Character Honor

70 HONOR

When a character earns 75 points of personal honor.  She gains notice of a powerful figure within her clan.  They in turn reward the character with a gift in acknowledgement of her deeds.

The character is expected to return the compliment somehow.

80 HONOR

At this point the character name begins to appear in popular songs and stories as a minor or local hero of mention. 

In addition, there is a 10% chance per week that a notorious for (human or otherwise) stats boasting of his ability to vanquish the character.  The character is honor bound to defend his name against these insults. 

If nothing is done to squelch the offender then the character suffers a loss of 10 honor.

90 HONOR

A character whose honor has reached this point is a glorified hero in his nation. 

He is invited into the service of a powerful figure within his clan.  Who respects the character and hopes that having her in service will look well upon his name as well.

The character can refuse this offer but this is taken as insult and the figure will have a negative stance towards the character unless suitable reason or action is taken to relieve the insult.

100 HONOR

A character of this status is rare.  She is a considered a great hero, suitable material for epic songs, lengthy folktales, and the like.  The character automaticly gains a +2 bonus on all charisma related check with those who share his beliefs and ideals.  She also gain a -2 penalty from those whose beliefs and ideals are opposite of his.

Every 25 points of honor increases a character leadership score by 1.
