HONOR POINTS
Honor points will be used in this campaign. At each character level, you gain 1 honor point. These points are also gained at the rate of 1 per adventure if your characters honor or family honor increased in that adventure for a max of 2 per adventure if you increase both honor ratings.
Spending Honor Points:
Add To A Roll: Anytime your character rolls a d20 (eg attacks, saves, skill checks, etc.), you may spend an honor point to add the result of a d6 to that roll to help you make the target number. You may declare this expenditure of an honor point before you make the roll, or after, providing the DM has not given you the result of the roll (example: if the DM has already said "You failed", it's too late to declare an honor point). Higher level characters use multiple d6s.
A character of levels 1st - 7th rolls 1d6,-
characters of levels 8th - 14th roll 2d6 -
characters of 15th level or higher roll 3d6
when using honor points to modify their rolls.
-Activate Class Ability: You may spend an
honor point to activate a class ability without expending one of your daily uses
of that ability.
-Boost Defense: A character may spend 1 honor point when fighting defensively,
which gives the character double the normal amount of AC for the entire round
(+4 dodge bonus instead of +2, etc.)
-Emulate Feat: At the beginning of a chaaracter's turn, he or she may spend 1
point to gain the benefit of a feat the character doesn't possess. The character
must meet all prerequisites for the emulated feat and the ability lasts for 1
turn.
-Extra Attack: A character may spend 1 ppoint to make an additional attack at the
character's highest attack bonus, during any round in which the character takes
a full-attack honor.
-Spell Boost: A character may spend 1 pooint to increase the effective caster
level of a spell by 2.
-Spell Recall: Spell casters who preparee their spells in advance may spend 1
point to recall any spell just cast. This can only be done in the same round
that the spell was cast. Spontaneous casters may spend 1 point to cast a spell
without expending a daily use of that spell slot. This can only be done as the
spell is being cast.
