The biggest change in my life occurred when I started attending services at
KING OF PEACE MCC
...
I am a reformed Roman Catholic. When the church shunned me because of my lifestyle, a search began... I found that acceptance at
KOP in 2001. In that time, many people, friends and clergy has come and gone, but one thing remains...wonderful memories.
In that time two woman have stood out as Spiritual mentors on my journey In addition I was thrilled to become baptised with my partner in the warm waters off of Fort DeSoto.
Being baptised by
Rev. Dr. Candace Shultis
Rev. Lorraine...
There are not enough superlatives to describe this remarkable woman.  Rev. Lorraine is, without a doubt, the person most responsible for my spiritual being. Her loving compassion in my life has brought the Spirit of Jesus Christ to my heart. Her friendship and presence in my life means more to me than anything in the world.
Rev. Lorraine Brock
My friend Jaye...
Celebration Choir Director

Music has always played a very big part in my life. Not realizing that I could use that gift, Jaye has helped nuture me to where I could celebrate my love for my Savior in song. Her presence in my life (along with her partner Rachel) and her extraordinary musical talent has vaulted her to be one of the most cherished friends I have ever known. Our Church is a warm, musical place of worship because of Jaye's love and dedication for her craft.

My partner Forrest...
To make one's life complete you need the love and support of a partner. In the absence of parents and siblings nearby, one has to provide a comfort level to make a feeling of family come alive. Forrest has given me more love and support than any man I have ever known. The love that we share for one another will definately last the test of time. He is a my friend, my partner and my soul mate.
