This pictures Largo Lions President Lion Jeff presenting $1,000.00 check to Southeastern Guide Dogs trainers Kimberly Marlow and Helen Arnold. This money paid expenses for the month of training for Jamie Dolan, the young man who lost his eye sight in the shooting at Radio Shack.

Lions Bill Summers, President Jeff Evans, Richard Knutson, John Day and Dr. Ronald Tucker Library Director Casey McPhee with a brand new eye glass collection box. The Lions collect hundreds of eye glasses and hearing aides each year from Largo Library and other locations, and distribute them to those who cannot afford them.


Lions John Day and Carolyn Tinny present the second $2000 check to Library Director Barbara Murphey and Building Fund Co-ordinator Micelle D'Avico. The Lions have pledged to give $10,000 over five years for the Audio Books Collection.

This season's events: Sonny LaRosa and America's Youngest Jazz Band, The Lowe Family, The SynD'cats, and a Tribute To Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.


Lion President John W. Day III and Lion Mike Reichold shiver for the cause in front of Walmart for a White Cane day February 18th and 19th , 2005. Proceeds from this event went to Vision Care of Pinellas.


Lions Carolyn and Sue of the Largo Club, and Lion Joan of the Seminole Club help the blind by collecting money from Walmat shoppers during our White Cane drive Feb 18th and 19th, 2005.


Lion Rodney Woods takes time from his City Commission campaign to help raise money for eye glasses and eye exams during our White Cane drive Feb 18th and 19th, 2005.
