on by the Lion Clan warriors noble members who long lives and noble blood lead the current futures of the once mighty clan.

-Extended Life Span

Lion Clan have an expanded life far greater than normal humans.  It is believe that through the corruption of Talinar some of the life energy flowed from the planet and into member of the Lion Clan.  This effect is strongest on those of noble blood.  The life expectance is based on purity of blood loss of family status will not alter the life span of a Lion Clan member.
