WELCOME New Members!

CONKLIN CENTER FOR THE BLIND continues to be the first and only agency in Florida and as far as we are aware in the United States, that provides vocational and independent living training followed by optional life-long support to blind individuals who also have additional disabilities.

LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN SIGHTFIRST 11 ONE CHILD GOES BLIND EVERY MINUTE. The Sight-First Program In the past 15 years Lions have donated more to prevent blindness and restore sight than in their previous 65 years as Knights of the Blind.

SIGHTFIRST HAS...
Prevented serious vision loss for 24 million
Provided 65 million treatments for river blindness
Restored sight to 4.6 Million with cataracts
Improved eye care services for hundreds of millions
Trained 68,000 ophthalmologists, ophthalmic nurses, other professional eye care workers.

• Provide Eye Surgery For Those Who Can�t Afford It.
• Provide Guide Dogs For The Blind. (At No Cost)
• Provide Hearing Dogs For The Deaf. (At No Cost)

• Support Three Eye Banks In Florida. (Over 90% World Wide)
• Provide Cornea For Transplants (Over 10,000 In Florida)

• Operate Camps For Visually Impaired Children
• Operate The Only School For Blind With Another Disability
• Support Girl And Boy Scout Programs
