Chi-Te is the first born of 8 children. Chi-Te was raised in the tradition of the Lion Clan Warrior and loves to show her skill with both in hand to hand combat and with weapons at an early age. She fell in love and married a fellow.  While upsetting to her father due to his lower rank and status he eventually accepted the marriage.  Chi-Te currently lives in Lion city with her family and helps with some of the family business.

Chi-Te is very loyal to the family and clan and willing to defend both to the death.  The Kobota family can trace the family line back 1500 years and some family scholars are looking for more.   350 years ago the family was dishonored by great uncle Lu-Cee when he murdered a neighbor over a land dispute, but the family was honored by great great uncle Lee-Fu when he stopped a raiding party with his mighty sword at his side outnumbered Four-to-One.  He then sacrificed his life saving children from the burning quarter of the castle after a house fire over 200 years ago.  The family suffered no losses thanks to his heroic bravery.
