Member of the crab clan are trough and brutish to the outward eye.  To any crab however the meaning of most simple events differs so that it is easy to see why.  The motto of the crab clan “By my strength WE live” held deep even in the eldest of its citizens.  The Crab clan has lost much since the Fall and during the Fall.  When the Fall came they were not prepared for an enemy that could attack from within such as the infection of the blood rage.  Some joined the blood rage willing seeing a new light and insight in their philosophy.  Some were tainted and joined the ranks though no choice of their own.  In any case the ranks of the once mighty crab army were split asunder.  And no amount of war would be able to mend this wound.  The crab clan proud as there were did not admit defeat and to this day consider the struggle unfinished.  “The weak will perish..”  Famous words from a mighty clan warrior of the crabs who stood at the front for the battle of ‘Dusted Sand’.  Which was at the time a battle none thought the crab could lose?  An arrogance that cost them dearly when they learned their hero had turned to the blood raged.  Thousands died and the remaining fled to what is now their Tier City in shame.   Brash and to the point subtle is a sign of weakness to one of the crab clan.

Now they wait and defend their strong hold has held against countless attacks.  The blood raged have all but ceased attacking the crab clan for the moment and seems to have their attention otherwise occupied.  The clan sages sense a deep yearning from the earth and the crabs have begun a great exploit into the very earth what they hope to find is a mystery still.

Crabs are warriors to the core and no matter what Class a member of the crab clan chooses they are always allowed to pick 4 martial or up to 2 exotic weapons to start the game proficient with.

-Toy or the Sword

Crabs take to combat as a crane to dance.  Some are taught to fight before they can walk it is said.  All member of the crab clan may choose to specialize in a weapon they are proficient  They also do not require weapon focus to specialize.

-Death before Dishonor

A Crab clan remains conscious and can continue fighting even if its hit point total is below 0. It is still staggered and loses 1 hit point each round. A creature with ferocity still dies when its hit point total reaches a negative amount equal to its Constitution score.
